Process Solutions is binnen Equans het toonaangevende departement voor industriële automatisering.

Sub Contractor Manager

Equans is looking for a Sub-contractor Manager to join our team in Hartlepool on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The role holder will coordinate subcontractor activities on site. By setting and maintaining a high standard of SHEQ compliance from all subcontractors who operate on behalf of Equans at Hartlepool Power Station.

What will you deliver?

Manage Equans SMOC process and ensure any subcontractors working on site are fully approved on SMOC with relevant SMOC documentation in place.
Conduct subcontractor inaugural meetings with subcontractors before work can commence. (Every annual)
Oversee / manager any subcontractor supervisors/field supervisors, ensuring supervision is meeting expectations. (Suitable setting to work, pre job brief, spot checks etc)
Meet/greet subcontractors working on behalf of Equans on day of work.
Update subcontractor manager board
Conduct a robust setting to work and pre job brief with subcontractors working for Equans. (Where required)
Review subcontractor RAMS prior to work and review on day of work with subcontractors ensuring subcontractors understand their RAMS/SSOW and sign off stating they understand and will follow their RAMS when working.
Ensure any high risk works subcontractors undertaken are approved to complete by local ISM, ensuring local ISM has reviewed and approved subcontractor RAMS prior to task commencing.
Supervise and oversee works in the field by completing regular spot checks on subcontractor working. (active supervision)
Liaise with operations manages/supervisors planning subcontractor works and build strong relationships with teams to support subcontractor works.
Review subcontractor performance on regular basis and feedback to operation managers and local ISM on any Health & Safety concerns/issues.
Core focal point for site overseeing contractor management on day-to-day basis.

Design Manager

EQUANS is looking for a Design Manager to join our Team in Hatfield. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance and benefits package.

The main purpose of this role is to lead design from pre-construction through to construction, taking full technical responsibility for allocated projects. The Design Manager will also provide full design and technical support during the tendering process.

Experience in leading the design of major refurbishment, fire remediation, and re-cladding of Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs) is advantageous.

What will you deliver?

Design and Technical Responsibilities:

Lead consultant and survey tendering and procurement.
Conduct thorough design risk appraisals to support tenders.
Review Employer's Requirements (ERs) and contribute to Contractor’s Proposals.
Develop robust design and preconstruction programmes for tenders.
Lead client meetings during bid and preconstruction phases as required.
Manage consultant and survey appointments, ensuring scope and terms align with project needs.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with consultants.
Ensure design fee budgets are managed effectively and within scope.
Obtain consultant design programmes and integrate them into a single detailed design delivery programme.
Track and report progress against design delivery programmes.
Chair design team meetings and communicate clear expectations for deliverables.
Monitor consultant performance and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design information.
Review all design information for compliance with contracts, buildability, cost-effectiveness, and statutory regulations.
Monitor design changes and manage change control processes.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with the Commercial Team for cost validation.
Lead the resolution of design and technical queries to support preconstruction and project teams.
Liaise with Clients and Key Stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
Ensure compliance with all Statutory Matters including Building Regulations, Building Warranty, and Planning Conditions.
Work closely with the Principal Designer (BR) to meet statutory requirements under the Building Safety Act.
Obtain any required licenses, permissions, or approvals for project execution including but not limited to Highways and Drainage Section Agreements, Rail, Waterways, Crane Oversailing, Street Works, Temporary Crossovers, etc.
Lead design reviews and client presentations

Process Improvement and Team Development:

Provide support, mentorship, and guidance to Design Coordinators.
Contribute to the motivation and professional development of the design team.
Stay informed on industry updates, regulatory changes, and new product developments.
Support digital transformation initiatives within the design team, including BIM implementation and digital design review processes.

