Equans is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The post holder will very much be involved with the maintenance and minor works service covering a wide and varied range of mechanical equipment servicing large industrial units such as dual fired boilers and heating and ventilation distribution equipment.
What will you deliver?
- Undertake fault finding on complex medical gas systems, MTHW /LTHW pressure heating water systems, critical systems and equipment and pressurised steam systems
- Using cause effect analysis and detailed examination to gain a solution and use of all relevant drawings and schematics
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, commissioning and testing in accordance with published procedures, completing all report sheets and test certificates as necessary and mark up any drawing alterations
- Use of all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works ensuring full compliance with EQUANS Guidelines and Controls e.g. Risk Assessment, Site Safety, Fire Safety, Control of Infection and Hazardous Substances
- Work involves the use of analytical test devices, specialist tools, workshop fixed equipment, portable electrical equipment, welding equipment, emergency generators, medical gas equipment (patient use) suction units, geared drives

EQUANS are recruiting for a Fitter / Plumber to be based at the Queen Alexandra Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. What will you deliver?
- Support the Estates Management in the provision of a 24hr maintenance Service within the Portsmouth Hospital Trust for the service provider.
- Undertake any training as required
- Promote a culture of customer service to both internal and external customers and partners and to liaise with other departments regarding maintenance issues if required
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks and duties relevant to the post
- After suitable training and guidance diagnose faults, repair, and maintain complex equipment in accordance with Health Technical Memorandum (HTM’s) and other specialised hospital equipment.
- Carry out the work of other trades where there is an interface to the work in hand with a level of competence that is outside core trade.
- To carry a radio or pager to facilitate immediate response.
- Work in highly unpleasant working conditions, unblocking drains and sewers, which include biological hazards of body fluids and noxious fumes.
- To work safely on steam and hot water systems
- To always observe statutory and other relevant requirements those relating to the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations and Electrical IEE regulations.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Administrator to join our facilities team working on our Greater Manchester Police maintenance contract based at Eccles police station providing administrative support to various police stations across Greater Manchester. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
The role:
- Reporting to the Business Performance Manager
- To provide effective and efficient administrative compliance support for the contract
- Identify client requirements through telephone, CAFM Helpdesk system, and e-mail communications.
- Raise and manage to completion PPM and reactive work orders in the CAFM System to deliver KPIs.
- Produce quotations, chase approvals and arrange for work to be carried out via raising purchase orders to subcontractors and arranging for access to the Site.
- To prepare reports and documents as required and maintain confidentiality at all times
- To work along site the management team to provide support as required on the contract
The person:
- Experience in a similar role providing effective administration support
- Knowledge of Maximo database or similar CAFM system an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to work as both part of a team and autonomously
- Must have good IT skills (able to use Microsoft Office and management systems)
- Experience of production and maintenance of reporting
- Well organised and able to prioritise workload

Profil
De formation de type CAP/BEP à BAC Pro Serrurier et disposant d'une expérience de 2 ans minimum sur un poste de Serrurier idéalement dans le secteur industriel.
Maîtriser la coupe Oxyacéthylénique et la soudure à l’arc procédé TIG serait également un plus.
Les déplacements sont fréquents en Normandie, et occasionnels en France.
Doté de fortes compétences techniques, vous êtes autonome et reconnu pour votre rigueur et votre esprit d’équipe.

Votre profil :
De formation Bac pro à CAP/BEP en génie électrique, vous avez entre 4 à 5 ans d’expérience en électricité CFO-CFA. Vous disposez également de connaissances en électricité et en lecture de plans sur des installations d’équipement courants faibles et forts.

Vos missions principales : Effectuer des travaux sur des réseaux aérien BT (hors et sous tension) et HTA ainsi que des raccordement BT Sout et EME(Hors et sous tension) et HTA (J3UP D3UP et Poste HTA/BT)
- Préparation du chantier : Mise en place des balisages, dispositifs de sécurité et signalisation pour garantir la sécurité des équipes et des usagers.
- Contrôle et raccordements électriques : Installation et raccordement des équipements : armoires électriques, coffrets de protection, boîtes de jonction,…
- Réalisation des travaux : construction, entretien et rénovation de réseaux électriques aériens et souterrains (basse et haute tension).
- Travaux de réseaux électriques aériens et souterrains : Installation de supports aériens (poteaux en bois, béton ou métal) : fixation, scellement et alignement des mâts. Déploiement et déroulage des câbles aériens. Réalisation des jonctions, raccordements et isolations sur des lignes basse et haute tension. Pose des gaines et câbles souterrains (basse et haute tension).
- Interventions sur les infrastructures existantes : maintenance, réparation et mise aux normes.
- Raccordements électriques : armoires, coffrets, boîtes de raccordement, etc.
- Petits travaux de génie civil : tranchées, pose de fourreaux, massifs, réfection, réservations,…
- Sécurité : garantir la conformité des travaux réalisés en respectant les normes de sécurité.
- Collaboration et innovation : travail en équipe pour mener à bien les projets dans le respect des délais et de la qualité. Vous êtes amené(e) à proposer des innovations et/ou participer à des prototypages, expérimentations ou améliorations de savoir-faire
Vos atouts pour réussir :
- Vous êtes titulaire d’un CAP/BEP à Bac en Électricité ou Électrotechnique.
- Vous justifiez d’au moins 2 années d’expérience dans le domaine des réseaux électriques (travaux aériens et/ou souterrains).
- Vous êtes reconnu(e) pour votre rigueur, votre dynamisme, et votre capacité à travailler en équipe.
- Permis B indispensable (des déplacements dans la région sont à prévoir).
