Monday to Friday, 06:00-9:00 and 15:00-18:00 (Split Shifts)

M&E Supervisor

Equans is looking for an M&E Supervisor to join our team in Uxbridge, Middlesex working on our contract with Coca-Cola on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. It is also expected that should a Shift Engineer be on leave or absent, the M&E Supervisor will cover those hours.

On offer is a salary up to £54,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package. An Electrical bias candidate is preferred. 

What will you deliver?

  • Ensure that works are conducted in line with the EQUANS SSoW & Permit to Work system, ensuring adequate procedures and processes are in place
  • Issuing of Authority to Work and conducting Contractor reviews
  • Provide input into the management of the planned maintenance schedule, ensuring associated work tasks are completed in accordance with the agreed PPM planner, SLA and KPI targets, including first hand support (where required) for contract update meetings with the client
  • Complete PPM and reactive works activities in accordance with contract requirements, and arrange for the site team to complete tasks in line with the company competency appointment(s)
  • Prepare Authorisations to work (as per Permit System) and Supervise works carried out by specialist sub-contractors, reporting anomalies to the FM Manager/ SHEQ Manager
  • Supervise contractors and EQUANS Engineers

Mobile Plumber

Equans is looking for a Mobile Plumber to join our team in Birmingham. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, based on a two-week rotating shift pattern of 6am - 2pm & 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. There is also an on-call rota. Mechanical Craftsperson

Equans is looking for a Mechanical Craftsperson (Water) to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £28,000 - £31,000 per annum dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Undertake the water system planned preventive maintenance, testing, breakdown maintenance and other maintenance related activities to the Estate
  • The responsibilities will mainly be at the Acute Hospital but may also include duties at the Retained Estate and Mental Health unit
  • Perform the complete range of Mechanical Craftsperson (Water) tasks as required or directed by management
  • Be knowledgeable of and to work to the current regulations, codes of practice, Health & Safety regulations, and all safety rules both Equans and Statutory
  • Have a knowledge of water systems within a commercial/healthcare environment and maintenance/ testing activities
  • Have a knowledge of Legionella and other water pathogens
  • Have a knowledge of water storage tank cleaning and disinfection
  • Undertake temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and disinfection, Tank visual inspections, water samples, calorifier visual inspections, TMV servicing, to name a few
  • Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to own trade, without supervision
  • Ensure all PPM work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Storeperson to join our facilities team working in our stores room at West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth.  This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm. 

Key activities:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Estates stores, involving the requisitioning of materials, stock control, goods receiving and dealing with invoice and delivery queries.
  • Ensure correct receipt, quantity control, storage and security of stock and non-stock items
  • Ensure best value for money obtaining competitive quotes
  • Ensure all stock is recorded in the CAFM system (Maximo)
  • Ensure Purchase orders are receipted correctly and sent to finance on time.

  • To manage the distribution of stock to staff
  • Discuss with suppliers / manufacturers recommended spares lists for plant and equipment.

Retrofit Coordinator

EQUANS is looking for a Retrofit Coordinator to join our team in  Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a fulltime role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 

Responsible for the management of the retrofit assessment and coordination process, including Survey Software Tool Development, Customer Journey and Trustmark Compliance on both survey and technical solutions.

This position is a crucial role to enable EQUANS to continue to deliver energy efficiency schemes in accordance with PAS2035 process, and in turn access funding schemes such as SHDF, LAD and ECO for our partners at scale.

It is essential that any candidates have experience as a Retrofit Coordinator within a PAS2035 project and also have a Level 5 qualification in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management

 

What will you deliver? 

