Handyman

EQUANS is looking for a Handyman to work at Waterside Plaza in Manchester. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:
Reporting to the Facility Manager, the successful candidate will form part of a small team and will deliver PPM / Reactive tasks and small project works. There is a requirement to work weekends, a working rota will be provided.

Job Specification:
•Carry out day to day maintenance and reactive tasks relating to all the building and fabric assets.
•Be a first call response for leaks and blockages.
•Carry out a range of general maintenance tasks to include but not limited to changing lamps, replacing ceiling tiles, plumbing & joinery tasks.
•Ensure all jobs assigned are completed with SLA / KPI rectification times.
•Utilise PDA to provide updates on work orders, ensuring sufficient information provided.
•Proactively carrying out a daily regime of ‘find it fix it’ and report it to the helpdesk and ensure it is followed up and fixed within our service level agreement.
•Undertaking and recording statutory and planned maintenance duties to systems such as emergency lighting and fire alarm tests.
•Participate in emergency call outs.
•Sub-contractor management including inductions, review of RAMS and ensuring all permits and Safe Systems of Work are in place before work starts.
•Ability to manage a busy workload whilst maintaining high levels of service execution.
•Ensure risk assessments are completed and maintained for all tasks and all activities are undertaken within EQUANS Safe Systems of Work.
•Ensure all business specific SHEQ obligations are met, and procedures are adhered to
•Maintain a safe and tidy working area.
•Carry out installation works involved in minor upgrade and adaptation works.
•Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand and power tools in accordance with health and safety and manufacturers guidelines.
•Undertake training where necessary to maintain and develop the requirements of the service
•Communicate effectively with site teams and management.
•Embrace and adopt the EQUANS Safety First culture and policy.
•To participate in opening / closing of buildings if required.
•To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities required.

Qualifications or Required Experience:
Previous experience of fabric and plumbing works is essential.
C&G qualified or equivalent in joinery or plumbing services / maintenance
Demonstrate a good understanding and be technically competent in all building services

Have a good understanding of services within a building such as boilers, heating lighting and water management
Have good knowledge of health & safety

Invoice to Cash Administrator

EQUANS is looking for a Invoice to Cash Administrator to join our team based in Quorum Business Park on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

This role is responsible to ensure the timely and accurate allocation of cash, bank file uploads, completing GL reconciliations and managing cheque payments. You will create invoices and credit notes on behalf of the business in a timely and efficient way.

You will support the departments full master data processes through the administration of our system interfaces (ERP and bolt on solutions), new account creation, Credit Risk and reporting processes, ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency at all times.

What will you deliver?

Upload daily bank files.
Allocate payments received across the sales ledger via our third-party solution and manually.
Maintain and monitor suspense accounts to ensure all allocations are recorded accurately.
Assist in reconciliation of customer accounts.
Drive down outstanding unallocated cash by identifying root cause of problems.
Raise and send invoices and credit notes as per the approved business instruction, via our third-party solution where applicable.
Support the accurate creation and maintenance of master data in our ERP and third-party solution.
Support the production of department relevant reporting.
Support the testing and implementation of process improvements.
Support our Credit Risk processes.
Adhere to relevant department governance, policy & procedure documents.
Review tasks on a regular basis to ensure SLAs are adhered to.
Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of own area of responsibility.

Sustainability Compliance Officer

Equans is looking for a Sustainability Compliance Officer to join our team in Wath upon Dearne, on a permanent basis to support the Regional Sustainability Team in adhering to scheme delivery requirements in line with funding and accreditation requirements and maintaining the necessary associated accreditations.

This role will be responsible for collating, validating and preparing PAS 2030:2023 compliance paperwork to Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies on a weekly basis, operating within contractual deadlines to ensure compliance. This is a full-time role.

Quantity Surveyor

EQUANS are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in Oldham. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary up to £60,000, car allowance, bonus and benefits package.

