INTERIM PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Equans is looking for an Interim Procurement Manager to join our team in the South of England on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
The purpose of the role is to deliver the procurement and commercial management function across a portfolio of contracts in the South of England. The post holder will be expected to engage with stakeholders and clearly communicate the obligations and liabilities contained within the contracts to ultimately ensure that income is maximised, costs are minimised, whilst the service required is delivered.
The expectation of a Procurement Manager’s role is for them to be illustrate responsibility for maximising delivered financial value and enhancing visibility and perception of Procurement within EQUANS. This would be measured by successfully and smoothly implementing new supplier contracts and delivering ongoing value and savings in line with the Procurement Policy.
The ideal candidate will have previous procurement, commercial and or financial / accounting or QS experience within a similar industry sector at a senior level and excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
What will you deliver?
- Realise savings as per annual fiscal plan and other value that supports the growth and profitability of the company
- Representing Procurement with clients and operations directly to identify and resolve variations from the contract deliverables
- Negotiating, on an equitable basis, internally and externally to ensure that the business is not exposed to risk
- Supporting and as required leading in all supplier dispute resolution activity in these contracts areas or having a thorough input into the dispute resolution activity
- Ensuring a contract review and governance framework is followed in all contracts
- Dealing reactively in mitigation key risk areas as they arise and providing support to Finance and Operations to resolve in a timely manner against the agreed procurement and savings plan
- Deliver the procurement commitments to sustainability
- Working within the operating environment to ensure EQUANS Code of Conduct is thoroughly understood, adhered to and promoted across the business to ensure safe, compliant and consistent working practices

Who are we looking for?
- Experience of similar multi stakeholder organisations/roles
- Suitable procurement, commercial and or financial / accounting or QS experience within a similar industry sector
- Educated to degree/ diploma level (or working towards) in either Procurement, Business, Law, Surveying, Accounting

Senior Helpdesk Coordinator
EQUANS is looking for a Senior Helpdesk Coordinator to join our team based in Stoke-on-Trent on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The team is the first point of contact for a variety of facilities management requirements and administration which interfaces with onsite teams and clients (both internal and external) so excellent communication skills, organisation skills are essential.
With good interpersonal skills, customer focus and the ability to coach, the Team Senior will act as a first escalation for queries and challenges faced by team members. They will support the Team Leader to effectively manage the day-to-day operations ensuring the team deliver a friendly and proactive service, effectively handling queries and managing them in accordance with contractual requirements and process.
The Team Senior will monitor team performance against established processes, identifying coaching opportunities and training needs that should be escalated to the Team Leader, celebrating success and sharing best practice. - Efficient handling and resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Identifying and escalating recurring issues to the Team Leaders.

- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Work with the regional teams to ensure historical jobs are closed in a timely manner. Attending required meetings and escalate issues raised by the Regional in relation to non-delivery of work.

- Clearly communicate with internal and external customers, providing timely updates, and resolving issues professionally.
- Build strong relationships with customers and addressing their concerns.

- Work with the subcontractors to provide feedback to procurement for Supplier Relationship meetings.
- Generate accurate and timely reports on team performance, key metrics, and service levels.
- Analyse data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Use assessment tools and data to appropriately escalate good and developmental feedback.

Assistant Estates Manager - Passive Fire Protection
Equans is looking for an Assistant Estates Manager- Fire Protection Project to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on an 18-month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The role is to assist in the delivery of an extensive Passive Fire Protection Remediation project and implementation of an active fire solution.
The role is vital to ensure that the estate is maintained to a high and compliant standard, ensuring that all statutory requirements are fully complied with and documented for all services and facilities under the control of the contract.
What will you deliver?
- Manage the day-to-day Passive Fire Protection work streams on behalf of Equans whilst interfacing with a number of construction and non-construction parties
- Collate all information related to the PFP work & appropriately organise and store records in line with Equans record keeping procedures
- Managing and directing staff in a safe and efficient manner
- Participate in regular meetings with the Construction Contractor/Project Company & Trust to agree access for the construction team’s contractor to carry out remedial works
- Carry out Authorised Person isolations, in relation to both electrical LV and Medical Gases, where required to enable work to be completed
- Ensure all Equans Human Resource and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are adhered to
- Deputise for the Senior Project Manager Passive Fire Protection during absence from site as directed by the Senior Management Team
- Ensure that all works are being carried out in compliance with: Statute, Contract Requirements, Regulations, ACOP’s and Guidance (HTM’s)
- Managing and resolving incidents of non-compliance across the project in line with Contract and Company Requirements
- Ensure adherence and evidence of all Statutory Standards and Regulations and Department of Health requirements
- Attend as required Health & Safety forums with staff and the client on a regular basis
- Responsible for bringing to the attention of the Senior Project Manager PFP and all Senior Management any unsafe working conditions, working practices, unsafe plant or equipment encountered during the execution of duties including reporting on the company AIM’s system
- Responsible for the execution of any other estates and facilities related duties in an emergency/urgent situation, as directed by the Technical Services Managers or Senior Management Team
- Hold Authorised Person (AP) status in Elec/Medi gas/Vent or equivalent as agreed with business need
- Participate in shift working where required to ensure the delivery of the PFP project
- To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the department as requested by the Senior Management Team
- To attend and participate in Training courses as required and to undertake any training in the future as may be required to ensure the duties of the post are effectively carried out or as required by the Senior Management Team
- Responsible for maintaining comprehensive compliance records
- Carryout Equans Management Safety Visits and compliance audits (MSV) across the project
- Carrying out inspections of site tools, plant, access equipment and first aid equipment, reporting on findings and manage resolution ensuring safety and compliance
- Ensure the project work does not impact on the delivery of the Equans services on site
- To actively identify continuing professional development requirements and demonstrate progress towards enhancing knowledge and training

