Contract Manager

EQUANS are recruiting for a Contract Manager to be based in Oldham. This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary,Car allowance, bonus and benefits package.

General Overview

The role of the Contract Manager is to directly manage a designated workstream on the contract, as a member of the senior management team you will ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, to a high-quality standard, with exceptional customer care. Acting as a role model for your teams and instilling the Equans culture to all colleagues.

Key Accountabilities

To take ownership and manage your workstream ensuring all task are carried out to a high standard, including but not limited to:

Ensure that EQUANS all safety policy and procedures are followed by you and your team, ensuring all works are carried out in a safe compliant manor across all disciplines required on the contract by both the in house and supply chain.
Manage effectively all working at Height carried out by your team including scaffold inspection and management.
Record all accidents, near misses, Safety observations and HIPO’s on AIMS
Coach and train your team to enable them to carry out their role on the contract.
Manage absence in line with the policy for your work stream, update HR.net with all relevant cases.
Manage Employee Relations, e.g Investigations/Disciplinary’s/Grievances.
Ensure your teams have the correct tools, equipment, and materials to carry out their work including imprest kit management in vehicles.
Manage your team’s productivity, including holding meetings with supervisors, record actions and when necessary, implement performance improvement plans.
Carry out pre, post and in progress inspections (MSV) and record findings on AIMS.
Hold regular one 2 one meetings and PDR meetings with your teams.
Ensure your team carry out all mandatory training and support any ongoing training for team members including apprentices.
Auditing Subcontractors and operatives in respects to quality and compliance to Statutory Regulations and company procedures and record on AIMS.
Resource planning and supporting any recruitment for your teams including carrying out interviews, induction and ordering of tools and equipment, uniforms, and ID.
Manage the Annual leave for your team to avoid peaks and troughs and have a consistent workforce including Christmas and summer periods.
Manage the fleet allocated to your workstream.
Own the KPI’s relevant to your workstream and drive performance to exceed targets.
Support management of complaints
Manage subcontractors including compliance and profitability.
Ensure your team support the ECO rota to provide adequate cover for all shifts.
Take responsibility for your workstream tracker, ensuring this is updated daily and the relevant information is cascaded to your teams.
Support the social value activities on the contract to ensure we meet our commitments.

Equans is looking for a Floor Tiler to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.

General Overview

The Floor Tiler is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of flooring within tenanted properties. This role involves preparing surfaces, laying flooring materials, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications and industry standards. The Floor-layer must work efficiently, paying close attention to detail, and adhering to all safety regulations.

What will you deliver?

Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling, and smoothing surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of flooring materials.
Install a variety of flooring materials, including carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile.
Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas, ensuring precise and accurate installation.
Apply adhesives, grouts, and other necessary substances to secure flooring materials.

Conduct final inspections to ensure the flooring is installed correctly, meets quality standards, and aligns with client expectations.

Project Manager

EQUANS is looking for a Project Manager to join our team at Barnett Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

This role is fundamental to the delivery of all projects and lifecycle works on behalf of Equans and the Client. Meeting the Clients needs and ensuring works are delivered within budget and on time is paramount and the post holder needs to reflect this in the day-day operations. All projects must ensure a favourable financial return.

As part of the Project Management team you will take full accountability for the delivery of projects across the PFI site. Your role will be fundamental to the efficient delivery of projects to both the SPV and Trust who you will build relationships with as part of your role. You will be expected to work well with the remainder of the team and support the wider Operational team to support the business in its Contractual delivery.

We are looking for a driven individual to add expertise and dimension to the team at the Hospital. The individual will be able to demonstrate flexibility and efficiency in responding to a changing workload and business imperatives while able to establish excellent working relationships within the existing team and clients alike. Experience within a contractual, KPI-driven environment and exposure to a hospital PFI environment a pre-requisite.

The ideal candidate will have an M&E or construction background and previous experience of end to end project management, being responsible for development through to completion.

What will you deliver?

