Equans is looking for a Part time Afternoon Cleaner to join our team in Truro Combined Court, Edward Street, Truro TR1 1PB, on a permanent basis working 10 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11.79 per hour and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

Senior M&E Engineer

Equans is looking for a Senior M&E Engineer (Mechanically Biased) to join our team at Barnet General Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, based on a shift pattern of 6am to 3pm and 9am to 6pm rotating weekly. There is also an on-call rota which will include working on the Saturday and Sunday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The role of Senior Engineer is part of the Contract Management team and as such you will be expected to be responsible to support the Management team in ensuring that the M&E/Fabric team delivers the contracted service to the highest quality whilst being committed to safety and following all company protocols.

What will you deliver?

  • Undertaking Responsible Person/Authorised Person duties required by the provision of the contract for the disciplines for which you have been appointed. To act as a role model for the operation of the Safe Systems of Work. To participate in the on call rota. To undertake training as required
  • Manage approved contractors as required; to ensure that all work undertaken is covered by a suitable and sufficient RA/MS in compliance with the Safe System of Work; and to monitor all activities as delegated to ensure that they are completed in full and to the agreed standard
  • Take an active role in the AP/RP/CP matrix by taking on required discipline/s.
  • Assume responsibility for overseeing the M&E team at an engineering level, identifying areas for improvement and escalating any issues identified to line Manager/Management for resolve
  • Assist with overseeing works to capital projects, variations and lifecycle works as required by Management team – with support

  • Proven operational management experience within a hard services environment, with sound knowledge of procedural and legislative frameworks
  • Mechanical Engineering qualification to Level 3
  • AP/CP roles or willingness to take these on
  • Computer literate and capable of using Microsoft and CAFM packages
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Experience in one or more AP disciplines (i.e. Legionella Management / Natural Gas / Ventilation Systems / Pressure Systems / Medical Gases (Desirable)
  • Previous experience working in PFI contracts in a healthcare environment beneficial (Desirable)
  • Experience of quoting/costing for rechargeable works (Desirable)

M&E Technician

Equans is looking for two M&E Technicians, one Electrical Biased and the other Mechanically Biased to join our team at Barnet General Hospital on a permanent basis. These are both full-time roles working 40 hours per week, based on a shift pattern of 6am to 3pm and 9am to 6pm rotating weekly. This a leading role requiring a thorough understanding of engineering building services installation and maintenance techniques. To apply trade skills and experience to ensure the satisfactory completion of allocated maintenance, breakdown repairs, installation, new and refurbishment works. 

What will you deliver?

  • Take responsibility for all works issued and to ensure that all attendance and rectification times are achieved. Where not possible, to escalate to line Manager in good time in order that appropriate action can be taken to mitigate financial penalty risk
  • Ensure that all works assigned are managed so far as attendance and completion times, and that works orders are completed and update to the CAFM system (Maximo). Reports should be concise and include all relevant information to ensure that the workflow process is seamless
  • Responsible for the safe operation, planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical/electrical systems, associated plant/equipment installed throughout the Site
  • Maintain and carry out repairs on HVAC systems, gas appliances, Piped Medical Gas systems, steam plant/equipment and all other equipment in plant rooms, patient areas and other departments
  • Works will involve working in a live Hospital environment, working at height (Podiums), using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery/equipment for larger repairs (Doors etc). All PPE and training as appropriate will be provided

Over de functie
Als Service Coördinator bij Equans ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse technische, organisatorische en administratieve coördinatie van onderhoudsprojecten en de bijbehorende vervolgprojecten. Je bent betrokken vanaf de calculatiefase tot en met de uitvoerings- en beheerfase, waarbij techniek, kwaliteit, kosten, efficiëntie en veiligheid optimaal op elkaar worden afgestemd. Je hebt intensief contact met verschillende afdelingen binnen Equans, klanten, leveranciers en onderaannemers.

Wat ga je doen

  • zelfstandig bepalen van werkvolgorde en opstellen van werk- en onderhoudsplannen
  • organiseren van activiteiten voor collega's en onderaannemers op basis van contractuele afspraken
  • verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor de dagelijkse gang van zaken bij klanten
  • technische domeinkennis toepassen op de projecten en objecten waar je aan werkt
  • beoordelen van de technische kwaliteit van verrichte werkzaamheden en zorg dragen voor correcte storing- en onderhoudsrapportages
  • opnemen van onderhouds- en servicewerkzaamheden voor het opstellen van offertes
  • wekelijks bijwonen van werkvergaderingen bij klanten
  • werkzaamheden vinden voor 90% binnen plaats en 10% buiten, inclusief beschikbaarheid voor onderhoudsnachten

Dit breng jij mee

  • een afgeronde technische mbo-4 opleiding, bijvoorbeeld in elektrotechniek, of een hbo-opleiding
  • minimaal 3 jaar werkervaring als servicetechnicus, werkvoorbereider, contract coördinator, chef-monteur of vergelijkbaar
  • in het bezit van NEN-3140 certificering en een VCA-VOL diploma. Kennis van NEN-1010 en NEN-3840 is een pluspunt
  • ervaring met onderhoudsmanagementsystemen, bij voorkeur Maximo

  • een afgeronde MBO-4 opleiding Installatietechniek of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • je hebt ervaring als uitvoerder of leidinggevende in de uitvoering zoals chef monteur, hoofdmonteur of leidinggevend monteur
  • je hebt ervaring met plannen en organiseren en bent in staat het overzicht te houden over de verschillende teams en projecten
  • je bent klantgericht en werkt graag in teamverband

Dit ga je doen

Als Junior Inbedrijfsteller Fire Safety & Security werk je mee aan de veiligheid van gebouwen en installaties door het testen, configureren en inbedrijfstellen van brand- en beveiligingssystemen. Je krijgt de kans om je technische kennis verder te ontwikkelen en ervaring op te doen in een groeiende en dynamische sector.

In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het installeren, programmeren en in bedrijf stellen van brandmeld- en beveiligingsinstallaties. Daarnaast voer je systeemtests uit en los je eventuele storingen op. Je biedt ondersteuning aan (senior) collega's tijdens inbedrijfstellingsprocessen, waarbij je ook functionele controles en kalibratie van verschillende systemen uitvoert. Verder informeer en instrueer je klanten over het gebruik van de geïnstalleerde systemen. Tot slot rapporteer je de voortgang en testresultaten aan de projectleiding en klanten.