Safety:

Als Eerste Monteur Elektrotechniek Industrie ga je deel uitmaken van het Klant Specifieke Werkzaamheden (KSW)-team industrie op het Chemelot terrein. Dit team richt zich op onderhoudswerkzaamheden in projectvorm in de industrie. Dit zijn vooral multidisciplinaire onderhoudswerkzaamheden voor klanten zoals Sabic, Vynova, Sitech en USG op het Chemelot terrein. Binnen deze projecten ben jij samen met jouw collega’s verantwoordelijk voor de juiste installatie van elektrotechnische installaties.

Als Eerste Monteur Elektrotechniek Industrie ben jij verantwoordelijk voor:

zelfstandig installeren van alle voorkomende elektrotechnische installaties waarbij je rekening houdt met de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften, klanteisen en kwaliteitsnormen. Deze werkzaamheden voer je uit onder leiding van een uitvoerder of chef-monteur
begeleiding van monteurs, aankomend monteurs en BBL-leerlingen door het geven van aanwijzingen en uitleg over de werkzaamheden. Daarnaast coach je hen monteurs en help je bij het leertraject
zorgen voor een opgeruimde en schone werkplek. Daarnaast maak je efficiënt gebruik van materiaal en gereedschap

Jij bent daarbij onderdeel van de voor Zuid Nederland opererende afdeling Carbon Shift van Equans en rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Business Unit Manager Carbon Shift. De afdeling bestaat uit drie Business Developers en tien Consultants. INEO UTS, entité d’EQUANS France, est une entité spécialisée dans l’intégration et l’installation de systèmes électriques pour les transports urbains (métro, tramway, bus…) qui accompagne ses clients dans la mise en œuvre de solutions de transport fiables, performantes et innovantes et participe à des projets complexes dans ces domaines.

Votre challenge à nos côtés :

Rattaché(e) au chef de chantier et/ou au conducteur de travaux, vous êtes en charge de l’organisation et de l’exécution du chantier. Vous êtes garant de la réalisation des travaux dans le respect des délais et de la qualité. Plus précisément, vous devrez :

Conduire et réaliser les travaux d’exécution (définition des objectifs, mise à jour du dossier chantier)
Encadrer et coordonner les tâches de votre équipe (2-3 personnes)
Vérifier la qualité des fournitures et de l’exécution
Traiter les non-conformités et proposer des actions correctives
Définir les différents besoins (en personnel, en matériel…)
Appliquer et faire appliquer les consignes de sécurité
Reporter l’avancement du chantier de manière périodique (éléments marquants, travaux supplémentaires demandés par le client)

Votre profil :

De formation Bac pro à CAP/BEP en génie électrique ou électrotechnique, vous possédez de réelles connaissances quant à la conduite d’un chantier. Vous avez le sens de l’organisation et du résultat du chantier, acquis lors de vos expériences précédentes dans le secteur des travaux public.

Votre organisation, votre rigueur et votre bon relationnel vous permettront de vous adapter rapidement au sein de nos équipes. Par ailleurs, vous faites du respect des règles de sécurité votre priorité.

Ce poste vous fera intervenir de jour et de nuit et des déplacements ponctuels sont à prévoir.

Rattaché au Responsable SAV, votre mission consiste à assurer la maintenance préventive, curative ainsi que les dépannages des équipements en CVC (climatisation à détente directe, Rooftop, CTA, groupes d'eau glacée...) en autonomie, pour le compte de nos différents clients (grandes et moyennes surfaces et tertiaire). Vous assurez également le réglage des installations.
Expérimenté, vous intervenez techniquement chez nos clients dans le cadre du respect des contrats de maintenance et dépannages.
Vous manipulez les fluides frigorigènes dans le respect des normes en vigueur, et êtes capable d’intervenir sur les réseaux hydrauliques ou aérauliques, ainsi que sur les circuits et/ou armoires électriques (simples ou avec automates).
Vous contribuez à garantir la satisfaction de nos clients dans le respect des engagements contractuels (temps, délais, qualité de service).

Vous manipulez les fluides frigorigènes dans le respect des normes en vigueur, et êtes capable d’intervenir sur les réseaux hydrauliques ou aérauliques, sur les circuits et/ou armoires électriques simples ou avec automates.