Take profit and loss responsibility for those projects allocated to you. To own each project and delivery with a high degree of attention to design, construction and financial detail. Deliver projects without LADs being applied
From resources available, draw together matrix managed teams to deliver owned projects. These may be from a combination of in-house and out-sourced resources
To be accountable for the service delivery in accordance with business systems, such as quality assurance, environmental management system, financial systems, administration and policies
Through a recognised process (usually identified by the client process e.g. RIBA plan of work) create strategic, operational and tactical programmes to demonstrate how projects will be delivered. Set and manage management and client expectations through clear communications centred around programme/construction programme, budget (internal / external) and the quality of services delivered during live projects until completion and post completion assessment
To Manage the development of detailed Work Method Statements, Risk and COSHH and CDM assessments for all work activity undertaken by in-house and contracted staff ensuring complete compliance. Maintain high and statutory compliant health and safety standards on project sites at all times
To appoint, manage, monitor and co-ordinate consultants as required and the on site activities of all sub-contractors with regard to programme and ensuring that appropriate planning consents, CDM requirements, Method Statements, Risk and COSHH Assessments and Permits to Work are in place prior to work commencing
In accordance with contract forms, manage projects within the specified terms. Ensure risk is appropriately considered for sub-contract transfer or reviewed in conjunction with procurement / legal departments to agree risk share
In conjunction with Purchasing Department colleagues prepare and issue documentation for schedules of rates, quotations, tenders and term contracts as appropriate. Carry out tender evaluations and check that returned documents conform to requirements
Promote effective and efficient co-ordination and integration between the projects team(s) and other departments on the contract and wider Equans managers. Promote effective and efficient co-ordination and integration. Ensure projects delivered do not compromise TFM/PFI KPIs or render space unavailable
Provide urgent management information when required, weekly up-dates and monthly management information for pipeline, cashflow, budgetary and ‘Gesion’ purposes
To develop business opportunities within and external to the contract where appropriate
Produce business approval & revue documentation for the launch of new tenders at bid stage, tender receipt and analysis stage and documentation for board ‘Bouclage’ approval to proceed to submission
To ensure that SLAs from subcontractors are met and exceed the requirements of the TFM contract and that sub-contracts are negotiated, reviewed and renewed actively and in line with the needs of each individual project
Gather organise and provide information required for report purposes to meet all contractual obligations including KPI’s and maintain such records as are required by the contract. Work closely with supply chain on all appointment and monitoring activities
To ensure that all contracting companies plant and equipment is maintained in a safe condition and is ready for use at all times
To participate in out of hours management team as part of Contract business continuity plan

RICS, CIOB, CEng, Graduate or Higher Technician status in a construction technological field – likely to be building services, with previous varied contracting and/or PM consultancy experience

Experience in working in a government contract/environment and a strong understanding of listed buildings

Directement basé(e) sur le site de notre client (environnement militaire), vous intégrez notre équipe multi métiers de 6 personnes. Sous la responsabilité d’un Responsable d’affaires, vos missions seront de :

Réaliser des opérations de maintenance et dépannages sur les installations électriques du site (armoires électriques, groupes électrogènes, etc…) ;

Effectuer le remplacement d’équipements ;

Proposer des solutions techniques d’améliorations ou de remplacements ;

Réaliser les consignations haute tension à la demande du client ;

Garantir le respect de planning de maintenance ;

Renseigner l’outil de GMAO ;

Appliquer les mesures de sécurité ;

Participer au service d’astreinte ;

En période de creux d’activité, apporter son soutien auprès de l’équipe en maintenance multitechnique ;

Travail du lundi au vendredi

Notre Département Projet Génie Climatique du Pôle Ingénierie comprend 60 collaborateurs répartis dans nos agences de Nantes et Lyon.

En étroite collaboration avec nos Chargés d’Affaires et Chefs de Projet, vous participez aux études de prix et au chiffrage de nos grands projets en Génie Climatique (de deux à plusieurs dizaines de millions d’euros).

Analyse du dossier d’appel d’offres sur les plans techniques, administratifs et contractuels

Consultation auprès des fournisseurs
Chiffrage et réalisation des devis
Proposition de solutions techniques innovantes et différenciantes
Valorisation du dossier de réponse à appel d’offre et des mémoires techniques

Votre formation :

De formation type DUT/BTS ou Licence Professionnelle spécialisée en Énergie ou en Génie Climatique, vous justifiez d’une première expérience réussie en dimensionnement d’installations CVC au sein d’une entreprise ou d’un BE spécialisé en Génie Climatique.