  • To have full responsibility for the overall management and delivery of the PAS2035 process, including assessment, design, installation and handover and monitoring, as defined in PAS processes.
  • Manage the retrofit survey process throughout the northern region, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance throughout the process
  • Work with Sustainability Manager & Sustainability Team in establishing EQUANS as the partner of choice in energy efficiency retrofit solutions through SHDF, LAD, ECO and any other available funding streams.
  • Provide accurate and effective energy modelling using RdSAP and full SAP, and provide guidance on solutions for meeting specific scheme criteria.
  • Delivery against specific objectives and targets on retrofit schemes.
  • Manage the PAS2035 lodgement process  on trustmatk in accordance with main contract delivery programmes to allow timely draw down of funding.
  • Ensure that the entire end to end surveying process and customer journey provides the highest standards for both our ‘traditional customers’ (RSLs, LAs etc) as well at the end user customers (House Owners, tenants etc)
  • Ensure that the surveying of schemes exceeds targets in terms of survey quality, maximising outputs, and compliance with Trustmark
  • Be the main technical point of contact for Retrofit Coordination and energy modelling and manage relationship with key client stakeholders delighting and exceeding customers expectations
  • Work closely with operational teams to maintain timely and accurate survey information and specification solutions
  • Set up, implement and work with external survey partners on delivering retrofit surveys.
  • Work closely with external solution providers and designers to ensure high quality technical solutions to be passed on to delivery teams
  • Implement and manage an audit programme on both internal and external Assessors to ensure high standards of surveys
  • Assist the Bid Team on quality submissions for tenders ensuring that high standards of technical and process solutions of conveyed
  • Provide a single source of technical knowledge and leadership for the business unit.
  • Disseminate regular updates and briefings to teams, in line with technical developments.

  • Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information

Installatieverantwoordelijke (Bunnik)

Je komt te werken op de afdeling Technical Inspections & Solutions (TIS). De afdeling zorgt voor een volledige ontzorging over inspecties en keuringen van technische installaties op het gebied van wet en regelgeving en normtechnische vereiste. TIS groeit hard en heeft de ambitie om de grootste inspectiedienst van Nederland te worden. Wij werken samen met toonaangevende klanten zoals ABN, Ahold en Havenbedrijf Rotterdam, KLM, Schiphol en diverse datacenters.

Als Installatieverantwoordelijke ga je op pad om de elektrotechnische beleidsvoering bij klanten te implementeren en/of operationeel uit te voeren.  Dit kan zowel binnen de utiliteit als de industrie zijn. Je krijgt ook vanuit heel Equans vraag om hulp en vraag naar kennis over installaties of werkzaamheden. Echter werkt de afdeling Technical Inspections & Solutions (TIS) onafhankelijk binnen Equans om kwaliteit van werk en specialisme te waarborgen.

Dit ga je doen als Installatieverantwoordelijke
- je beoordeelt de risico’s voordat er met de bedrijfsvoering van en werkzaamheden aan elektrotechnische installaties wordt begonnen
- je legt schriftelijk procedures vast voor elektrotechnische werkzaamheden en verleent toestemming om met werkzaamheden te beginnen
- je voert regulier overleg met de opdrachtgever waarbij je technisch adviserend optreedt
- jij bent eerste aanspreekpunt van een eigen klantenportefeuille
- je schrijft elektrotechnische veiligheidsplannen, toetst de inspectieplannen van de installatie en bent in staat om complexe schakelhandelingen te verrichten
- je voert inspecties (NEN3140, thermografie, netanalyses) uit bij opdrachtgevers waar je niet als installatieverantwoordelijke bent aangesteld
- verder verzamel en beheer je de volledige keuringregistratie en je ondersteunt monteurs op het gebied van (internationaal) geldende kwaliteits- en veiligheidsnormen

Dit breng je mee
Je bent uitstekend op de hoogte van de geldende regels en normen en je wordt regelmatig om een elektrotechnisch advies gevraagd, waar je niet alleen deskundig, maar ook klantgericht mee omgaat. Je bent een graag geziene gast, jij kunt immers menigeen voorzien van onderbouwde, (elektro)technische adviezen. Daarnaast:
- beschik je over een afgeronde, elektrotechnische MBO-4 of HBO opleiding
- heb je dit aangevuld met ongeveer 5 jaar werkervaring als inspecteur of met 10 jaar werkervaring als beheertechnicus of inbedrijfsteller
- beschik je over een NEN3140 diploma of een diploma installatieverantwoordelijke (of wil deze opleiding op korte termijn behalen)
- heb je ervaring met het overbrengen van jouw expertise op anderen
- kan je snel schakelen en ben je stressbestendig
