En tant que Technicien·ne moteur, vous serez formé·e en tant que spécialiste de moteurs de groupe de secours diesel dans votre région :

• vous effectuez des interventions sur des moteurs diesel (travaux de maintenance, révisions, pannes, IBN)
• vous vous occupez du suivi technique et faites d'éventuelles propositions d'amélioration
• en cas de dysfonctionnements, vous recherchez la cause du problème et le résolvez
• vous participez à des projets de conversion ou d'amélioration d'installations
• vous suivez toujours les réglementations du système qualité

Avez-vous les atouts suivants ?

• vous êtes titulaire d'un diplôme technique en électricité, mécanique automobile ou égal
• vous avez 2 ou 3 années d’expériences dans les moteurs diesel
• la passion pour les moteurs diesel est une exigence, les connaissances/expériences sont toujours un plus
• vous respectez toujours les règles de sécurité
• vous êtes désireux d’apprendre et motivé
• vous souhaitez en savoir plus et êtes prêt à suivre la formation nécessaire pour cela
• vous pouvez travailler de manière indépendante et avoir une attitude orientée client
• vous disposez d'un permis de conduire B et n'avez aucun problème à vous rendre chez différents clients en Wallonie et en région bruxelloise
• vous parlez couramment le français, la connaissance du néerlandais est un plus

Static Technical Operative - Mechanical

Equans is looking for a Static Technical Operative (Mechanical) to join our team in Strand, Holborn for our HMCTS contract on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:
To work as a Mechanical engineer with electrical qualification. This Role is to provide both reactive and planned maintenance task as well as replacements though minor works and lifecycle. The role is to maintain the HVAC systems. To manage the sites BMS. And to over see daily operational of cooling towers. 

Qualifications
Desirable to have an NVQ (or similar) in electrical and Mechanical studies.
Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. 
Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding planned and reactive activities and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
To develop a good working relationship with all members of Equans staff, subcontractors and the client representatives.
Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To always include the wearing of uniform and PPE.
Ensure the professional image of Equans is presented to clients at all times
Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of Equans are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site carrying out associated with electrical and all FM related tasks. 
To arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
To undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
Ensure CAFM system, e.g. Maximo, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
To carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
The position will require you to provide support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.

Client / Customer
•Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests
•Production of information for quotations
 
Helpdesk - PPM 
•Support the Helpdesk as required when reporting or updating planned and reactive activities
•Be available for out of hours call-out support for the contract if required

Compliance 
•To gain Technical Appointments as required e.g. LVCP and Water Hygiene CP to permit Lamp changing and L8 activities e.g. tap flushing  
•Produce Condition / Dilapidation Reports as required for fabric assets
•Ensure supervisor is informed immediately if dangerous circumstances occur

SHEQ
•Comply with requests for information from SHEQ manager
•Ensure you work to company health and safety policy
•Ensue PPE is safe to use
•Report accident and near misses in a timely manner
•Ensure your test equipment is within calibration 
•Ensure you follow Method Statements & Risk Assessments for all works

Impact: 
Working to high standard of service, we require a fully reliable and competent Handyman/Fabric Tech who can work on own initiative, within a team or oversee subcontractor’s, producing good quality reports on their findings and work. The role will involve being the face of EQUANS so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others including customers is required.

Complexity:  
The successful candidate will have the ability to work unaided and build rapports with end users and customers, promoting EQUANS’ values. 
Have an excellent knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and/or painting/decorating techniques.
Have an eye for detail and be conscious of quality standards.

Qualifications or Required Experience:  
Qualifications and experience 
• Recognized Mechanical qualifications essential. 
• Recognised Electrical engineering qualification essential.
• 18th Edition wiring Regs. essential
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Desirable)
• Obtain AP status within 3 months (EQUANS LV and Mechanical rules)
• First Aid at Work.
• Experienced fault-finding skills in BMS, LTHW systems, CLTHW systems, pumps, motors, HVAC, LV power systems, 
• Experience in working with Cooling towers (Desirable) 
• IPAF Certificated for 3a & 3b machines (Desirable)
• Experience in fault finding of BMS
• An understanding of the L8 ACOP 
• A robust understanding of Health and Safety is required.
• Knowledge of the Permit to Work system & experience issuing PTW (Desirable).
• To maintain effective communication with the customers at site level
• Always ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
• To carry out any other reasonable tasks that may be required to support the account and the business in general.
• Be able to manage and prioritise the workload.
• Ensure compliance with contract KPIs and SLAs with the support of the Engineering Supervisor.
• Participation in the account out of hours call out service on a rota basis.
