Bij Equans in Wetteren zoeken we een Chauffeur/Elektricien Openbare Verlichting die zin heeft in een afwisselende job in de buitenlucht, vol impact, zelfstandigheid en techniek.
In deze job maak jij de energietransitie mogelijk door technische oplossingen te bieden en letterlijk het verschil te maken – door het licht aan te houden. Je werkt mee aan projecten rond openbare verlichting en het elektriciteitsnet in Vlaanderen. Je zorgt ervoor dat straten, pleinen en parken veilig en goed verlicht zijn – essentieel werk dus!

Wat ga je precies doen?
- installatie en montage van verlichtingspalen en straatlampen
- aanpassingen aan het openbaar elektriciteitsnet
- werken met een lift- of kraanwagen
- graafwerken uitvoeren indien nodig (manueel of met kraan)
- materialen ophalen op de werf of in het magazijn
- uitvoeren van meetstaten van de geleverde werken
- veilig werken volgens de geldende procedures en richtlijnen
Jouw troeven?
- minimaal een A3-diploma elektriciteit of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
- een geldig rijbewijs C (of B) – ervaring met een kraan- of liftwagen is een troef
- bereidheid tot manueel werk (graafwerken, plaatsen van palen ...)
- een grote zin om bij te leren en te groeien in je vak
- je bent een doener met technisch inzicht, die graag buiten werkt en trots is op degelijk werk
- je kan zelfstandig werken, maar bent ook een echte teamspeler
- goede kennis van het Nederlands (voor veiligheid en communicatie)

General Maintenance Operative
EQUANS are looking for a General Maintenance Operative working on behalf of our HMCTS contract at Woolwich Crown Court. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
Equans provide technical and soft services to our client HMCTS across a large portfolio of buildings across the UK. As part of the service, we provide low voltage electrical maintenance and installation services, and because of business growth, we are recruiting for additional roles to provide these services for our customer
Qualifications
Desirable to have an NVQ (or similar) in one of the below –
•Plumbing
•Carpentry
•Decorating services
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and EQUANS processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities. Activities will include but not limited to –
•Inspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofs
•Inspect /repair free standing and fitted furniture
•Inspect/clear drainage and gully systems
•Inspect/replace lamps / tubes
•Inspect/repair doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.
•Legionella duties – tap temps and flushing
•Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
•Plantroom inspections and AHU filter changes
•Reactive repairs and initial attendance for toilets, leaks and blockages
•Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required
•Carry out reactive / Ad-Hoc activities – being the first response on site, and where appropriate taking immediate action to make safe
•Escorting contractors
•External Litter picking
•Flat roof cleaning, including gullies and drains
•Basic general grounds maintenance tasks
-Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
-Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
-Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding planned and reactive activities and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
-Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
-To develop a good working relationship with all members of Equans staff, subcontractors and the client representatives.
-Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To always include the wearing of uniform and PPE.
-Ensure the professional image of Equans is presented to clients at all times
-Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of Equans are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
-Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site carrying out associated Fabric tasks
-To arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
-To undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
-Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
-Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
-Ensure CAFM system, e.g. Maximo, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
-To carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
The position will require you to provide support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.

•Ensure supervisor is informed immediately if dangerous circumstances occur
SHEQ
•Comply with requests for information from SHEQ manager
•Ensure you work to company health and safety policy
•Ensue PPE is safe to use
•Report accident and near misses in a timely manner
•Ensure your test equipment is within calibration
•Ensure you follow Method Statements & Risk Assessments for all works
Impact:
Working to high standard of service, we require a fully reliable and competent Handyman/Fabric Tech who can work on own initiative, within a team or oversee subcontractor’s, producing good quality reports on their findings and work. The role will involve being the face of EQUANS so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others including customers is required.
Complexity:
The successful candidate will have the ability to work unaided and build rapports with end users and customers, promoting EQUANS’ values.
Have an excellent knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and/or painting/decorating techniques.

