General Overview
To carry out the duties as a Roofer in accordance with Statutory Regulations, Company policies and Procedures. To assist the Team in producing a quality product meeting the requirements of the contract and in a safe manner. Adhere to all requirements set by SHEQ team, policy, and strategy.
Key Accountabilities
- Carry out various Roofing tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company including:
- Tiled Roofs
- Slated Roofs
- Flat Roofs
- Leadwork – flashings etc
- Pointing Valleys and verges
- Brickwork repairs
- Chimneys and pots
- Working Safely at Height
- Assist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including:
- Compliance with specification
- Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules
- High quality Customer Care must always act in a polite and professional manor.
- Maintain and care for all company tools.
- 1st time fix to be achieved wherever possible.
- To use appropriate safety equipment
- To wear appropriate clothing / uniform
- To ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day.
- To be responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with the company car policy.
- To be responsible for holding keys for communal entrances, meter cupboards and allow access where appropriate.
- Liaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc.
- Material co-ordination
- Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant documentation required on the contract.

Gas Engineer
EQUANS are recruiting for a Gas Engineer to be based in Oldham. This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £37,793, van & fuel card and benefits package. (This will rise to £41,305.67 from 1st April 2025)
General Overview
To carry out the duties as a Gas Engineer in accordance with Statutory Regulations, Company policies and Procedures. To assist the Team in producing a quality product meeting the requirements of the contract and in a safe manner. Adhere to all requirements set by SHEQ team, policy, and strategy.
Ability to carry out servicing of gas appliances including boilers, fires, and cookers in a timely and safe manor. To carry out general breakdowns and have the ability diagnose and repair to achieve 1st time fix. Be part of an on-call Rota to cover Out of Hours breakdowns as required.

Principal Consultant, Energy & Carbon
EQUANS is looking for a Principal Consultant to join our team on a full time, permanent and hybrid basis. The candidate can be based anywhere in Britain, however they must be willing to go to either Manchester or London for Team meetings. Accountabilities
- Supporting effective team and project management, including project completion timelines, project costs and profitability, and ensuring client needs are met
- Delivering technical reports and energy audits as part of the solution development process

Deep technical knowledge of implementing energy solutions, and a firm understanding of building, commercial or industrial and manufacturing engineering services
- Energy related engineering or applied science degree

Dit ga je doen als Servicetechnicus Werktuigbouwkunde
In deze functie werk je o.a. aan vervangingsvraagstukken, verduurzamingsprojecten en storingen welke voortvloeien uit het contract. Daarom heb je een brede interesse in de techniek, hou je van aanpakken en draag je zorg voor een veilige werkomgeving.
Als Servicetechnicus Werktuigbouwkunde ben jij een belangrijke schakel in het contact met onze klant en houd jij je bezig met de onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan gebouw gebonden. (werktuigbouwkundige) installaties. Jij bent dé specialist die kan meedenken en schakelt snel. Samen met jouw collega’s, professionals binnen verschillende disciplines, vorm je een hecht team.
Jouw werkzaamheden bestaan o.a. uit:
- het uitvoeren van gepland onderhoud aan HVAC installaties
- het oplossen van storingen aan complexe- en reguliere installaties
- door jouw kennis van de installaties ken je de installaties van top tot teen en ben je in staat om zelfstandig afwijkingen te signaleren en oplossingen aan te dragen
- zorgdragen voor de juiste materialen en gereedschappen, zodat je optimaal kunt werken
- het maken van een heldere rapportage van de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden
Dit breng je mee
- een afgeronde MBO opleiding richting Werktuigbouwkunde of vergelijkbaar

Monteur KSW Elektrotechniek
Wij zijn op zoek naar een monteur elektrotechniek voor onze afdeling Services, specifiek voor het Klussenteam (KSW)! Dit ga je doen als monteur elektrotechniek
Als monteur elektrotechniek zul je te maken krijgen met onderhouds- en renovatieprojecten. Deze werkzaamheden zijn, onder andere, het voeren van onderhoudsprojecten van alle panden, kantoren en werkplaatsen. Het is bepaald geen kleine opdracht, maar inmiddels kunnen de eerste successen worden genoteerd.
Bij alles wat je doet haal jij het beste uit jezelf. Dus, naast bovenstaand, ook bij:
- het verrichten van renovatie- en projectwerkzaamheden
- het verrichten van onderhoudswerkzaamheden zoals afgesproken met de klant
- het opsporen, analyseren en verhelpen van storingen op elektrotechnisch gebied
- het opstellen en bijhouden van onderhoudsrapportages en werkrapporten
- het tijdig signaleren van eventuele problemen en het uitbrengen van advies richting de klant in samenspraak met de contractmanager en/of werkvoorbereider
Jouw werkomgeving
Equans helpt klanten in het realiseren en versnellen van de 3 grote transities: de energie --, digitale en industriële transitie. We zijn wereldleider in de technische dienstverlening en maakt onderdeel uit van de internationale en beursgenoteerde Bouygues groep. Onze afdeling Services bestaat uit het Klussenteam (KSW) en het Onderhoud & Services team. Waar het Onderhoud & Services team zich focust op het uitvoeren van preventief- en correctief onderhoud middels de onderhoudscontracten, focust het Klussenteam zich op kleinschalig project werk bij onze klanten voortkomend uit de onderhoudscontracten. Voor dit Klussenteam zijn wij nu op zoek naar uitbreiding.

- een afgeronde Mbo niveau 4 opleiding richting Elektrotechniek of je bent vanuit Mbo niveau 3 doorgegroeid
- ervaring in het onderhouden en renoveren van elektrotechnische installaties
- woonachtig in Noord-Brabant
Daarnaast voldoe je grotendeels aan onderstaande zaken:
- je bent in het bezit van een VCA-VOL en NEN 3140 certificaat
- je hebt de wil om onze klanten altijd een goede oplossing te bieden
- je bent stressbestendig en communicatief sterk