We have a great opportunity for a Works Scheduler in Sittingbourne to support our growing Connected Cities business which focuses on street and highways lighting infrastructure projects across the UK. The role itself will focus on activities on a long term LED Street Lighting maintenance contract across Kent.
Role overview:
The role involves the production of a programme of work for the term maintenance contract in Kent. Orders are to be reviewed in confirm and a desk top review of the location and the order requirements. Once completed the work is to be added to the operative programme.
The programmed work need to be built ensuring efficiencies are maximised, keeping travel time between sites to a minimum and achieve productivity rates.
The programme is to be updated daily. All work is to be reviewed on completion against the original order to ensure the SOR’s used by the client are correct. Fast variations (CE’s) to be added where applicable.
Scheduler to work with the assistant manager, administration staff and supervisors.
Key activities
- Create, maintain, review and administer programme of work
- Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the orders and address any issues that arise
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to facilitate completion of the works and or phases of the construction development
- Keep the client team up to date on progress via Confirm notes

Scheduler
Equans is looking for a Scheduler to join our team at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Working hours will be a shift pattern which follows below:
1 week - Early 0730-1530
1 week - Middle 0800-1600
1 week - Lates 1000-1800
What will you deliver?
- Build and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with members of the team and colleagues both within Equans and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and The Hospital Company (THC)
- Understand and apply all contractual requirements to maintenance tasks
- Own, maintain and update the site CAFM system in relation to all planned and reactive tasks under their control and management
- Regular reporting on service delivery, equipment and personnel performance, subcontractors
- Maintain accurate records, data, and reports in line with policy and compliance requirements, ensuring all confidential material is adequately secured
- Ensure that all tasks are scheduled using appropriate labour planning guidelines (PGL) allocated
- Ensure that the annual maintenance plan is scheduled correctly utilising labour and resources appropriately
- Assist the Control Room Manager in maintaining and managing absence in accordance with policy
- Work with other members of the Estates team and suppliers, to ensure continued and timely availability of spare parts/services for PPM work

Who are we looking for?

