Senior M&E Engineer
Equans is looking for a Senior M&E Engineer (Mechanically Biased) to join our team at Barnet General Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, based on a shift pattern of 6am to 3pm and 9am to 6pm rotating weekly. M&E Technician

This a leading role requiring a thorough understanding of engineering building services installation and maintenance techniques. To apply trade skills and experience to ensure the satisfactory completion of allocated maintenance, breakdown repairs, installation, new and refurbishment works.
What will you deliver?
- Take responsibility for all works issued and to ensure that all attendance and rectification times are achieved. Where not possible, to escalate to line Manager in good time in order that appropriate action can be taken to mitigate financial penalty risk
- Ensure that all works assigned are managed so far as attendance and completion times, and that works orders are completed and update to the CAFM system (Maximo). Reports should be concise and include all relevant information to ensure that the workflow process is seamless
- Responsible for the safe operation, planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical/electrical systems, associated plant/equipment installed throughout the Site
- Maintain and carry out repairs on HVAC systems, gas appliances, Piped Medical Gas systems, steam plant/equipment and all other equipment in plant rooms, patient areas and other departments
- Works will involve working in a live Hospital environment, working at height (Podiums), using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery/equipment for larger repairs (Doors etc). All PPE and training as appropriate will be provided

Rattaché au Responsable SAV, votre mission principale est d’assurer la maintenance préventive et curative ainsi que le dépannage des installations frigorifiques telles que les vitrines réfrigérées, les chambres froides et les centrales frigorifiques (HFC ; Co2 ; propane), et des équipement de cuisines professionnelles.
Vos tâches seront :
- Diagnostiquer les pannes sur les circuits frigorifiques et électriques,
- Remplacer les pièces défectueuses (compresseur, évaporateur, détendeurs …),
- Régler les thermostats et les équipements de régulation,
- Contrôler les températures des équipements pour garantir la chaine du froid,
- Assurer le nettoyage et la mise en conformité des installations selon les normes sanitaires,
- Rédiger les comptes-rendus d’interventions.
Idéalement issu d’une formation technique (Bac à Bac +3) spécialisée en Réfrigération ou Génie Climatique.
Vous possédez l’attestation d’aptitude à la manipulation des fluides frigorigènes (Cat. 1) ainsi qu’une première expérience significative sur un poste similaire.
