Industrial Safety Manager


Equans is looking for an Industrial Safety Manager to join our team at Sizewell on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

The role holder will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of the Safety strategy in line with the objectives and direction of the UKBU

What will you deliver?

  • Interpret the strategy in promotion of the Equans/EDF Industrial Safety, environment and quality model at an individual Station and within the wider Unitary EDF Safety framework, so that physical and emotional wellbeing is our most critical priority.
  • Work closely with the Industrial Safety Director and the Site Leadership Team outputs to contribute to development of a plan and strategy to improve safety performance and manage high potential risks related to the site.
  • Responsibility for the collation of monthly reports and policy/guidance/operating procedure development to support operational delivery of all health and safety programmes.
  • Ensure that the site under their responsibility operate to the highest standards of health and safety management through being responsible for the delivery of the BU SAFETY strategy and through engagement at all levels to ensure continuous improvement, world class performance and the development of a positive SAFETY culture.
  • Support RCA incident investigations: Ensuring sites are supported in the prompt closure of all actions related to these incidents.
  • Subject matter expert in key areas of Safety compliance for the contract, owning the procedure and associated documents for the area of expertise and enabling the operations team to have embedded SME’s

Who are we looking for?

  • NEBOSH Diploma level.
  • ISO9001 Internal Auditor Training
  • ISO14001 Internal Auditor Training and/or Environmental foundation management certification (IEMA/NEBOSH Equivalent)
  • Related work experience, including application of health and safety principles and practice in a waste/recycling, engineering, construction, industrial or logistics environment.
  • Working knowledge of UK and EU safety and environmental regulations
  • Working knowledge & management of ISO45001,9001,14001 standards
  • Experience in radiological / nuclear environments
  • Proven background in high-risk chemical sites

  • COMAH  - Control of major accident Hazards

Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team at West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, from 0800 to 1700, Mon to Fri.

 

The role:

  • Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • To provide technical engineering support within the Hard FM Services department by carrying out preventative maintenance to deadline plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities
  • To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI’s
  • To manage sub-contractors as necessary working to a safe system of work and permit-to-work system
  • To undertake AP/RP duties for the disciplines for which you have been appointed
  • Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a requirement to participate in the out of hours on call rota and be able to respond/attend site within one hour of the call

The person:

  • Must hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience
  • Previous supervisory and mentoring experience essential
  • Experience in building services maintenance is essential
  • Willingness to attain cross skilling and IT Literate
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills
  • Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems
  • Experience in a Healthcare environment an advantage
  • Must have a good understanding of health & safety best practice; formal training an advantage

Junior Werkvoorbereider


Elke dag een nieuwe dag op de campus van Equans@ASML en binnen de afdeling Projecten hebben wij een interessante vacature voor een junior. Je bent samen met je team verantwoordelijk voor de werkvoorbereiding binnen bestaande bouw, denk aan uitbreiding of aanpassingen. Maar ook buiten ASML hebben wij interessante projecten waar je op ingezet kan worden.

JUNIOR WERKVOORBEREIDER Klantlocatie; ASML in Veldhoven en overige projecten in het zuiden van het land.

Dit ga je doen als Werkvoorbereider

Als Werkvoorbereider bij Equans leiden we je stap voor stap op binnen onze projectenafdeling. Tijdens de realisatie van een project ben jij de copiloot van één van onze Senior Werkvoorbereiders. Met een vaste begeleider/coach als vraagbaak bieden we je zo volop mogelijkheden om te ontdekken wat je leuk vindt en waar je kracht ligt. Zo zorg je, samen met je collega’s, voor een optimale technische/ organisatorische voorbereiding en begeleiding van één of meerdere (kleine) projecten. Dit doe je door alle relevante informatie te verzamelen en analyseer je problemen en bespreek je deze binnen het team. Dit is het moment waarop je je plan- en organisatietalent laat zien door de juiste prioriteiten te stellen. Vervolgens ga je puzzelen om de planning, van activiteiten, mensen en middelen te verzorgen.

Verandering is hierbij aan de orde van de dag. Zo kan één telefoontje de zojuist gemaakte planning doen veranderen. Natuurlijk laat jij je hierdoor niet uit het veld slaan en ben je hier al op voorbereid. Zo ontstaat en geen onnodige vertraging voor onze klant zodat uiteindelijk kosten worden geminimaliseerd en de kwaliteit optimaal blijft. Je bent continue met je collega’s en met externe partijen in de weer. Iedere dag krijg je te maken met werktuigbouwkundige en/of elektrotechnische gebouw- en proces gebonden installaties met een grote diversiteit aan verschillende technieken, zoals; luchtbehandeling, vacuüm, gassen, water, koeling, warmte, sterk- en zwakstroom installaties, toegang en beveiligingsinstallaties, brandmeldinstallaties, aarding, verlichting, etc.

Jouw werkdag is geslaagd als je kunt zeggen;

  • het was een uitdaging maar de bezetting en de materiaalplanning zijn weer op orde
  • de knelpunten om de materialen op tijd te krijgen hebben we samen opgelost
  • je proactieve handelen heeft het probleem verholpen met als resultaat een tevreden klant
  • collega’s gingen weer met een glimlach naar huis, trots op het verrichte werk, en jij dus ook

In deze doorgroeifunctie zal je niet alleen functioneel dagdagelijks begeleid worden, er wordt ook samen met jou gekeken naar jouw eigen persoonlijke ontwikkeling tot Werkvoorbereider. Uiteraard bieden wij ook trainingen aan die bijdragen aan jouw ontwikkeling. Denk hierbij aan communicatietrainingen, projectmanagement en persoonlijk leiderschap.

