Electrical Shift Engineer

EQUANS is looking for a Shift Electrical Engineer to join our team at Media City in Salford on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working a shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off. The shifts consist of 2x 7am-7pm followed by 2x 7pm-7am. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:  
EQUANS are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our existing team on the Media City Contract. This is a permanent full-time role working Shifts two days, two nights followed by four days off – 2x 7am-7pm and 2x 7pm-7am. 
The Engineers primary role will be all-round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure.  Have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/building codes of practice.
It is the Electrical Engineer’s role to act as a co-ordination point for the day-to-day activities on site between him or herself and the FM management team. 
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all activities allocated to his shift are undertaken with a professional and conscientious outlook with regards to the quality of work and Health & Safety, maintaining the 100% uptime criteria.
To ensure that there are excellent standards of response to plant failures, completion of assigned work and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently.
The individual should have a very good track record and should be capable of running the operation whilst on duty including their respective shift engineer during night shifts and subcontractors. 
Ensure that any difficulties encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Engineering Supervisor / Manager. 
Ensure all record keeping functions are completed on a daily basis, understanding of escalation procedures.
Be part of overtime for on site works and site cover.
Risk Assessments and Method Statements – read, and review. Carry out Point of Work risk assessment.
Subcontractor’s management.
All PPE, Uniform, tools and specialised tools will be supplied by EQUANS.
The Working Hours are Continental shift based 12 hrs on site 1 hour lunch 2 days and 2 nights shifts followed by 4 days off.

Principal Objectives:  
•Carry out PPM tasks and record and complete relative documents 
•Carry out reactive callouts on critical systems 
•Complete compliance testing and minor works to JSP375 standard
•Minor installation works and testing  
•Clear communication of the company vision and objectives ensuring the implementation of new procedures
•Promote and drive the company values
•Keep up to date with industry developments, driving innovation and effective change

Impact:  
This role will be client forward facing, the candidate will need to have good experience and excellent communication skills to ensure all operational and contractual obligations are adhered to mitigate risk to EQUANS.

We are looking for a confident, experienced a driven individual with an experienced background, good planning and organisational skills

Qualifications or Required Experience:  
•City and Guilds training
•Strong communication skills 
•Good experience of electrical maintenance and repairs 
•Previous AP/ AE experience and qualifications preferred but not essential

General Overview

The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for leading all commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of multiple or high-value projects. This senior role focuses on maximising profitability, ensuring comprehensive legal and contractual compliance, and proactively managing all commercial issues. The Senior Quantity Surveyor is also tasked with overseeing the completion of applications and valuations in line with contract terms, ensuring prompt payments to subcontractors, and aligning all activities with the company's SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) policy and strategy. In this capacity, the Senior QS plays a pivotal role in guiding the commercial strategy and ensuring successful project delivery from a financial and contractual perspective.

Key Accountabilities

  • Project Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and management of project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Ensure rigorous cost control throughout the project lifecycle and manage effective cash collection. Take responsibility for financial performance, providing strategic insights to maximise profitability.
  • Contract Administration: Lead the administration of contracts, including the preparation, negotiation, and finalisation of contract variations. Ensure that all contractual obligations are met, and that legal risks are minimised through robust contract management.
  • Procurement and Tendering: Supervise the procurement process, ensuring the preparation of comprehensive tender documents, careful evaluation of bids, and selection of subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure procurement activities deliver the best value and align with the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Cost Valuation and Reporting: Conduct and oversee regular valuations of work completed, manage payments to subcontractors, and prepare final accounts. Oversee profitability reporting for projects, ensuring the accuracy and robustness of financial reporting (CVRs/WCT) in collaboration with the commercial and operational teams, identifying all risks and opportunities.

Wat ga je doen als Hoofd Personeelscoördinatie?

Als Hoofd Personeelscoördinatie bij Equans Noord ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vervullen van de personeelsbehoefte voor onze projecten en klussen. Je kijkt eerst naar de interne capaciteit en schakelt, wanneer nodig, met uitzendbureaus en openmarktleveranciers om de juiste professionals aan te trekken. Dit ga je doen als Leidinggevend Monteur WT

Als Leidinggevend Monteur Werktuigbouwkunde (in dagdienst) bij Equans bent je verantwoordelijk voor het zelfstandig installeren of onderhouden van gedeelten van werktuigbouwkundige installaties, luchtverwarming, koeling etc., conform relevante normen en richtlijnen alsmede specifieke eisen van de klant. Uiteraard is het van belang dat de werkzaamheden binnen de gestelde tijd en conform werktekeningen, specificaties en (veiligheids-)voorschriften en KAM-procedures worden uitgevoerd. Gelukkig heb jij veel gevoel voor het slim en efficiënt inzetten van het team van monteurs als dit nodig is. Verder ben je het aanspreekpunt voor je collega’s op locatie. Je geeft aanwijzingen en begeleidt medewerkers in overleg met de chef monteur. Je bent een voorbeeld voor collega’s als het gaat om kwaliteit en veiligheid. Je bent continue met collega’s en met externe partijen in contact. Fijn dus dat je gemakkelijk benaderbaar bent.

