What will you deliver?

  • Construct and install wooden frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames 
  • Fit and repair wooden structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, and skirting boards
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools
  • Assemble furniture, cabinets, and other wooden items as required
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on existing wooden structures
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

Commercial Manager


Equans are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team in Belfast on a permanent basis. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Demonstrate a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and work as part of the Project Delivery Team in early review of techniques and solutions to meet the business and customer objectives
  • Early identification of business risks in projects throughout their lifecycle, from pre-contract to close out, and ensure that risk management, risk registers and contingencies are in place to manage and minimise the risks
  • Work with the Supply Chain to promote and measure continuous improvement in the profitability, costs, quality and learning of all parties, whilst fairly allocating risks and rewards

Helpdesk Operator


EQUANS is looking for a Helpdesk Operator to join our team based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 35 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, shift allowance and benefits package. 

 

Reporting to the Workflow Supervisor and will be responsible for receiving, logging, and updating Workflow requests, whilst ensuring that the operation supports and complies with the Birmingham New Hospitals Project Contract specification. The successful candidate will also plan and dispatch all work that is logged on the Helpdesk.

The Helpdesk Operators play a Crucial role within the Birmingham Hospitals project, they are responsible for planning and dispatch all work that comes through the helpdesk and will be the first point of contact for all Customers requesting repairs for any service we provide.

Please note shift patterns before applying: 10 hour shifts Four on Four off comprised of 0700-1700,1100-2100 & 2100-0700.

What will you deliver? 

    • Input & prioritisation of Service Requests from Users via verbal and electronic methods.
    • Dispatching of Reactive Work Orders.

    • Preparation and issue of Planned Maintenance Work Orders.
    • Closing down of Planned Maintenance Work Orders.
    • Assist in the maintenance of Workflow records & filing system.

    • Input and retrieve data efficiently and accurately on a daily basis using the computerised systems within Helpdesk, producing information and reports as and when required.
    • Purchase Requisition and Ordering processing for materials and Subcontractors.
    • Control & monitor flow of all job requests.
    • Provide administrative support in keeping records (sickness/holiday absences, works, inspections, audits, etc.) producing reports and general office administration.
    • Act as first point of contact for internal and external parties providing information on departmental procedures where appropriate.
    • Provide cover for colleagues during sickness, annual leave etc.
    • Attend and participate in Training courses as required and to undertake any training in the future as may be required to ensure the duties of the post are effectively carried out.
    • Familiarisation of the Operation and Site.

HR Data Administrator


EQUANS is looking for a HR Data Administrator to join our team based at our office in Quorum Business Park on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver? 

    • Monitor and maintain the organisation hierarchy in Employee Services systems, ensuring line management and costing structures are aligned with current business structure.
    • Work with Employee Services Team Leads to ensure appropriate audit controls are in place, meeting EQUANS standards.
    • Coordinate the contractor process to ensure key data is captured in SAP.
    • Co-ordinate the Cost Distribution Process, working closely with the SSC Finance Team and Finance Business Partners to ensure that all costs are updated in SAP in time for the Payroll run.
    • Co-ordinate, build, test and communicate UKBU HR Operations reporting from SAP using Query Manager or SAP Ad-Hoc reporter; demonstrating subject matter expertise in such systems to train others in their use, schedule patch uploads and co-ordinate any post patch regression testing. 
    • Co-ordinate the authorisations process within Employee Services systems, ensuring employees have the appropriate and relevant access rights within the boundaries of Data Protection.
    • Work with the Business Change team to ensure contract mobilisations and demobilisations are updated in Employee Services systems in a timely manner.
    • Co-ordinate the month end Payroll Controls process to ensure timely payments are made to third parties and liaise with third parties in relation to the breakdown of such payments.  
    • Provide support to the Team on Winshuttle activities such as building scripts and loading/verifying data. 
    • Lead the Annual Leave & Annual Salary Review upload processes, ensuring timely accurate delivery.
    • Appreciation of National Minimum Wage legislation and the impact on employees pay during the processing of National Minimum Wage uplifts. 
    • Ability to calculate salary and allowance payments when processing Annual Salary Reviews and Gender Pay Gap reporting. 
    • Co-ordinate audit activity for own work area, with timely monthly sign off.
    • Co-ordinate annual and monthly MI to ensure the business can make informed decisions. Identify and actively research options for digitalisation and improvements to current processes in line with EQUANS strategy.