Service Technicus Werktuigbouwkunde
Ben jij er klaar voor om als Service Technicus WTB jouw kennis en expertise in te zetten om de installaties bij onze klanten draaiende te houden?
Dit ga je doen als Service Technicus WTB
Als Service Technicus bij Equans krijg jij de sleutel van de voordeur van onze klant(en) in je hand. Je speelt een essentiële rol in het oplossen van (ver)storingen of juist in het voorkomen daarvan door tijdig preventief onderhoud uit te voeren. Onze klanten werken meestal in een vol continu proces en zijn dus van jou afhankelijk mocht er iets mis gaan.
Dat is een hele verantwoordelijkheid. Gelukkig kan je altijd terugvallen op je collega’s mocht dat nodig zijn en zorgen wij voor voldoende opleidingsmogelijkheden om je verder te specialiseren. Geen dag is hetzelfde. Iedere dag rij je met jouw auto naar een andere klant om een storing te verhelpen of juist onderhoud uit te voeren. Wij nemen je mee in de week van de Service Technicus die op dit moment een storingsdienst draait.
Vrijdag aan het einde van de dag start je consignatie dienst:
- Zaterdag: Geen oproep gehad;
- Zondag: Er is een storing bij een klant om 19:30 uur. Je rijdt naar de klant, analyseert en verhelpt de storing. Je stelt een storingsrapport op en adviseert de klant hoe hij de volgende keer een storing als deze kan voorkomen. Je rijdt weer naar huis en laat een tevreden klant achter;
- Maandag: Je bent ingedeeld bij een onderhoudsklus bij een van onze klanten, je ziet in je planning waar je heen moet en bij wie je je moet melden;
- Dinsdag: Je gaat op bezoek bij een andere klant om een inspectie uit te voeren. Je stelt het rapport op en bespreekt dit met de klant. Als het kan bereid je het werk uit inspectie zelf voor en voer je het dezelfde dag nog uit;
- Woensdag: Je bent in de nacht dinsdag op woensdag opgeroepen om een storing op te lossen. Je hebt natuurlijk je rustperiode van 8 uur dus je start vandaag om 10:00 uur op kantoor. Samen met de coördinator worden je werkzaamheden aangepast aan je rooster;
- Donderdag: Er is een fabrieksstop, dat betekent tijddruk! Je voert hier vandaag werkzaamheden conform planning uit. De dag eindigt als de fabriek weer in bedrijf is;
- Vrijdag: Je springt bij voor een collega die voor het weekend zijn klus afgerond moet hebben. Samen zorgen jullie ervoor dat de werkzaamheden tijdig zijn afgerond.
Je draagt de dienst over aan je collega voor de komende week. Hierbij kan je de storingen doorlopen met elkaar van afgelopen week. Voor aankomende week houd je rekening met een uitlijn cursus.
Service Technicus WTB bij Equans is geen baan, maar een carrière.
Het ideale plaatje voor ons is dat jij als Service Technicus de expertise en ervaring hebt om complexe storingen zelfstandig en op een efficiënte manier op te lossen en dat de klant hier zo min mogelijk last van heeft. Hetzelfde geld voor het uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud en inspecties. Hoe beter jij de werkzaamheden voorbereid, hoe beter de uitvoering gaat. Daarnaast zien onze klanten graag dat je meedenkt en slimme ideeën aandraagt. Bijvoorbeeld, hoe voorkomen we dat de storing nogmaals optreedt?
Equans gaat graag een langdurige relatie met jou aan en investeert in deze relatie met uitdagende werkzaamheden bij vooraanstaande klanten in de regio.

- een afgeronde MBO 4 opleiding in de richting van werktuigbouwkunde of vergelijkbaar

Business Process Manager Finance Equans Nederland
De Business Process Management (BPM) organisatie werkt samen met de procesorganisatie binnen de Equans bedrijven, de landelijke kernteams en dwarsverbanden en Procesexperts aan het optimaliseren en uniformeren van alle processen binnen Equans Nederland. We helpen daarmee de doelstellingen van Equans Groep (Fundamentals) vorm te geven, in combinatie met de doelstellingen van Equans in Nederland. We vertalen deze doelstellingen naar de proces roadmap (ontwikkelagenda) van de verschillende procesdomeinen en houden deze up-to-date in samenwerking met de Business owner van het procesdomein. We monitoren de voortgang en sturen bij waar nodig.

Als Business Process Manager (BPM) Finance krijg je de kans om impact te maken en bij te dragen aan de ambitieuze doelstellingen binnen het financiële domein. Je richt je op innovatie, interne klantgerichtheid en slimme samenwerking met alle Equans bedrijven om optimale resultaten te behalen. Daarnaast heb je als Business Process Manager Finance een onafhankelijke functie die aanvullende zekerheid verschaft aan het management van Equans Nederland omtrent de beheersing, effectiviteit en efficiëntie van de bedrijfsvoering, betrouwbaarheid van de financiële verslaglegging en compliance met geldende wet- en regelgeving. Doel van de functie.
Je hebt gevoel voor zowel business als IT. Met je drive om continu te verbeteren, draag je bij aan procesontwikkeling en het verbeteren van onze dienstverlening naar interne klanten. Dit doe je vanuit de roadmap Finance die je samen met het Kernteam Finance opstelt. Je bewaakt en onderhoudt de roadmap en bent medeverantwoordelijk voor de realisatie van de gestelde doelen.
Je open en leergierige benadering helpt hierbij. Onze organisatie en processen zijn soms omvangrijk en complex, maar je hebt gevoel voor het herkennen van de hoofdlijnen en verbanden. Jij loopt voorop om projecten tot een goed einde te brengen. Door de hele keten te overzien, stel je makkelijk prioriteiten en hak je knopen door. Doel- en resultaatgericht werken gaat daarmee gepaard. Of je project nu gericht is op het optimaliseren van processen of methodieken, het implementeren van een nieuw systeem, of aanpassen van beleid, je neemt vol enthousiasme je omgeving mee. Je bent sensitief, initiatiefrijk, commercieel denkend en speelt in op je omgeving. Je kunt hierbij goed schakelen met stakeholders op verschillende niveaus.

