Multi site Caretaker

EQUANS is recruiting for a Multi Site Caretaker to be based out of Tamworth Belgrave Fire and Police Station, B77 2JN. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is salary of £24,835.20 per annum and benefits package.

Shift times:

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 16:00pm. 

What you will deliver:

• Be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws or regulations to make certain that all company Health and Safety policies, procedures are adhered to.
• Carry out first line investigations into building faults and isolate / make safe where necessary and arrange referral to engineer or specialist contractor through the Helpdesk.
• Carry out minor maintenance works and planned maintenance tasks.
• Rolling on-call rota, attending emergency events out of hours, covering all 10 x Fire Stations and 89 Stoke Schools sites
• Completion of audits, ensuring all on site documentation is current and complete
• Snow clearance and gritting in the winter months, providing support to other Fire Stations where required. 
• To provide ‘Meet & Greet’ service external Community Groups who utilize the Community Facilities within the Fire Station, to always ensure their safety. This will include the set up and tidy away of any required furniture. 
• Reporting building misuse or damage to the Mobile Operations Supervisor in a timely manner
• Understand the operation of the building to maintain a positive on-site relationship with customers and be aware of any potential or existing customer dissatisfaction or circumstance and ensure that management are suitably informed in a timely manner.
• Provide cover for holidays, sickness and emergencies when required at all 10 x Fire Stations.

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Part time Afternoon Cleaner

EQUANS is recruiting for a Part Time Afternonn Cleaner to be based in Noel Baker Academy, DE24 0BR. This is a permanent role working 15 hours per week. On offer is salary of £8,408.40 per annum and benefits package.

Summary

Equans is seeking an experienced Business Development Director (BDD) to support the development of our Integrated Facility management services in Northeastern USA (ME, NH,MA,MD,NJ,PA,NY) and East Coast or Central areas. The seasoned Sales professional must be capable of effectively delivering ESI Value Proposition regarding Integrated Facility Management and Energy Optimization to the C-level and must demonstrate success through a proven track record of managing and closing opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle.

Reporting to the Business Development Vice-President; the successful candidate assumes responsibility for market development through prospecting, prepares responses to requests for proposals, and negotiates and signs contracts, primarily in the fields of facility management, technical solutions and energy management. The candidate will also collaboratively work with EQUANS’s sister companies (HT Lyons, Conti and Systecon) to develop cross-selling opportunities.

This position will play the lead role in growing our facility services business in the United States, from strategy development and market penetration design to execution of the plan.

  • Actively supports and participates to the bidding process. Leading and negotiating pricing, long-term contract terms and conditions within existing business parameters. Work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders to ensure success in bidding.
  • Directs and negotiates prices, contractual terms and conditions within existing business parameters.
  • Utilizes sales tools (CRM) to plan and document progress as well as building and managing a Sales Pipeline aligned with their yearly Business Plan and objectives.
  • Accountable to shepherd client relationships from the early stages of the sales process through to post-sales and transition to the Operations teams.
  • Accountable for being well-informed about current industry trends and being able to speak with conviction about the industry. Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products/services.

  • This is a field role and regular travel is required.

Skills

  • Authorized to work in the US;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in facility management and/or building science (Understanding facility services/IFM commercial models).
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in strategic business development role.

Equans is looking for a Site waste Coordinator to join our team in Heysham 1 Power Station Heysham, LA3 2XH  on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £31,627.00  per annum and benefits package

What will you deliver?

Reporting to the Soft Services Manager the Site Waste Co-Ordinator will be responsible for supporting the Industrial Services Manager in the operational remit on the EDF Energy contract. These operational duties include managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste regulations with an active approach to waste recycling and segregation. In addition, ensuring that the contract delivers EQUANS performance in line with EDF Energy requirements, specific site performance objectives and a pro-active service to the client.

T&I Electrician

Equans is looking for a Testing & Inspection Electrician to join our team in Edmonton, working on our contract with Cola-Cola on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The role will report directly to the Site T&I Supervisor with responsibility for the day to day operation of the electrical testing and inspection contract, including development of the contract.

What will you deliver?

