Mobile Maintenance Technician
EQUANS are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Technician working on our Rochdale and Oldham Schools contract in Oldham. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

EQUANS are looking for an experienced Technician to join their mobile maintenance team on the Rochdale & Oldham Schools contract. The Mobile Maintenance Technician will be required to:
•Undertake general maintenance reactive repair works on a range of commercial and domestic systems across the accommodation portfolio.
•Ensure all issued works are completed within set time frames to ensure SLA’s are achieved and client expectations are met.
•Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) works, within set time frames to ensure statutory compliance.
•Proactively identify and undertake maintenance works (reactive works not yet identified by the client).
•Undertake mechanical improvement & Lifecycle works as required.
•Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant.
•Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of assets on site
•Provide support for mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance reactive works.
•Support the wider maintenance team with ad-hoc reactive & PPM works as required.
•Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner.
•Maintain stock, advising on requirements to ensure plant and system availability can be assured at all times.
•Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas.
•Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings.
•Proactively work safely, ensuring the safety and well-being of yourself, colleagues, students and visitors.
•Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of EQUANS; monitoring the activities of subcontractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
•Ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
•Be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
•Ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
•Provide AdHoc support to various sites within the business
Impact:
The successful applicant must be reliable and professional, providing technical guidance and expertise to help shape and drive the lifecycle requirements of the site. They must be an effective communicator, with the ability to deal with internal and external Stakeholders. They must be able to work on their own initiative whilst adhering to set procedures, have good time management and organisational skills and show a flexible attitude to working patterns.
Complexity:
The successful applicant will be adept at problem solving and will be required to provide fault diagnosis to ensure timely rectification of reactive works requests. A working knowledge of all systems and BMS controls will be required to be effective in this role.

HVAC Engineer
EQUANS are looking for a HVAC Engineer working on our Knowsley Schools contract in Liverpool. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
•Accountable for ensuring all Spaces, Environmental/Temperature Control rooms and equipment are available for end users, keeping down times to an absolute minimum during breakdowns.
•Fault find on all A/C units, refrigeration systems and chiller plant on site.
•Ensure the site’s F-Gas logbook is kept up to date, and all losses, recoveries and additions are recorded appropriately.
•Be responsible for the maintenance and operational upkeep of portable and fixed air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
•Plan, oversee and work with all subcontractors during service visits associated with Refrigeration systems.
•Recover, repair, pressure test, vacuum dehydrate, charge and re-commission A/C units as required.
•Adaptable and able to undertake any other engineering task as required by the Account Manager or Technical Services Manager.
•Ensure that PPM and Reactive jobs are processed.
•Defects are diagnosed and reported.
•Faults are repaired in a timely manner and in budget.
•Complete daily job sheets and PPM logs via PDA/tablet in real time using CAFM systems.
•Responsibilities will also include being a member of the on-call rota for the contract.

Qualifications or Required Experience:
•Recognised EITB or CITB apprenticeship or other similar approved training or further education qualifications in an appropriate discipline

M&E Supervisor
Equans is a renowned facilities and maintenance contractor and a proud member the Bouygues global industrial group. Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an M&E Building Services Supervisor to support our multi-site Barking Schools contract where Equans provides total FM services at two secondary schools.
Key activities:
- Supervise the M&E team to ensure all work is carried out to contract specification and client satisfaction
- To undertake PPM and reactive works ensuring that all jobs are completed in line with SLA’s, KPI’s and CPI’s
- To ensure the speedy and correct allocation of work so that jobs are completed in accordance with the performance monitoring system
- Assist with the planning and organising of work for both direct and contract labour to ensure cost and time targets are met including allocating and controlling overtime organising out-of-hours emergency works
- Order materials and services, maintain records, control stock, provide engineers reports, etc
- Assist with estimates, site measurements and cost control information; to identify chargeable works and ensure these are properly recorded
- Liaise with the client when required to resolve any issues
- To organise and participate in the out of hours on-call rota
- Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
Skills, qualifications & experience:
- Must hold a recognised electrical or mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience.
- Must have supervisory experience and good people management skills (appraisals, training, recruitment, team briefings, )
- Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook; any experience with Maximo an advantage
- Proven track record of maintenance/hard services within Facilities Management
- Strongly client focused, able to take ownership of projects/issues and resolve
- A proactive, flexible, can-do approach
- Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal records check due to working alongside children

Missions
Nous recherchons notre futur technicien vannes (H/F) pour rejoindre les équipes de Thierry, Directeur d’agence.
En lien avec nos équipes d'instrumentistes et nos équipes techniques, vous contribuez à l'activité de notre atelier de maintenance de robinetterie et vannes industrielles (automatisées, régulées, manuelles). Vous aurez en charge les missions suivantes :
- Assurer la maintenance préventive (entretien) et curative des vannes de régulation.
- Réaliser le diagnostic, le dépannage et la remise en état des vannes.
- Certifier de l'état de conformité et de fonctionnement des vannes à travers l'utilisation de bancs de tests adaptés.
- Intervenir dans la mise en œuvre des vannes sur site industriel, et également dans l'instrumentation si vous en avez la compétences.
- Rédiger des rapports décrivant les interventions réalisées.
Vous avez une vraie valeur ajoutée pour élaborer des propositions techniques et pour améliorer nos connaissances, nos procédés, nos solutions techniques et notre matériel.
Votre Profil
Titulaire d'une formation technique en mécanique, maintenance industrielle ou instrumentation, etc. vous avez acquis une première expérience professionnelle significative dans la maintenance de vannes dans sociétés industrielles, de robinetterie, ou encore de prestation de services techniques. Vos connaissances en automatisme seraient un véritable plus pour le poste. Par ailleurs vous êtes reconnu pour votre sens de l’organisation et votre sens de l’adaptation.
