Equans in Roeselare is looking for a driven Site Supervisor Solar Technics to strengthen our project management team within the new Carbon Shift organization.

In this role, you will support the Project Manager in executing construction projects from start to finish, focusing on industrial solar energy projects. You will coordinate activities on-site, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with time, budget, and quality standards.

Your key responsibilities:

  • project management: manage daily activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • team leadership: guide and motivate staff and subcontractors, with regular progress meetings
  • communication: act as a liaison between customers, contractors, and stakeholders; report to senior management
  • quality assurance: monitor work progress and conduct inspections for quality and craftsmanship
  • documentation: maintain site logbooks, safety reports, and project documentation

Your strengths?

  • bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction management; experience with renewable energy is a plus
  • knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
  • you don't have the necessary skills/knowledge yet? On-the-job training is possible
  • flexible and willing to work on-site
  • strong organizational and communication skills (at least bilingual NL/EN or FR)

Vous jonglez entre la gestion humaine, matérielle et financière pour garantir le respect des délais, des normes de sécurité et de qualité, tout en rapportant directement au Chef de chantier ou au Chef de projet.

Votre quotidien :

  • préparation des chantiers : qualité, sécurité, planification, besoins en personnel, réquisitions matérielles…
  • suivi opérationnel : supervision des équipes, relations avec les clients, respect des standards de qualité, état d’avancement et participation aux réunions de chantier
  • repli du chantier : rangement du matériel, nettoyage, réception des travaux, gestion des suppléments et réclamations
  • garantir la productivité et les résultats attendus des chantiers
  • rapportage régulier sur l’avancement des projets et mise en place de mesures correctives si nécessaire
  • identifier les besoins de votre équipe (formations, matériel, etc.)

Electrician

EQUANS is looking for an Electrician to join our team at Heysham Power Station on a permanent basis for EDF. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Description:
To carry out Installation & maintenance routines unsupervised, diagnose and repair faults on electrical building services, electrical switch gear, domestic and industrial installations and PAT testing.   

Technical Competence:
• Formal and recognised apprenticeship served in relevant skill area and have minimum of 4 years relevant and practical experience within building services
• Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with electronic test equipment
• Able to service and fault find on both conventional and Bespoke installations.
• Ability to follow work instructions, read/ interpret technical diagrams and report technical information as required

Multi Skilled Operative

Equans is looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team in Leeds, on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company van and benefits package.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Multi-Skilled Operative is responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance work on homes and properties. This role operates in a multi-skilled environment, delivering high standards of customer care and satisfaction. The operative ensures that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard, often in a single visit. 

What will you deliver?

  • Execute all types of repair, maintenance, and refurbishment tasks in a multi-skilled capacity. 
  • Complete repairs and maintenance across various trade disciplines where competent. 
  • Attend and complete repair appointments punctually and within target times, aiming for first-time resolution. 
  • Ensure the safe use and condition of company tools, equipment, and fleet vehicles.
  • Diagnose necessary remedial work, organise appointments, and arrange required materials as needed. 
  • Minimise disruption to customers' homes, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness during and after tasks. 
  • Participate in the company's out-of-hours emergency repair and maintenance rota as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with client specifications and requirements.

Who are we looking for?

  • Level 2 Building Maintenance Multi-Trade Repair and Refurbishment Operations or equivalent.  
  • Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card. 
  • NVQ level 2 / City and Guilds qualifications in key trades (Plumbing, Carpentry, Plastering, Joinery etc)  
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in Construction  
  • Current valid driving license
  • Appropriate level of experience within building construction and repairs and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
