En tant que Commissioning Officer Senior chez Equans à Nivelles, vous jouez un rôle crucial en supervisant les mises en service et en réglant chaque détail pour que nos systèmes HVAC fonctionnent à la perfection sur les sites de nos clients en Wallonie, Bruxelles et même jusqu’au Luxembourg.
Votre rôle d’expert ? Vous préparez, rédigez et faites le suivi jusqu’à la fin des dossiers commissioning, suivant nos critères et ceux de nos clients. Vous mettez en service et faites l’ensemble des réglages nécessaires sur nos installations et vérifiez qu’elles fonctionnent à la perfection avant remise au client !
Vous avez également un rôle de superviseur pour les sous-traitants et les techniciens en vous assurant de la qualité de nos performances.
Il s’agit d’une fonction de terrain prestée sur les différentes installations en cours de réalisation chez nos clients.
Commissioning Officer Senior chez Equans ? Mais de quoi s’agit-il ?
En bref, vous prenez le rôle de « metteur au point » des installations HVAC : vous entrez en action uniquement à partir du moment où les équipements sont installés.
Premièrement, lors des mises en service, vous collaborez avec tous les intervenants (techniciens, sous-traitants…) afin d’arriver à une installation correcte dans les délais prévus. De là, plusieurs responsabilités vous attendent :
- la mise en service de l’installation, raccordements, démarrage et derniers réglages. Et ce, sur base de : diverses instructions, planning, contexte, plans P&ID schémas électriques et de régulation
- les mesures (électriques, aérauliques, hydrauliques) et tests nécessaires : vous vous assurez que l’installation fonctionne parfaitement
- valider les différentes séquences de fonctionnement des installations
- pouvoir localiser les défauts si la mise en service ou les tests ne se passent pas comme prévu et agir en fonction, effectuer les éventuelles corrections
- les explications et instructions d’utilisation au client
- s’assurer de votre sécurité sur le site, ainsi que celle de votre entourage, avec un respect strict de toutes les consignes de sécurité (les nôtres et également celles de nos clients)
- participation aux réceptions finales de nos installations avec le client, bureau d’étude et Project Manager du chantier concerné
- s’assurer de la formation journalière des Commissioning Officers Juniors
- suivi et reporting des heures allouées aux tâches de votre équipe et vous-même
Avant, pendant et après toute intervention, vous restez en contact avec le client, le bureau d’étude et le Project Manager Commissioning. Vous leur envoyez vos commentaires et rapports concernant les : tests, contrôles, réglages.
De quoi avez-vous besoin ?
- un diplôme de bachelier en électromécanique OU un A2 électromécanique
- minimum 5 ans d’expérience dans ce domaine
- une excellente connaissance en électricité et HVAC
- savoir utiliser les automates de régulation
- savoir lire des plans et schémas P&ID (HVAC), de régulations…
- pouvoir travailler de façon analytique

Commercial Manager
Equans is looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team in the North West on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
The Commercial Manager will provide an influential pre and post contract commercial management service to a portfolio of contracts within the Education sector. The Commercial Manager will manage numerous stakeholder relationships, including those client representatives; Equans operational teams running the contracts and other colleagues who provide functional support to the contracts (e.g., risk, finance, legal and HR etc.). Furthermore, they will have direct line management for the Assistant Commercial Manager (ACM) based in Liverpool.
This role will cover contracts in Manchester, Liverpool, Barnsley, Stoke and Preston
What will you deliver?
- Identifying, monitoring, and reporting on risks.
- Supporting the management and mitigation of risks at all levels (operational, financial, commercial, technical, etc).
- Management of jeopardy management process.
- Management of variation/change control.
- Repository for confidential/commercially sensitive information.
- Leading governance within the contracts to ensure that the requirements of the contract are being complied with.
- Aiding the quality of service by ensuring awareness of contractual responsibilities among all other Equans colleagues (including contract deliverables, scope of services etc.).
- Assisting in the search for efficiencies and service optimisation.
- Enforcing commercial compliance (by audit and support against Equan’s Minimum Commercial Standards).
- Supporting the management of cash under their contract sector.
- The requirement to ensure full commercial governance to all subcontractors.
- Provide day to day commercial support to the account management teams.
- Supporting the identification, management and mitigation of risks at all levels associated with bidding new contracts.
- Leading on KPI reporting and management
- Supporting and leading on the annual paymech weightings review.
- Leading and implementing change in law to the benefit of contracts.