  • Carry out scheduled Electrical testing and Inspection maintenance tasks including but not limited to Emergency Lighting, ECIR, Illumination Levels, Infra-Red, Motors, PAT, Static Discharge, Lightening Protection. To carry out repairs and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice
  • Operate and maintain the plant at the sites identified above in line with existing procedures, thereby fulfilling site health, safety, environmental, quality and customer service targets. This will include identifying areas for continual improvement
  • Ensure that all works under his/her control are effectively carried out to ensure that any third-party contractors who carry out work on the site do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by the relevant Company Procedures and site specific procedures where applicable
  • Ensure that works are conducted in line with Company Safe Systems of Work and the site Permit to Work system, ensuring adequate procedures and processes are in place
  • Complete PPM and reactive works activities in accordance with contract requirements, and in line with company competency appointment(s)

Helpdesk Administrator

Equans is a renowned energies & services contractor and a proud member of the Bouygues global industrial group. Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Helpdesk Administrator to join our Facilities  team at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.  This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week on a 3 week rolling rota 5 days from 7.

The role:

  • To provide a customer focused Helpdesk service, supporting the needs of the Hospital, dealing accurately with all client/customer requests and managing all complaints in a sensitive and efficient manner
  • To receive calls in hours and out of hours with professional manner
  • To support the planned maintenance programme by printing off job dockets and returning to the system when complete    
  • To provide a professional approach towards customers and their needs    
  • To provide administration support to the department
  • Working 37.5 hours per week, on a 3 week rolling rota, 5 days from 7, 8 hours per day between 09:00 and 21:00.

The person:

  • Must have experience of providing excellent customer service ideally on a helpdesk
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Must have good IT skills (able to use Microsoft Office and management systems)
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload
  • Ability to multi task in a busy work environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service/call centre role is desirable
  • Previous experience of using a CAFM system (Maximo or similar) is desirable

Dit ga je doen als Eerste Monteur Werktuigbouwkunde
Als Eerste monteur werktuigbouwkunde zul je te maken krijgen met onderhouds- en renovatieprojecten van werktuigbouwkundige installaties in het ADRZ ziekenhuis in Goes. Denk hierbij aan installaties op gebied van verwarming, koeling, water en luchtbehandeling. Dit doe je conform relevante normen en richtlijnen alsmede specifieke eisen van de klant. Uiteraard is het van belang dat de werkzaamheden binnen de gestelde tijd en conform werktekeningen, specificaties en (veiligheids-)voorschriften en procedures worden uitgevoerd. Je hebt in de uitvoering van je werkzaamheden ruimte en vrijheid hoe je zaken aanpakt. Waar nodig kan je altijd rekenen op je collega-specialist voor advies of controle. Je hebt kwaliteit en veiligheid hoog in het vaandel staan. Je bent dagelijks met collega’s en direct met de klant in contact. Fijn dus dat je gemakkelijk benaderbaar bent.

Bij alles wat je doet haal jij het beste uit jezelf. Dus, naast bovenstaand, ook bij:

  • het verrichten van renovatie- en projectwerkzaamheden

Monteur Koudetechniek

Wanneer er voor een voedselverwerkingsbedrijf een nieuwe koelinstallatie gebouwd wordt, zorg jij voor een vlekkeloze uitvoering van dit project. Met jouw kennis ben jij in staat om montagewerkzaamheden uit te voeren aan zowel nieuwbouw- als onderhoudsprojecten. Samen met je collega's zorg je voor de oplevering van een koelinstallatie die draait op een natuurlijk koudemiddel, waar zowel jullie als de klant trots op zijn!

Dit ga je doen als Monteur Koudetechniek

Als Monteur Koudetechniek ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van montagewerkzaamheden binnen industriële installaties in de koudetechniek. Jij zorgt ervoor dat de werkzaamheden binnen de gestelde eisen en tijdsplanning worden afgerond. Je werkt nauw samen met je collega's en externe partijen om ervoor te zorgen dat het project soepel verloopt. Door jouw ervaring in de koudetechniek weet je precies wat er nodig is om succesvol te zijn in je werk. Veiligheid staat voorop, en je draagt hier actief aan bij.

Dus ook bij het:

  • Zorgdragen voor een efficiënte uitvoering van alle facetten van het project
  • Werken aan nieuwe installaties of onderhoudsprojecten op locatie