Je belangrijkste taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • je verzorgt de installatie en montage van technische installaties
  • je verzorgt de inzet en begeleiding van monteurs

Onze afdeling Services bestaat uit het Klussenteam (KSW) en het Onderhoud & Services team (OBS). Waar het Onderhoud & Services team zich focust op het uitvoeren van preventief- en correctief onderhoud middels de onderhoudscontracten, focust het Klussenteam zich op kleinschalig project werk bij onze klanten voortkomend uit de onderhoudscontracten. Eerste Monteur HVAC

Dit ga je doen als Eerste Monteur HVAC

Als Eerste Monteur HVAC kom je te werken binnen onze afdeling Projecten in Maastricht-Airport. Binnen deze afdeling ben jij samen met jouw collega’s verantwoordelijk voor de realisatie van verschillende nieuwbouw- en renovatieprojecten in de utiliteit. De looptijd van deze projecten variëren van 2 maanden tot 1,5 jaar en worden uitgevoerd bij interessante opdrachtgevers in Limburg zoals bijvoorbeeld Zuyderland Medisch Centrum, MUMC+, Universiteit Maastricht, APG, Sabic, DSM, Brightlands en Lonza.

Daarnaast is er binnen de projecten een duurzaamheidscomponent aanwezig waarbij we bijvoorbeeld materialen of installatiedelen hergebruiken. Zo laten we de wereld beter samen achter voor de volgende generaties.

Als Eerste Monteur HVAC ben jij verantwoordelijk voor:

  • zelfstandig installeren van alle voorkomende HVAC-installaties waarbij je rekening houdt met de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften, klanteisen en kwaliteitsnormen. Deze werkzaamheden voer je uit onder leiding van een uitvoerder of chef-monteur
  • begeleiding van monteurs en aankomend monteurs door het geven van aanwijzingen en uitleg over de werkzaamheden
  • zorgen voor een opgeruimde en schone werkplek. Daarnaast maak je efficiënt gebruik van materiaal en gereedschap

Jij komt als Eerste Monteur HVAC terecht in de monteurspoule van de afdeling projecten op onze vestiging Maastricht-Airport. Deze afdeling bestaat uit verschillende teams met allemaal een eigen specialisme en vakkennis. Ondanks de verschillende teams en de verschillende specialismes is het een afdeling waar kennis gedeeld en van elkaar geleerd wordt. Collega’s zijn collegiaal en je kunt met vragen bij iedereen terecht. Er heerst een dynamische en informele sfeer waarbij onze collega’s bereid zijn iets voor elkaar te doen.

Wie ben jij

Samenwerking vinden we dan ook belangrijk, zowel binnen het team maar ook met collega’s van andere disciplines. We verwachten dan ook van jou dat je goed in teamverband kunt werken. Verder passen jouw communicatieve vaardigheden goed bij onze vacature van Eerste Monteur HVAC. Ook beschik je over:

  • een afgeronde mbo-opleiding HVAC, installatietechniek of werktuigbouwkunde
  • voldoende ervaring als monteur of eerste monteur HVAC om zelfstandig te kunnen werken binnen de installatietechniek
  • bekendheid met het lezen van diverse installatietechnische tekeningen
  • goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal

SOLDADORA/OR

EQUANS Chile (EQCL), se encuentra en búsqueda de SOLDADORA/OR que cumpla con los procedimientos establecidos. Ejecutar los servicios de mantención preventiva, predictiva y correctiva (programadas y de emergencias) que requieran los equipos e instalaciones, en la especialidad de soldaduras, de acuerdo con los protocolos y lineamientos establecidos para la división y bajo los estándares de calidad, seguridad y protección al medio ambiente, con el objetivo de cumplir con los trabajos normados en los plazos estipulados y asegurar la disponibilidad de los equipos.

TECNICA/O MECANICA

EQUANS Chile (EQCL), se encuentra en búsqueda de un TECNICA/O MECANICA/O quien tendrá como principal función realizar las tareas de mantención de los equipos e instalaciones de las áreas de Planta, según los programas, procedimientos y normas establecidas al respecto, con el fin de garantizar la disponibilidad y confiabilidad de los equipos e instalaciones comprometidas en el contrato de mantención, bajo los estándares de calidad, seguridad y protección al medio ambiente definidos.

Profesión / Estudios: 

  •  Mantenedor Mecánico (Técnicos nivel superior, industrial y/o Ingenieros Mecánicos)

  •  Con al menos 2 años de experiencia para el caso de Técnico nivel superior e Ingenieros y al menos de 5 años para personal de nivel técnico Industrial.
