Operation Manager BMS/GTC/PCC

En tant qu'Operation Manager BMS/GTC/PCC chez Equans, vous aurez l’opportunité de superviser des équipes et des installations à la pointe de la technologie.

Et concrètement ?

  • vous avez la gestion optimale des installations techniques :
    • maîtrise de tous les aspects techniques et qualité
    • définir, mettre en place et contrôler la politique de maintenance adaptée
    • veiller à l’amélioration des performances techniques
  • vous êtes le référent technique de votre équipe et de vos clients concernant les travaux, la maintenance curative/préventive et les défaillances sur votre périmètre
  • vous assurez la gestion journalière et le suivi budgétaire des contrats confiés
  • vous appliquez une gestion de proximité avec votre équipe. Vous êtes notamment en charge de l’organisation et de la dynamique de vos équipes techniques afin d’assurer la bonne exécution des contrats
  • vous veillez à la planification du travail des techniciens en collaboration avec vos chefs d’équipes, afin d’assurer le suivi des maintenances préventives et curatives
  • vous êtes attentif à l’application des exigences contractuelles (réalisation de plannings, autocontrôles, respect des délais, priorisations, etc.) : vous êtes l’interlocuteur principal du client

    • proposition de nouveaux contrats et d’avenants

    • vous vérifiez l’état de l’outillage et veillez au contrôle périodique des appareils légalement soumis au contrôle
    • vous analysez les accidents/incidents survenus sur votre chantier
  • vous assurez le reporting envers les clients, de même que le reporting interne et la présentation des rapports financiers & devis aux clients
  • vous veillez au bon développement de vos équipes :
    • motivation et encadrement
    • évaluation des besoins des équipes
    • gestion de la formation et de l’information technique des équipes
    • évaluation du personnel

Sommes-nous un « match » ?

  • vous disposez d’un diplôme master en électromécanique, électricité ou équivalent

  • vous avez de l’expérience en gestion de grandes équipes (15+ personnes) avec un volet financier

Procurement Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join our procurement team based in our office in Bootle at the Merseyside Fire & Rescue Services HQ. This is a full-time position offering hybrid working (3 days office/site based with 2 days from home) working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08:45 to 17:45.  

Key activities 

  • Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager
  • Deliver consistent and professional Procurement services to internal customers, especially in the North Region
  • Outsource, tender and negotiate supply agreements and service contracts
  • Work with key stakeholders in the business to ensure a full understanding of the need and ensure a robust supply chain solution
  • Key Category analysis to enable to carry out tenders efficiently and develop expertise on the dedicated categories (by following the 7 key steps of Category Management)
  • Preparing tenders for standard contracts with suppliers / subcontractors,
  • Developing tender analysis and presenting reports and recommendations to senior management
  • To carry out reviews with Suppliers and Subcontractors on their performance and monitor it
  • To ensure a service delivery of suppliers/subcontractors in line with our negotiated contracts ensure a service delivery of suppliers/subcontractors in line with our negotiated contracts
  • To provide Procurement advice to the wider Procurement, Operations & Project teams relating to their Category ownership
  • To coach/share knowledge with other members of the Procurement team 

Skills, experience, and qualifications

  • Educated to degree/ diploma level (or working towards) in either Procurement, Business, Law, Surveying, Accounting etc.
  • Suitable procurement, commercial and/or financial / accounting or QS experience within a similar industry sector 
  • Experience of similar multi-stakeholder organisations/roles
  • Experience in a supply chain management role is essential
  • Be able to demonstrate understanding & knowledge of operational Purchasing & Supply practice, policies & procedures in a similar role
  • Good level of numeracy with experience in cost analysis
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience of tendering and contracting practices
  • MCIPS qualifications (or working towards) is desirable

Solar Power Project Manager

We have a temporary 18 MONTH Fixed Term Contract Project Manager to oversee major renewable EPC projects across the UK.  We design, install, commission and operate large scale solar PV farms for our clients. Supplying renewable energy from solar power plants enables local communities to reduce costs and reduce their carbon footprint.

Alongside our solar farm projects we are involved in delivering a wide range of energy solutions to secure a more sustainable future.