Second Line IT Field Engineer - Mobile


Equans is looking for a Second Line IT Field Engineer - Mobile to join our team in South East London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

As the face of IT to the business, the successful candidate will be required to resolve IT issues with a focus on customer satisfaction, whilst minimising downtime; in addition, other teams in IT will require your eyes, ears, expertise and site knowledge to ensure that day-to-day operation continues smoothly.

Field Engineers are responsible for keeping our users going, at our offices where there is no dedicated IT staff member. They take a personal approach to each ticket and work with the affected users to understand the impact of their issue and prioritise accordingly.

The role is customer site based so travel around the designated area will be expected, while adhering to company health and safety measures and advice.

What will you deliver?

  • Onsite and remote ticket completion with excellent customer service skills
  • Ensure timely completion of tickets that have been passed from the Service Desk
  • Liaising with other support teams for additional expertise where needed
  • Knowledge sharing and participation to ensure the team deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Assist with the requirements of other teams within the IT function
  • Act as on-site resource for project work, assisting with troubleshooting on-site network hardware, and providing an expert contact for technical or logistical queries from our colleagues across IT.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in a previous IT role is required, and for the right candidate this role can function as a step-up into a second line role, with the opportunity for skillset growth through on-the-job learning and access to online training platforms.
  • Beneficial technical skills include a good knowledge of desktop/laptop/mobile technologies and best practice (Windows, Android and iOS); a fundamental understanding of network infrastructure, configuration and operation; AD and AAD administration, and a very strong grasp of Office 365 to assist users with their issues and also to help them maximise their use of the systems available.

Equans is looking for a Static Site Supervisor to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

Harwell is Moderna new Innovation and Technology Centre (MITC) site which is responsible for the development and manufacture of its pharmaceutical products. The site consists of manufacturing, clean rooms, laboratory, office and plant rooms. The nature of their business requires their Lab and manufacturing areas to meet clean room standards. The maintenance of their HVAC equipment is of the upmost importance to ensure their production and science always remains operational.

As Equans representative and first point of contact with the Client, the importance of this role cannot be overestimated. It is essential that all works are carried in a cost effective, timely manner, maximising revenue, where possible.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage the site’s engineer team and ensure PPM targets are met on a monthly basis, as well as, ensure the site remains statutory complaint and critical infrastructure remains operational.

What will you deliver?

  • Manage both customer and team expectations
  • Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests and coordinate quotations Provide monthly reports if and when required and attend client meetings and close down audit reports and actions
  • Review Engineering Job Sheets in timely manner for accuracy, legibility & remedial works
  • Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the PDA to log start/wait/stop completion and travel times with appropriate comments to evidence completion of work
  • Update customers CAFM system in real time with start/wait/stop completion times and provide full description of works undertaken, advising of any follow-on works required
  • Ensure reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. Identify and record all plant failures using quotation forms and issue to line manager. This is to be indicated and recorded within the CAFM system
  • Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order. In accordance with the delegated authority with the applicable contract or authorised by the client
  • To undertake electrical test and inspection of electrical systems
  • Carryout regular site audits
  • To attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs). Take part in the on-call rota
  • Ensure toolbox talks are carried out
  • Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance

Who are we looking for?

  • Exécuter les tâches de montage mécanique, électrique et frigorifique confiées par le chef d’atelier.
  • Effectuer des contrôles sur demande du chef d’atelier : prise de côtes, approvisionnements et fin de montage.
  • Effectuer des opérations de manutention.
  • Renseigner les documents de fabrication : documents de suivi, PV de contrôle.

Votre profil :

Rattaché au gestionnaire de parc engins, vous réalisez la maintenance, l’entretien et le contrôle de nos engins de chantiers ferroviaires.

Vous avez principalement en charge :

  • L’entretien, la réparation (maintenance préventive et curative) et le contrôle des engins ferroviaires ou rail-route de l’agence caténaire,
  • Vous intervenez sur nos chantiers en grand déplacement, pour des intervention préventives ou curatives, de jour ou de nuit.
  • A l’issue de vos interventions, vous complétez des fiches d’interventions et remontez les éventuelles anomalies détectées.
  • Vous avez la responsabilité de remettre en route les engins en toute sécurité pour les utilisateurs et pour le réseau ferroviaire.