- Suitable commercial experience within a similar industry sector (FM/PFI) ideally ‘education’

Building Services Engineering Graduate Scheme Overview
Our Engineering teams deliver an incredibly wide range of technical services to our clients all over the country. You could be a part of one of our largest facilities management contracts, where we work in partnership with some of the UK’s biggest hospitals, universities, and schools. Alternatively, you could be helping to mobilise one of our newest contract wins. A life in Engineering is never dull, and as a Equans graduate you will gain experience in what it takes to manage large complex engineering projects and diverse teams in a fun and rewarding industry.
As a Building Services Engineering Graduate, you will rotate across different areas, predominantly in our Sustainable FM division, in order to develop your technical, people & project management skills. The placements will either be within our central engineering and compliance function, or on our operational sites.
You will have the opportunity to gain experience, and put your engineering credentials to the test, in various customer sectors, which may include:
- Corporate environments
- Manufacturing and Industrial
- Healthcare and Blue Light
- Nuclear
- Education
Some of the roles and responsibilities you may undertake during your rotations could be:
- Supporting the central Engineering & Compliance team train, assess and appoint our engineers to carry out complex isolation activities
- Audit our contracts for compliance with our contractual maintenance obligations and ensuring the adequate application of our engineering safe systems of work
- Assist our contracts in the planning of complex engineering activities, e.g. shutting down areas of our hospitals to carry out intrusive electrical testing and inspection
- Following training given on the scheme, fulfil the role of a Contract Responsible Person, for the management of our Water or Gas systems
- Development and build of our Asset management & Planned Maintenance systems, when mobilising a new contract
Or working on specific projects for a cluster of operational contracts, for example:
- Revalidating hospital operating theatre ventilation systems
- Planning and overseeing the completion of High and Low Voltage breaker maintenance, carried out by a contractor
- Planning and overseeing the statutory inspections of steam boilers
- Project manging the transition from gas boilers to heat pumps, on our schools contracts
Over the graduate scheme, we will provide a wide variety of training opportunities to develop your engineering, leadership, and management skills, so that you can excel, and be ready for an Engineering Management role following the end of the scheme. You will gain exposure to different areas of the business and opportunities to increase your network, such as through working on a business improvement project with other graduates which you will present to senior leaders. You will be encouraged and supported to apply to become a member of a relevant engineering institution and assisted in navigating a route to professional registration, for example as an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer.
We’re looking for people who are motivated to continue learning and are ready to take on new opportunities. You won’t be alone during the scheme; you will be supported to drive your development through structured placement reviews and regular meetings with the Early Careers team. Our Engineering teams deliver an incredibly wide range of services to our clients all over the country. You could be a part of the largest facilities management contracts in the UK where we work in partnership with some of the UK’s biggest hospitals or helping to mobilise our newest contract wins. Senior Inspecteur Legionella
Waar kom je terecht?
Je gaat aan de slag bij de afdeling Technical Inspections & Solutions (TIS), een dynamische afdeling met een informele en prettige werksfeer. TIS ontzorgt volledig op het gebied van inspecties en keuringen van technische installaties volgens wet- en regelgeving en normtechnische vereisten. De afdeling groeit snel en streeft ernaar de grootste inspectiedienst van Nederland te worden.
Jouw rol als Inspecteur
Als Senior inspecteur voer je legionella inspecties uit bij diverse opdrachtgevers. Daarnaast adviseer je klanten over wettelijke regelgeving, waterveiligheid en kostenbesparing.
Wat ga je doen als Inspecteur Legionella
- beoordelen van de volledige waterinstallaties
- schriftelijk vastleggen van procedures voor ter voorkoming van legionella
- regelmatig overleg voeren met opdrachtgevers en technisch advies geven
- uitvoeren van inspecties BRL-6010 bij opdrachtgevers waar je niet als installatieverantwoordelijke bent aangesteld
- verzamelen en beheren van volledige keuringsregistratie en ondersteunen van monteurs op het gebied van (internationaal) geldende kwaliteits- en veiligheidsnormen
Wat breng je mee
Je bent goed op de hoogte van de geldende regels en normen en wordt regelmatig gevraagd om elektrotechnisch advies. Je bent deskundig en klantgericht en kunt onderbouwde, (elektro)technische adviezen geven.
Daarnaast heb je:
- minimaal een afgeronde MBO 3 of 4 opleiding in de techniek
- ongeveer 3 tot 5 jaar werkervaring als inspecteur of servicetechnicus
- een BLR-6010-diploma of een diploma installatieverantwoordelijke (of bereidheid om dit op korte termijn te behalen)
- VCA certificaat, of bereid deze te halen
- ervaring met het overbrengen van jouw expertise op anderen
- het vermogen om snel te schakelen en stressbestendig te zijn
Wij vinden het belangrijk dat je jezelf wilt blijven ontwikkelen. Binnen onze afdeling ben je nooit uitgeleerd en stimuleren wij doorgroei- en ontwikkelingsmogelijkheden.

Bij de start krijg je goede begeleiding, loop je mee met ervaren inspecteurs en leer je de organisatie goed kennen. Door de omvang van onze portefeuille kun je veel zien en leren. Je komt op diverse locaties terecht, of indien gewenst op een vaste locatie. De ene dag sta je in een mayofabriek, de andere dag tussen de tanks en gevechtsvoertuigen van Defensie.