Vous manipulez aisément le logiciel Autocad. La connaissance du logiciel Revit est un réel atout.

Description du poste :

Vous intégrerez notre équipe d’études en conception et réalisation de systèmes électriques (Alimentation et contrôle commande) pour le fonctionnement d’installations HVAC (Chauffage ; Ventilation ; Traitement d’air ; Climatisation) dans des secteurs allant du tertiaire à l’industrie spécialisée.

Vous êtes apte à :

Prendre en main et piloter des études d’électricité et de régulation ;
Garantir le respect des plannings, des budgets et des engagements pris en réunion ;
Gérer l’équipe mise à disposition ;
Assurer la coordination et la communication avec tous les interlocuteurs des dossiers ;
Collaborer aux choix et à la mise en œuvre des solutions retenues lors de la conception.

Issu(e) d’une formation technique, vous justifiez d’une solide expérience spécialisée en génie électrique industriel, électrotechnique et contrôle de la régulation.

Curieux(-se) et rigoureux(-se), vous souhaitez voir le résultat de votre travail.

Au sein du département Projet Hospitalier Tertiaire et Industrie, sous la responsabilité du Responsable de service, vous réalisez et pilotez les réponses à appels d’offre de nos grands projets industriels dans le métier du Génie climatique (2 à plusieurs dizaines de millions d’euros) en France et à l’International. Vous interviendrez notamment sur nos projets en phase conception & chiffrage dans des domaines d’activités variés (Santé, Recherche, Défense, Industrie (Batteries électriques, éolien, hydrogène, agro-alimentaire,…).

En étroite collaboration avec les Responsables Opérationnels et avec l’appui de Techniciens d’Etudes, vos missions s’articulent autour des axes suivants :

Analyser les dossiers d’appel d’offres sur le plan technique, administratif et contractuel ;
Valider les choix techniques, la faisabilité du projet et analyser les possibilités de variantes ;
Piloter la réalisation de l’étude, des métrés et la consultation des fournisseurs ;
Coordonner et valider le chiffrage et la réalisation des devis ;
Proposer des solutions techniques innovantes et différenciantes ;
Réaliser le mémoire technique ;
Présenter et valoriser le dossier en externe (Maitrise d’œuvre, Maitre d’ouvrage) et auprès de nos clients internes (Agences).

Votre formation :

De formation Ingénieur spécialisée dans le domaine de l’Energie ou du Génie climatique, vous justifiez d'une expérience réussie d'au moins 4 ans.

Vous avez de solides compétences techniques dans le domaine du génie climatique et particulièrement en conception d’installation HVAC.

Vos atouts :

Esprit d’analyse, aisance relationnelle, capacité à travailler en équipe et à convaincre sont des atouts majeurs pour réussir dans ce poste.

Nous souhaitons intégrer un.e Technicien.ne de maintenance Multi-technique pour consolider notre équipe de techniciens de notre prestigieux site situé à Paris 17^ème.

Rattaché au chef d'équipe corps d'états architecturaux, vos missions sont les suivantes :

Réparation de Serrures automatiques
Recherche de pannes sur serrures électroniques (KEL, Guittoti, MSL) et changement de canons
Interventions sur menuiserie bois et aluminium,
Opérations de métallerie, soudure à l'arc et TIG (portail, garde-corps, stores...)
Réparation de moquette, création de trappes
Réparation de mobilier,

Vous suivez et pilotez vos sous-traitants et réalisez vos demandes de devis matériel auprès de votre responsable.

Vous vous assurez auprès du magasinier de disposer de toutes les pièces détachées nécessaires à vos interventions.

Vous renseignez les comptes-rendus d’intervention sur la GMAO

Vous pouvez intégrer l’astreinte technique dédiée du site.

Votre planning correspond à une organisation 37h semaine, plage horaire à couvrir par l'équipe 8h -21h

Et si on parlait de vous ?

Vous avez une expérience dans le domaine de la maintenance multi technique et en serrurerie-Métallerie. Vous savez dépanner des serrures électroniques, vous maîtrisez les techniques de soudure (acier, inox…), la pose de menuiserie.

Votre relationnel et votre autonomie vous permettent de vous adapter aux problématiques du client. Votre sens du service et votre curiosité technique, sont des atouts indispensables pour réussir vos missions.