Key Activities:

  • Ensuring that all work is carried out to contract specifications with regard to the quality of work, time scales, costs and is authorised and documented in accordance with company procedures

  • Experience in reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes
  • Previous exposure to H&S, budget and programme responsibility
  • Qualified at HNC level; relevant industry training (SMSTS, CDM, IOSH)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with client, supply chain and employees
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to multi-task 
  • Flexible approach to working, willing to travel; full driving licence

Mechanical Craftsperson


Equans is looking for a Mechanical Craftsperson (Water) to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £28,000 - £31,000 per annum dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Undertake the water system planned preventive maintenance, testing, breakdown maintenance and other maintenance related activities to the Estate
  • The responsibilities will mainly be at the Acute Hospital but may also include duties at the Retained Estate and Mental Health unit
  • Perform the complete range of Mechanical Craftsperson (Water) tasks as required or directed by management
  • Be knowledgeable of and to work to the current regulations, codes of practice, Health & Safety regulations, and all safety rules both Equans and Statutory
  • Have a knowledge of water systems within a commercial/healthcare environment and maintenance/ testing activities
  • Have a knowledge of Legionella and other water pathogens
  • Have a knowledge of water storage tank cleaning and disinfection
  • Undertake temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and disinfection, Tank visual inspections, water samples, calorifier visual inspections, TMV servicing, to name a few
  • Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to own trade, without supervision
  • Ensure all PPM work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions

Summary 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Planner with expertise in Building Automation Systems (BAS) to support the operational excellence of our global pharmaceutical facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the management of BAS systems across our network of facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure these critical systems are fully operational, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with the company’s objectives for sustainability, efficiency, and quality.

Description 

Key responsibilities:

Planning and Scheduling

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed technical plans and schedules for global manufacturing and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure alignment of technical schedules with production timelines, project milestones, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and adjust plans based on changing priorities, resource availability, and unexpected disruptions.
  • Ensure BAS systems align with pharmaceutical standards, including GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee scheduling of BAS system upgrades, maintenance, and performance testing to minimize downtime

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Collaborate with global teams, including engineering, operations, and quality assurance, to gather inputs for technical planning.
  • Act as the central liaison between facility managers and corporate leadership to communicate progress, challenges, and risks.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure consistency in BAS system configurations and operations across all facilities.
  • Partner with sustainability teams to optimize BAS systems for energy efficiency and environmental compliance.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Utilize advanced planning tools and software (e.g., SAP, Primavera, or other CMMS tools) to manage and update technical plans.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards to track project status, resource allocation, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze historical and real-time data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

Technical and Data Management

  • Use advanced tools (e.g., CMMS, BAS-specific software platforms) to schedule and track maintenance, repairs, and system updates.
  • Analyze BAS performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for system optimization.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of BAS configurations, maintenance logs, and compliance records.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all technical planning activities comply with industry regulations, company standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including work orders, maintenance logs, and planning records.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive initiatives to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across global facilities.
  • Identify and implement best practices in technical planning and resource management.
  • Identify and implement best practices to improve the reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of BAS systems globally.

Skills / Qualifications / Requirement

  • Is authorized to work in the US.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in planning or project management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
  • Advanced certifications in BAS (e.g., Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Honeywell systems), project management (e.g., PMP), or energy management (e.g., CEM) are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical planning, operations, or project management within the pharmaceutical or a related regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in a global or multi-site operational environment is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong proficiency in planning and scheduling tools (e.g., SAP, CMMS, Primavera).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse global teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our team working flexibly under a hybrid model both in the office and at home. The will sits within our street lighting and highways electrical infrastructure business 'Connected Cities'.  

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the General Manager, in providing a full management accounting services and delivering professional, timely and accurate financial reporting & forecasting service to our Connected Cities business unit. The role will be based in our Sittingbourne office.

Key activities: 

  • Produce timely, accurate, and compliant production of monthly management accounts pack
  • Monitor, track and evaluate the operational expenses in the month and recommend efficiencies where possible
  • Prepare and post monthly journals including accruals & prepayments
  • To perform forecasts, budget preparation and variance analysis
  • Support operational management with detailed contract reviews including cost analysis
  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of schedules for year-end audit purposes
  • ensure invoices are raised in accordance with contracts and company policies
  • To manage debt collection, WIP recovery and review of BIA
  • Oversee the rolling cash flow reporting and evaluation 

Skills, qualifications & experience:

  • Previous experience with operational management accounts
  • Must be able to evaluate complex data and have sound problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively multitask and work unsupervised

EQUANS are recruiting for a multi skilled Joiner to be based in College Road, Kingstanding, to work on repairs and maintenance contract for Birmingham City Council properties throughout Birmingham. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview: 

The Multiskilled Joiner is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of joinery components within residential and commercial properties managed by the company. This role combines expertise in joinery with skills in related trades such as minor plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks to ensure properties are structurally sound, aesthetically pleasing, and functional.

What will you deliver?

  •  Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, or metal components to construct or repair doors, windows, cabinets, and other joinery items.
  • Install and fit joinery components including locks, handles, hinges, and fittings.
  •  Repair or replace damaged joinery components such as skirting boards, staircases, and kitchen units.
  •  Assist with minor plumbing tasks such as repairing leaks, replacing taps, and fixing plumbing fixtures.