Junior Projectleider


Wil jij je graag ontwikkelen met uiteenlopende projecten? Equans biedt je die kans als projectleider, met opdrachten binnen bestaande bouw, zoals uitbreiding of aanpassingen. Dit kunnen projecten zijn op het terrein van ASML, of op andere locaties. Samen met je collega’s zet je altijd een mooi resultaat neer.

Dit ga je doen als Projectleider

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het tijdig, binnen (risico)richtlijnen en projectbudgetten realiseren van de overeengekomen projectresultaten. Je beoordeelt offertes op kwaliteit en haalbaarheid en je bent  actief betrokken bij de verbetering of aanscherping hiervan. Je pakt de verantwoordelijk voor de forecasting van (deel)projecten en zorgt dat projectplannen worden uitgewerkt in inzichtelijke, transparante en beheersbare processtappen.

Je zet een beheersbare projectorganisatie neer zetten met (kosten)efficiënte, effectieve en volledig op elkaar afgestemde werkprocessen. Daarbij herken je ook mogelijkheden om bestaande opdrachten uit te breiden. Gelukkig word je goed begeleid door meer ervaren collega’s!

VOTRE JOB

 

Sous la responsabilité d'un chef de chantier, vous participez aux chantiers menés par l'agence (Climatisation, Ventilation, chauffage et Plomberie)

Votre mission consiste à :

  • Réaliser les tracés pour l'emplacement des divers appareils et le passage de la tuyauterie,
  • Réaliser le montage de gaines et de matériels aérauliques et hydrauliques
  • Installer, assembler les tuyauteries (Acier - Inox - Cuivre - Serti...)
  • Choisir et poser les supports
  • Veiller à l’application des procédures internes qualité, hygiène, santé-sécurité et environnement

Des déplacements en local sont à prévoir en fonction de nos chantiers.

VOTRE PROFIL

De formation CAP à BP en installation thermique, sanitaire, génie climatique ou équivalent, vous justifiez d'une première expérience significative de 5 à 10 ans minimum dans un poste similaire.

  • Vous avez de bonnes connaissances en aéraulique, CVC, hydraulique, fluides et plomberie.
  • Vous savez lire des plans, faire de la préfabrication de pièces, et vous maitrisez les techniques de soudage (chalumeau et TIG).
  • Rigoureux et appliqué, vous respecterez les règles de sécurité dans chacune de vos interventions.

Devenez Opérateur·e GTC chez EQUANS et jouez un rôle essentiel en assurant le bon fonctionnement des systèmes critiques, grâce à la télégestion avancée. Depuis votre shift, permettant à votre équipe d’assurer un service 24h/24, vous pilotez, optimisez et anticipez les interventions techniques sur place en temps réel. Cela vous offre à la fois une vision globale et une expertise de proximité, et donc une combinaison unique de l’informatique et de la technique au cœur des technologies de demain.

Zoom sur la fonction ↡

Depuis notre système de télégestion (BMS/GTC), vous avez une vue globale des installations d’électricité et d’HVAC, vérifiez leur état, analysez les alertes, et optimisez les opérations pour réduire la consommation énergétique.

Concrètement, votre mission inclut :

  • optimiser la conduite des installations en vue d’économies d’énergie
  • vérifier et calibrer capteurs et servomoteurs
  • dispatcher et guider efficacement à distance les interventions pour remonter à la source des pannes
  • maintenir un journal d’incident précis et complet
  • intervenir directement pour gérer les petites urgences nocturnes

A distance, vous devenez donc le partenaire essentiel des technicien·nes de terrain en leur donnant les informations critiques (leur permettant de résoudre déjà 50 % de chaque problème).

  • un diplôme de bachelier (en automation, électromécanique, ou HVAC) avec les attestations BA4-BA5
  • de l'expérience de 3 ans minimum en BMS/GTC, avec des connaissances en :

Mechanical Building Services Engineer


Equans is a renowned energies & services contractor and a proud member of the Bouygues global industrial group. Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with solid mechanical maintenance experience to join our estates team at the John Radcliffe hospital  in Oxford.  This is a permanent full-time position working from 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. 

Key activities

  • Reporting to the Technical Services Manager
  • Act as Lead Technician for the site providing a thorough understanding of mechanical ventilation building services installation and maintenance techniques, including Medical Gas and F Gas.
  • Apply trade skills and experience, including one to one training to members of the team.
  • Ensure the satisfactory completion of statutory obligations and the completion of allocated maintenance, breakdown repairs, installation, new and refurbishment works, all within the SLA and KPI’s applied to site.  
  • To be an Authorised Person for up to three disciplines.
  • Carry out maintenance/repair on mechanical ventilation services to plant and equipment across the site, including supervising both in-house staff and contractors
  • Carry out refurbishments and new works across the site all within KPI and SLA targets
  • Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm with a requirement for participation in the on call rota

Skills, qualifications & experience

  • Must hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience;
  • Must have a proven track record within maintenance / hard services
  • Must be strongly Client focussed and able to take ownership of projects
  • Must have good IT skills with experience in the use of CAFM systems, word and excel
  • Subject to a DBS Check