Technical Services Supervisor (Mechanical)
EQUANS are looking for a Technical Services Supervisor (Mechanical) working at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
The Technical Services Supervisor (TSS) is responsible for the planning of work and the co-ordination of directly employed labour/sub-contractors at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital. Ensuring all maintenance, repairs and ongoing condition of mechanical services, associated systems, plant, and equipment are to a standard in accordance with the requirements of the Project Agreements. The TSS will commit to ensuring penalty deductions are minimised by achieving the required performance targets described in the output specifications. The TSS will take an active role in Equans Safety First initiatives including co-ordinating and delivering regular toolbox talks, safety stand downs and the minimising of incidents and accidents on site. Ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery. The Technician will have technical knowledge in more than one skill or technology area and will form part of the out of hours on call rota. Flexible working hours required.
Role Specific Accountabilities:
• Act as a lead directly responsible for Maintenance Team performance.
• Provide leadership and motivation to the Maintenance Team in delivering the requirements of the service.
• Work in accordance with the requirements of statute, technical guidance and codes of practice.
• Carry out duties in accordance with safe working practices within statute, NHS Trust and Company policies and guidelines including Health Technical Memorandum (HTM) and respective standards.
• Ensure the mechanical team receive all necessary training specific to roles, regulations, guidance and policy so they can fulfil their duties
• Manage and supervise responsive and planned maintenance of plant, equipment through directly employed labour and external contractors.
• Participate in the implementation of the Company SSOW permit to work systems.
• Co-ordinate with the Equans Helpdesk and MAXIMO CAFM system to manage the issuing and closing out of reactive and preventative maintenance tasks required under the Project Agreements. Co-ordinate all reactive and proactive maintenance work daily.
• Be actively involved in assessing and documenting subcontractor performance in support of the Head of Technical Operations Manager/Account Director.
• Requisition of materials, services and transport as required. Manage centralised stock levels to ensure a prioritised and effective response to maintenance issues.
• Undertake regular site visits to monitor and assess directly employed labour and task progress / completion. To include quality inspection of work completed.
• Instruct others on all aspects of their work to include assisting with the co-ordination and delivery of toolbox talks.
• At all times maintain a smart appearance and professional manner that is representative of EQUANS in the workplace.
• Flexible working hours may be required including overtime working to meet the needs of the business.
• Assist with evaluating training received by trade staff and assessing their competency.
• Be prepared to undertake any relevant training to develop the position in line with the changing needs of the service provision.
• Provide technical engineering advice and support to maintenance staff where required.
• Positively manage relationships to enhance perception of service provision.
• Assist the Head of Technical Operations Manager/ Account Director/Technical Services manager in the production of management reports and analyses.
• Undertake any other duties as required commensurate with this role.
• Be part of the out of hours management rota and attend site as necessary.
• Commit to a minimum of three Authorised Person (AP) roles for which training, assessment and appointment is included.
• Meet daily with the respective mechanical teams to manage workload accordingly.
• Support the Lifecycle Projects team with any operational requirements such as isolations, planning of works, cause and effect of works, etc.
• Review RAMS specific to role and AP duties
• Provide all necessary supporting information for any funding application specific to the contract such as Reactive Over Cap (ROC) applications, etc.
• Ensure the mechanical team carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections and commissioning tests in accordance with Procedures and schedules.
• Manage the collation and filing of all supporting information and evidence of PPM’s completed, remedial works completed and associated certification and service sheets
• Where appropriate be knowledgeable in relation to all site Engineering and Building services.
• Refer to and understand all Engineering/Technical drawings and specifications. Interpret technical detailed manuals, carryout both routine and non-routine fault diagnosis and repair specialist trust engineering equipment, assist in commissioning, problem solving in new technical services and communicate technical knowledge to others.
• Whilst providing an on-call service assist/liaise with the Emergency Services should an incident take place at any Health premises, independently deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to other members of the team, assist/liaise with contractors, utility suppliers, professional parties and other service providers outside of normal office hours, supporting duties for the Trust Fire Team and Major Incident Team, advise the Senior Equans Management team on maintenance issues as required outside of normal office hours.
• Ensure all relevant statutory testing is compliant with insurance requirements and ensure all reports and test certificates are completed as necessary.
• Respond to and liaise with other members of Equans and when applicable Trust staff who request assistance
• Be able to drive appropriate Trust vehicles for transporting personnel or equipment.
• Be prepared to work in hazardous areas, confined spaces and on contaminated equipment taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment in accordance with policy and safe working procedures i.e., the post holder will conduct risk assessments and complete action / treatment plans for all tasks.
• Identify and prioritise own work load and actively participate in the operation of the performance management information system, including the completion of all paper work required by the scheme in a timely manner.
• Ensure the security of all plant, equipment and buildings under the jurisdiction of the Equans FM Service.
• Escalate any plant or equipment failure and request in writing the supply of goods and/or services with reference to manufacturers manuals etc. Maintain stock levels for spares and equipment.
• Be fully conversant with all Equans and all relevant policies and procedures including:- Fire Safety, Infection Control, Heath & Safety at Work Act, COSHH Regulations and Manual Handling guidance and safe systems of work
• Escalate immediately any problems within the hospitals that may be of danger to staff and members of the public. To ensure that accident forms are completed and cooperate with the investigation of any incident or untoward occurrence
• Escalate any members of staff, patient or visitor who may contravene hospital regulations i.e. fire, parking, smoking, electrical equipment.
• Supervise, communicate with and develop the Mechanical team, and assess/evaluate the quality of work. The role also requires you to support the provision of professional supervision, induction and training of new starters, apprentices and Maintenance staff as part of a personal development programme.
TRAINING
• The post holder shall participate in continual professional development and undertake training where necessary to learn new techniques across a range of core trade areas.
• The postholder will undertake any training necessary specific to the job role to ensure they are competent, trained and assessed to do so.
• Participate in all training required in line with the training matrix/programme.
• The post holder will be provided with adequate training in correct lifting techniques by a recognised lifting instructor and be instructed in heavy lifting techniques as required. Also to be instructed/trained to erect scaffolding, use of ladders and use of high access equipment e.g. cherry picker.
Impact:
The individual will play a vital role to EQUANS, working alongside an already established technical team to ensure that the operations are legally and contractually compliant and represent excellence in service delivery. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a positive set of behaviours and a flexible approach to ensure contract compliance.
Complexity:
A driven individual to add expertise and dimension to the building maintenance team at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital. They will demonstrate flexibility and efficiency in responding to changing business requirements and will establish good working relationships with other team members. Essential Criteria
- Must have completed a recognised and accredited mechanical apprenticeship
- Must have supervisory/ line management experience on large, complex sites
- Must have managed direct employed labour and contractors to deliver services
- Must have one or more of the following specialisms with associated accredited certification and experience:
- Water Systems
- HVAC Systems
- Pressure Systems
- Must have help an authorised person position
- Must have a strong knowledge of statutory regulations specific to the role
- Must have experience of managing PPM and Reactive maintenance on a large complex site