General Overview

To take responsibility, ownership and accountability of the successful management and control all aspects of the commercial / financial and contractual elements of the designated project in order to control and maximise the company’s profitability, protect the companies legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to manage proactively the control of all commercial issues. This is to include ensuring applications and valuations are completed in line with the contract terms and also ensuring sub-contractors receive prompt payment and are procured in line with our contractual obligations and Commitments to Subcontractors. In addition, ensuring cost reports and the like are managed, completed on time and monitored. To understand, implement and adhere to the company SHEQ policy/strategy.

Key Accountabilities

Control all expenditure
Reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts
To assist the Contract Manager with pre-start planning and programming
Continual use of the sub-contract data base
Sub-contract procurement and commercial management
Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts
Change management control
Assisting and liaising with the buyers on materials procurement and buying opportunities
To manage the day to day cost control, monitoring and reporting
Develop an understanding of the designated contract, specification and pricing ensuring compliance with conditions throughout
Assist the Contract Manager with subcontractor selection and ensure the chosen subcontractor has the appropriate skill set and capability to deliver the works. Place the appropriate order and all required information to carry out their work
Liaise with the Contract Manager over contractual issues and take action as required
Measure progress, submit valuations, submit final accounts and retention release and monitor receipt of payment in a timely manner in accordance with the contracts
Process subcontractor requests for payment
Completing a monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for the designated projects
Where appropriate, assist with estimates and negotiations for future projects or phases
Attend project and company related meetings
Ensure the company is neither compromised nor disadvantaged by an contractual or financial arrangement
Manage the costs on a project to ensure both the company and the client is fully advised of the cost situation
Sufficiently manage the financial aspects of the project to ensure the correct safety equipment is used at all times

Ensure timely cash flow management for the Client and the group, and the supply change
Assisting the development and training of trainee and assistant surveyors

Afdeling Finance & Control

De afdeling Finance & Control is verantwoordelijk voor de efficiënte en effectieve financiële bedrijfsvoering van onze organisatie. Binnen het Finance team staan de projectcontrollers direct in contact met de project-, en contractmanagers en zijn zij het financiële geweten van onze projecten en contracten. Projectbegeleider

Het omzetten van kansen in opdrachten bij onze klanten voor de elektrotechnische servicewerkzaamheden. Klantbezoek, adviseren en uitvoeringswerkzaamheden begeleiden. De spil tussen de klant en de uitvoering.

Daarnaast ben je de vraagbaak voor onze servicetechnici bij het uitvoeren van hun werk. Jouw werkzaamheden vloeien voort vanuit o.a. de klanten; Florence en veiligheidsregio Haaglanden.

Dit ga je doen als Projectbegeleider Services Elektrotechniek

Binnen het team van Services Den Haag ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het voorbereiden, uitvoeren en opleveren van (service)projecten voor onze opdrachtgevers. Als Projectbegeleider Services Elektrotechniek heb je een verantwoordelijkheid naar de klant en naar de uitvoering. Je fungeert als vraagbak en als kennisspecialist. Je bent van A tot Z betrokken bij de projecten en echt onderdeel van het Serviceteam. Je houdt je bezig met kleine projectjes en met grotere projecten tot ongeveer 50k. Bij alles wat je doet haal jij het beste uit jezelf en het team.

Dus ook bij het:

aanvragen van diverse serviceprojecten van aanvraag tot oplevering
verzorgen van een optimale projectvoorbereiding op het gebied van planning, materiaal, werkmethode en inzet van medewerkers
aanvragen van offertes bij toeleveranciers
fungeren als vraagbaak voor de (service)technici
engineeren en het maken van een juiste calculatie/berekening
bijhouden van een juiste projectadministratie en sturen op afwijkingen

Vous serez intégré(e) au sein de la Direction des Affaires Sociales du Groupe, rattaché(e) au pôle juridique et relations sociales, en lien étroit avec les DRH opérationnels, les partenaires sociaux et au cœur des enjeux stratégiques avec des projets de transformation.

Vos missions :

Contribuer aux réflexions juridiques stratégiques sur les projets internes liés aux relations sociales
Réaliser une veille approfondie sur l’actualité législative, réglementaire et jurisprudentielle
