Mobile Electrician

Equans is looking for a Mobile Electrician to join our team. You will be based at Woodland View Hospital in Irvine 3 days per week and the remaining two will be based at Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will possess strong electrical maintenance knowledge and have completed a recognised apprenticeship. The role focuses on maintaining the safe and continuous operation of electrical supplies, building systems, plant, and equipment. You will be a part of a flexible maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of critical hospital systems in areas such as operating theatres, renal, and endoscopy departments.

What will you deliver?

  • Adhere to Equans' safe operation standards, including working with Low Voltage, Mechanical, Pressure, Water, Medical Gas, and Confined Spaces systems.
  • Follow the Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTMs) and other statutory compliance requirements.
  • Perform both planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring timely resolution of issues to avoid contractual penalties.
  • Create Method Statements and Risk Assessments for issuing Permits-to-Work.
  • Perform tasks such as electrical system maintenance, emergency lighting checks, fire alarm tests, water and medical gas system upkeep, and pressure system maintenance.
  • Complete all necessary reports, test certificates, and Task Assessment sheets both electronically and in hard copy.
  • Work collaboratively with the Facilities Team Leader, assisting with equipment failures and organising the supply of goods/services as required.
  • Participate in overtime work and an on-call rota to support maintenance activities.
  • Travel to other sites as needed and liaise professionally with clients, particularly NHS personnel.

Who are we looking for?

  • Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship with proven experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Competency in building service systems, with a solid understanding of equipment operation.
  • Experience in hospital maintenance is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, including Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM), is desirable.
  • First Aid and CPR training within the last three years, or willingness to undergo training.
  • Due to the nature of the contract successful candidate must be able to obtain a Basic Disclosure Scotland certificate.

Maintenance Assistant

Equans is looking for a Maintenance Assistant on a permanent basis for our Lancashire Schools’ contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:
Responsible for the Completion of PPM in the timescales produced. File all assigned PPM’s onsite in the correct location. Assist the technical team with completion of issues as and when required.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Organise, manage and monitor PPM’s
2. Rectify corrective works raised on the completed PPM’s
3. Assist the technical team with issues across the sites when required
4. Carry out minor routine maintenance tasks in accordance with the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme, including pre-planned maintenance tasks during the school holidays.
5. Monitor and adjust as necessary to ensure plant and associated systems perform within set limits. 
6. Carry out internal and external routine inspections of the school premises. 
7. Assist in the preparation of reports. Maintain and update records as appropriate.
8. May be needed for the support of out of hours activities.  
9. Ensure adequate supplies and other consumable items are available for job completion.
10. Ensure the correct procedures are followed for the safe and efficient handling of waste.
11. Respond in a safe manner to the effects of adverse weather conditions.

To assist the Commercial Manager with effective financial management during pre-commencement stage in order to reduce risk and increase target contribution prior to commencement on site.

To play a fundamental role within the site team to ensure the efficient delivery of each scheme. It is also essential that the SQS undertakes financial management and accurate reportage, in accordance with company procedures.

To assist the CM in financial pre-commencement activities such as pricing of works for submission to client, appointment of consultants, initial subcontract negotiations.

  • Obtain weekly bonus sheets from directly employed operative.
  • Check against Site Manager’s weekly time sheet.
  • Apply pre-agreed bonus targets.

Monthly cost value reports

  • Completion of initial internal value split within cost value report to determine value within each discipline.
  • Completion of cost projection for duration of scheme across all elements to establish projected final cost.
  • Produce accurate cost information for monthly Cost Value Report.
  • Completion of Cost Value Report by inputting accurate costs.
  • Updating internal value in line with most recent projected final account.
  • Updating projected cost for the duration of scheme.
  • Ensure Subcontract and Material liabilities are input accurately.
  • Completion of Contribution Action Plan.

  • Attend budget meetings with site team.
  • Production of performance review document for senior management.

EQUANS are recruiting for x3 Wetroom Plumbers to be based in Tyne and Wear. This is a permanent full-time role working 42.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm (30 mins for lunch)

What will you deliver?

  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of wet rooms in residential and commercial properties managed by the company
  • Install complete wet rooms, including waterproofing, tiling, plumbing, basic joinery, patch plastering and fitting fixtures
  • Apply waterproof membranes and ensure all surfaces are properly sealed to prevent leaks
  • Measure, cut, and fit tiles, ensuring precise alignment and high-quality finishes
  • Install and connect plumbing fixtures, such as showers, sinks, and toilets, to ensure proper functionality
  • Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks to keep wet rooms in optimal condition
  • Participate in the company’s out-of-hours emergency repair rota as required

Who are we looking for?

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Plumbing, Tiling, or a related field
  • Valid CSCS / JIB card
  • Proven experience as a Wet Room Installer or similar role in the construction or repairs and maintenance industry
  • Strong skills in waterproofing, tiling, and plumbing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Full UK driving license

Ben jij een ambitieuze teamspeler die ervaring heeft met het opstellen van projectplanningen voor complexe, multidisciplinaire projecten en heb je het in je om vanuit de rol van planner een groei door te maken binnen het projectbeheersing team? Wij zoeken een planner in Dordrecht of Zaandam. Grijp jouw kansen bij Equans.

