At our Finance department in Brussels, your role as Credit Officer ensures that outstanding invoices don’t turn into open questions. You keep a close eye on payments, dive into the numbers and communicate clearly with both clients and colleagues. Your work is key to keeping our financial processes smooth and transparent.

What you’ll do as a Credit Officer:

• follow up on cash collection and accounts receivable for your client portfolio
• contact clients by phone and email to resolve payment issues
• collaborate with project leads and sales administration to handle invoicing questions
• keep customer files up to date with accurate contact details
• send reminders and notices of default, and prepare legal files in cooperation with our legal team
• assess customer creditworthiness (using Dun & Bradstreet) and identify financial risks
• monitor doubtful debt provisions and manage bankruptcy files
• maintain clear client account balances through active reconciliation and variance analysis
• contribute to ad hoc tasks and act as a backup for absent colleagues

What you bring to the table:

• a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• a team-oriented mindset
• an interest in a varied workload within a B2B environment
• solid knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; SAP or SharePoint is a plus
• a precise and independent work style, with strong prioritization skills
• excellent communication skills — you're confident picking up the phone to clients and colleagues
• fluency in Dutch and French; English is a welcome asset

Apprentice Resident Liaison Officer

Equans is looking for an Apprentice Resident Liaison Office (RLO) to join our team in Hatfield. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

As this is a social value-based role, applicants must be located in or very near the W10 (West London) area to be eligible.

The Apprentice Resident Liaison Officer serves as a vital link between the construction team and residents, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns promptly. This role involves being the primary point of contact for residents, facilitating smooth project execution, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The apprenticeship offers structured training, providing the ARLO with essential skills and insights into both the construction and customer service sectors.

What will you deliver?

Main Duties:

• Act as the main point of contact between residents and the construction team during projects.
• Communicate project updates, timelines, and potential disruptions clearly and effectively.
• Organise and support resident meetings, consultation events, and community engagement days.
• Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions and provide administrative support to the site team.
• Monitor on-site progress and resident concerns, escalating any issues where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with site managers, health & safety teams, and external stakeholders.
• Support the delivery of construction works in occupied housing environments with minimal disruption.
• Enrol in and complete a formal apprenticeship programme with regular reviews, mentoring, and training.

• IT Proficiency: Basic skills in IT, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).

Education and Qualifications 

• Academic Background: Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Driving Licence: Possession of a full, current, and valid UK driving licence