Verankering doe je ook door het kennisniveau van de operationele collega’s te vergroten door te zorgen voor actuele werkinstructies en het vormgeven/faciliteren van opleidingen.
Je bent een verbinder en degene die de afstand tussen Finance en de operatie verkleind zodat de operatie haar dienstverlening naar klanten zo efficiënt mogelijk kan uitvoeren.
Verantwoordelijkheden
Als BPM’er ben je onder andere verantwoordelijk voor:
- het continu richting geven aan en begrijpen en beoordelen van de operationele en commerciële wensen en eisen met betrekking tot de dienstverlening van Finance ten einde te helpen de prestaties van de organisatie te verbeteren
- het gevraagd en ongevraagd adviseren aan het management en de directie over procesverbeteringen en interne controlemechanismen
- het analyseren van en het adviseren over potentiële verbeteringen op het gebied van business processen, waarbij de verbeteringen integraal beschouwd worden vanuit meerdere disciplines
- het doen van voorstellen ter verhoging van de data integriteit door middel van het inrichten van procescontroles (vooraf) of (close to real time) rapportages
- het op innovatieve wijze verder brengen van de beoogde veranderingen in de balans van mens, proces en systeem d.m.v. bijvoorbeeld AI (technology)
- het ontwikkelen en geborgd krijgen van een applicatie strategie en technische roadmap voor het Finance domein binnen het gehele bedrijf
- het verzamelen van behoeftes uit de organisatie, het analyseren van de mogelijkheden en het bepalen van de impact op systemen, processen en mensen
- het leiden van het Grid Team Finance overleg en de communicatie met het Agile team Finance over de prioriteiten
- heldere communicatie richting de gehele Finance community
- het borgen van voldoende capaciteit om het testen van wijzigingen en de ontwikkeling van trainingsmateriaal vorm te geven en het (laten) verzorgen van trainingen
- ontwikkeling en uitvoering van de Internal Control roadmap voor Equans Nederland en richting geven aan en assisteren van de lokale ICC’s in de bedrijfsonderdelen
- plannen, begeleiden en uitvoeren van interne audit en control opdrachten
- relatiemanagement: je onderhoudt relaties met stakeholders binnen en buiten het procesdomein Finance en bent indien nodig ook aanspreekpunt voor ons hoofdkantoor in Parijs

De Business Process Manager Finance rapporteert functioneel en hiërarchisch aan het Hoofd BPM en werkt nauw samen met de Business Owner (CFO). De BPM’er is functioneel lid van het Kernteam Finance, onder voorzitterschap van de CFO. Verder stuur je hiërarchisch de Proces Expert Finance aan.

Eplan Engineer
Wij zijn op zoek naar een Eplan Engineer voor onze afdeling Automation binnen het regiobedrijf in Tilburg! Wat ga je doen als Eplan Engineer
Als Eplan Engineer of aankomend hardware engineer kom je terecht in een dynamische omgeving op de afdeling Automation. Je maakt deel uit van een multidisciplinaire projectorganisatie en werkt nauw samen met software-, hardware- en piping engineers. De projecten waaraan je werkt, variëren aanzienlijk, met betrokkenheid bij uiteenlopende installaties zoals koeling en luchtbehandeling, vacuümopstellingen en specifieke gastoepassingen.
Je draagt de verantwoordelijkheid voor het uitwerken van besturingsprincipes, stuurstroomschema’s en opstellingstekeningen voor besturings- en regelkasten, van kleine tot grote systemen. Dit doe je door het gebruiken van standaarden en een modulaire opbouw van het uitvoeringsontwerp. Bij alles wat je doet haal jij het beste uit jezelf. Dus, naast bovenstaand, ook bij:
- het vertalen van hardware ontwerpen en uitwerken in detailtekeningen binnen het Eplan P8 software pakket
- het overdragen van jouw ontwerp aan de uitvoering
- samen met de E&I engineer het verzorgen van een goede projectadministratie, documentatie en standaardisatie
- het bieden van technische ondersteuning tijdens de installatie en inbedrijfstelling van systemen

De afdeling Automation binnen Equans richt zich op het automatiseren en digitaliseren van diverse onderdelen bij onze utilitaire en industriële klanten. Het hechte team bestaat uit engineers die zich voornamelijk richten op complexe automatiserings- en engineeringsprojecten binnen de hightechindustrie.

- een succesvol afgeronde technische opleiding (minimaal MBO) bij voorkeur in de richting van elektrotechniek, besturingstechniek of industriële automatisering
- minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als Eplan Engineer bij voorkeur in de industriële automatisering
- een initiatiefrijke en oplossingsgerichte instelling die bijdraagt aan het verbeteren van werkprocessen en het ontwikkelen van de discipline
- vergevorderde ervaring met Eplan P8
- de nodige kennis van geldende normen binnen je discipline (zoals bijvoorbeeld NEN1010, NEN-EN 60204, IEC61439, etc.)
- dat je verantwoordelijk voelt voor de kwaliteit van alle producten die je levert
- beheersing van de Nederlandse taal en dat je communicatie vaardig bent
- beschikking over de juiste materiaalkennis