- Worked on in an acute hospital environment
- Full understanding of Health Technical Memorandum guidance
- Hold multi-disciplinary qualifications and experience

Qualifications and/ or Required Experience:
Essential:
- Must have completed a recognised and accredited apprenticeship
- ONC/C&G or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial/ industrial environment providing building services maintenance.
- Must have experience and understanding of large complex systems
- Experience of working on two or more of: HVAC (AHU’s, Ventilation), LTHW, Water Systems, Pumps, Pipework, Valves, Pressure Systems/ Steam raising plant, Calorifiers and Plate Heat Exchangers, and other mechanical systems.
- Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and statute.
- Ability to measure, works to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams.
- PPM & Reactive Work
- Competent Person certification and experience
- Experience in the operation of CAFM systems
- Experience of the direct supervision of a labour force
- Basic computer skills (Windows Office/ECDL)
Desirable:
- Qualified to HNC level
- Experience of Building Management Systems (BMS) - Authorised Person certification and experience
- Healthcare experience would be an advantage. But further training and familiarisation will be offered for the right candidate.
- Qualifications and/or experience in the control of Legionella (L8) - Health & Safety qualifications (Nebosh, IOSH etc.)

Key activities
- To undertake a range of energy simulations, analysis and reporting processes, using a range of software tools and analysis techniques. To assist in the preparation and appraisal of techno-economic business cases for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
- Assist in the preparation of client-facing proposals and reports, such as outline / tender proposals, technical submittals reports - using standard templates and processes developed by Equans Carbon Shift.
- To aid in the development of new renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, through production of energy simulation models – to advise team members on options to improve energy performance, born from observations made in simulation modelling options.

Als Senior Calculator bij Equans ben jij de spil in ons Modificatieteam in Bunnik. Je werkt nauw samen met projectleiders, engineers, onderaannemers en het klantenteam, zowel op kantoor, thuis als op locatie bij de klant.
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen en bewaken van kostencalculaties voor diverse elektrotechnische projecten. Deze projecten variëren van kleine aanpassingen tot grote renovaties bij diverse opdrachtgevers. Hierbij kan je denken aan ziekhuizen, kantoorpanden, militaire kazernes, industriële complexen en scholen
Je werk is dynamisch en verandert dagelijks, afhankelijk van de specifieke projecten en taken die op je pad komen. Zo stel je kostencalculaties en budgetten op voor elektrotechnische projecten, voer je risicoanalyses uit en adviseer je over kostenbesparende maatregelen. Daarnaast monitor je de voortgang van projecten en stem je af met de projectleider. Je ondersteunt bij aanbestedingen en offertes, en biedt hulp bij de pre-engineering tijdens de tenderfase.
