Part time Afternoon Cleaner
Equans is recruiting for a Part time Afternoon Cleaner to be based in Noel Baker Academy DE24 0BR, this is a permanent role working 15 hours per week. On offer is salary of £12.21 per hour and benefits package.
Shift Pattern:
49-week contract – 39 weeks = 15 hours a week Monday -Friday 15:30 -18:30
4 weeks set holiday
No holiday is to be taken during term time or when deep cleans are taken place – deep clean dates are given 1 year in advance which normally fall as below:
Deep clean 4 weeks a year
• February 1 week Monday – Friday 7am -11:30am
• April 1 week Monday – Friday 7am – 11:30am
• August 2 weeks Monday -Friday 7am -11:30am
What you will deliver
To carry out all work as requested.
• The Cleaning Operative will be expected to make sure that all their working areas in these premises are kept to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety and presentation.
• Report to Caretaker any maintenance issues that may arise.
• Be used to working under pressure, problem solve and to use their initiative when necessary
• Ensure to follow all company systems and processes.
• Observe the site rules and maintain a smart appearance and wearing the companies uniform at all times.
• Be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws or regulations to make certain that all company Health and Safety policies, procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure that instructions for the maintenance, cleaning and storage of equipment are always followed.
• Ensure cupboards are kept clean and locked when not in use.
• Be proactive and creative in improving current best working practises, while following the company safety procedures.
• Be prepared to perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Caretaker.
• Be willing to deal with individual customer requests in a polite and professional manner at all times to exceed the customer’s expectations.
For this role you must undergo an Enhanced DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Facilities Helpdesk Supervisor

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Helpdesk Supervisor to join our facilities team working at a prestigious central government building in Westminster. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day between 07:30 and 19:30, Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the Support Service Manager
- Supervise the Home Office Helpdesk Service, ensure adequate resources for service delivery, maintain manuals and service guides ensuring consistency, innovation and best practice, monitor and ensure the follow up on outstanding jobs, compliments/complaints both internally and with the Client
- Work as part of the Helpdesk team receiving calls, emails and walk in visitors, logging service requests on the FM work management system, booking resources (meeting rooms, hospitality, visitors) and responding to queries
- Manage staff performance, attendance and development for the helpdesk team
- Ensure delivery of consistently high standards of customer service, presenting a professional image to customers at all times
- Assist with the preparation of reports and documents

The person:
- Essential to have previous helpdesk/administration experience together with supervisory experience, including awareness of HR procedures

The Technician will have advanced technical knowledge in more than one skill or technology area.
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week.
-Ensure workload is planned, delivered to customer specification and agreed service requirement.
-Plan, prioritise and resource projects.
-Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations, and helping us to achieve our H&S targets.
-Diagnose, fault-find, commission systems and monitor facility performance, through PPM programme, identifying any additional works required.

-Assist with Lifecycle and major project schemes for pricing and refurbishment
-Purchase/source replacement materials to ensure stock levels remain sufficient.
-Support other Multi Skilled Technicians to enable all PPM’s/Reactive works to be completed
-Flexible working hours required.

-Understand and meet ongoing customer requirements, develop effective working relationships with business partners, suppliers and subcontractors

Mobile Electrician
Equans is looking for a Mobile Electrician to join our team. You will be based at Woodland View Hospital in Irvine 3 days per week and the remaining two will be based at Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow. This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will possess strong electrical maintenance knowledge and have completed a recognised apprenticeship. The role focuses on maintaining the safe and continuous operation of electrical supplies, building systems, plant, and equipment. You will be a part of a flexible maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of critical hospital systems in areas such as operating theatres, renal, and endoscopy departments.
What will you deliver?
- Adhere to Equans' safe operation standards, including working with Low Voltage, Mechanical, Pressure, Water, Medical Gas, and Confined Spaces systems.
- Follow the Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTMs) and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Perform both planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring timely resolution of issues to avoid contractual penalties.
- Create Method Statements and Risk Assessments for issuing Permits-to-Work.
- Perform tasks such as electrical system maintenance, emergency lighting checks, fire alarm tests, water and medical gas system upkeep, and pressure system maintenance.
- Complete all necessary reports, test certificates, and Task Assessment sheets both electronically and in hard copy.
- Work collaboratively with the Facilities Team Leader, assisting with equipment failures and organising the supply of goods/services as required.
- Participate in overtime work and an on-call rota to support maintenance activities.
- Travel to other sites as needed and liaise professionally with clients, particularly NHS personnel.

Who are we looking for?
- Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship with proven experience in electrical maintenance.
- Competency in building service systems, with a solid understanding of equipment operation.
- Experience in hospital maintenance is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, including Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM), is desirable.
- First Aid and CPR training within the last three years, or willingness to undergo training.
- Due to the nature of the contract successful candidate must be able to obtain a Basic Disclosure Scotland certificate.

Elektromonteur
Als monteur pak je alle soorten werkzaamheden op binnen je expertise op het gebied van beheer en onderhoud die voortvloeien uit contracten. Daarom heb je een brede interesse in de techniek, hou je van aanpakken en draag je zorg voor een veilige werkomgeving. Je werkzaamheden bestaan uit onder andere uit:
- zelfstandig onderhouden, inspecteren en het uitvoeren van reparaties aan (complexe) installaties