Dit ga je doen als Planner

Vanuit de rol van planner op de afdeling projectbeheersing werk je aan projecten variërend van kleinschalige opdrachten tot projecten met een looptijd van jaren. In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van planningen tijdens de voorbereidingsfase van projecten. Je maakt een doorvertaling van alle werkzaamheden naar een concrete planning.

Tijdens de realisatiefase is het jouw rol om de opvolging te borgen en te rapporteren. Zo bewaak je de voortgang en identificeer je mogelijke knelpunten, vertragingen en tijdsbesparingen. Je werkt hierin nauw samen met andere project teamleden, de opdrachtgever en andere stakeholders over de aanpak, dilemma’s en oplossingen voor planning gerelateerde vraagstukken.

Naast het opstellen en bewaken van projectplanningen is een belangrijk onderdeel van de functie het verder ontwikkelen van planningsmanagement en de bijbehorende tooling. Het belang van een goede projectplanning laten doordringen binnen de verschillende projectteams is van essentieel belang voor de mate waarop er naar de planning gekeken wordt. Jouw visie verder uitwerken door het verder implementeren van planningsmanagement en tooling in de organisatie is een belangrijk onderdeel van deze rol.

Je voornaamste werkzaamheden bestaan dus uit: 

  • het verder ontwikkelen van planningsmanagement en de tooling hiervan
  • jouw visie op het verder integreren van planningsmanagement in de organisatie goed laten landen
  • de key-user zijn van het planningsmanagementproces
  • de coördinatie van de planning en gerelateerde activiteiten
  • het adviseren van je collega’s over verbetering van geldende procedures, werkprocessen en toepassingen op het gebied van planning en projectbeheersing
  • het proactief definiëren en communiceren van de informatiebehoefte binnen de projecten met interne stakeholders (Sourcing, Engineering & Automatisering en Uitvoering) en externe stakeholders (leveranciers en (onder-)aannemers)
  • het opstellen en bijstellen van de overall projectplanning van één of meerdere projecten in planningsapplicaties, zoals Primavera P6
  • het bewaken en aanjagen dat de juiste data en informatie tijdig wordt aangeleverd voor de voortgang en impactanalyse
  • het organiseren en faciliteren van planningsoverleggen op diverse niveaus
  • proactieve communicatie over de status van het project en doorvertaling van de projectplanning naar stuurinformatie voor het projectteam
  • het opstellen van voortgangsrapportages en overzichten waarmee je op verschillende niveaus over de voortgang van een project, capaciteit, business unit of bedrijf kunt rapporteren
  • het signaleren van mogelijke planningsrisico’s, kansen en knelpunten en adviseren over mogelijke planningsgerichte oplossingen

Jouw werkomgeving

De business unit Infra is een van de business units van Infra & Energie. Bij Infra & Energie maken wij infrastructuur voor mobiliteit en energie slimmer, veiliger en duurzamer. Deze infrastructuur maken wij niet alleen functioneel, wij voegen ook intelligentie toe en maken netwerken integraal toepasbaar. Dat doen wij onder andere voor zon- en windparken, duurzame mobiliteit, tunnels, bruggen, sluizen, wegen en waterkeringen, bediencentrales en smart corridors. Naast ontwerp en realisatie van projecten, nemen wij ook graag het onderhoud en beheer uit handen.

De business unit Infra opereert landelijk, met twee grote vestigingen in Dordrecht en Zaandam en twee kleinere vestigingen in Goes en Arnhem. Je zal onderdeel worden van het team projectbeheersing. Dit is een team bestaande uit hoger opgeleide jongens en meiden en wordt als essentieel gezien binnen onze organisatie. Het beheersen van onze projecten heeft binnen Equans top prioriteit en wordt breed gedragen.

  • woonachtig op reële reisafstand van Dordrecht of Zaandam

     VOTRE MISSION :

Au sein du centre de Travaux de Smarves, nous recherchons un(e) Chef(fe) d’Equipe Réseaux Secs. Sous la responsabilité du Conducteur de Travaux, vous réaliserez la préparation et la construction de réseaux d'énergies pour les travaux de réseaux secs et les travaux de Voirie Réseaux Divers. Ainsi, vous serez en charge de :

  • Organiser les postes de travail,
  • Assurer le suivi des travaux (terrassement et pose de réseaux : électricité, éclairage, déroulage, remblais, finitions) et la liaison avec le conducteur travaux,
  • Encadrer une équipe de terrassement
  • Être le référent auprès de nos clients et des riverains,
  • Participer à la réalisation du chantier,
  • Respecter les engagements en termes de planification.  

Vous veillerez également au respect des consignes de prévention et de sécurité. 

VOUS SOUHAITEZ NOUS REJOINDRE ?

Vous êtes issu(e) d’une formation Bac Pro Travaux Publics ou autodidacte avec une expérience significative en terrassement dans les métiers des réseaux secs. Vous êtes titulaire du Permis PL avec CACES, de la formation AIPR et les habilitations H0B0, BF, HF.

Volontaire, ponctuel (le), rigoureux (se), autonome, vous aimez le travail en équipe et avez le sens des responsabilités. Vous maitrisez les outils numériques (utilisation de la tablette/ téléphone portable professionnel).

Rythme de travail : 37h/ semaine

Conditions nécessaires : Permis B et moyen de locomotion
