Role overview:

  • Installation, testing and commissioning of various cabling & electrical systems in commercial environment.
  • Work within a team to deliver communications & electrical projects in accordance with Company standards and to meet project time frames.
  • Ensuring customer concerns are proactively addressed.
  • Establish and maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues and Managers of the Company.
  • Effectively manage administrative requirements.
  • Attend toolbox meetings and training as required.

Skills and experience:

CAD Operator

Equans is looking for an CAD Operator to join our team in Stoke on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Auto CAD Operator performs a variety of design/drafting/space planning, room moves and lighting configurations activities group including preparing/updating installation drawings for projects, preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings, establishing guidelines and procedures for CAD data management, and managing workload distribution within the CAD department. Ideally also experienced in Bolster although training will be given.

What will you deliver?

  • Survey and update existing ‘as built’ drawings
  • Convert drawings to DWG format.
  • Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with other teams to ensure consistent documentation of the projects.
  • Ensure documentation is held for all aspects of the O&M manuals
  • Update and maintain elecronic filing systems.
  • Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation (such as drawings, bill of materials, list of design parameters, and performance guarantees) for future reference.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of third party items. Review and modify information with supervision by the Compliance Manager/Account Director / Project and Planning Managers (both Equans and Client side).
  • Establish filing guidelines for drawings to maintain up-to-date drawings.
  • Other duties as required relating to CAD database maintenance etc.

Energy Manager

Equans is looking for an Energy Manager to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

Reporting to the Soft Services and Sustainability Lead, the Energy and Sustainability Manager will lead on delivery of the contract deliverables and SLA’s related to Energy usage optimisation, Water use reduction, Waste minimisation, Biodiversity initiatives, and Social value initiatives and be the main point of contact to the client in these areas.

What will you deliver?

  • Provide energy management reporting across the HMCTS locations, in line with contractual SLA’s;
  • Implement energy consumption optimisation through BMS and monitor to manage non-compliance, and achieve SLA
  • Identify and communicate settings for optimum energy consumption at non-BMS sites and monitor to manage non-compliance and achieve SLA
  • Develop a plan to reduce water usage across the estate, including the reading of water meters to identify leaks, and achieve SLA
  • Develop and implement a waste minimisation plan, utilising the expertise of the supply chain, to reduce waste generation, increase recycling rates, reduce Waste to Landfill, and achieve SLA’s.
  • Management of contractual deliverables related to Biodiversity
  • Liaise with the client and Equans account teams to identify and promote Social value initiatives
  • Identify strategic opportunities to improve our customers energy and carbon performance
  • Provide insight and market intelligence on the current initiatives, innovations and priorities
  • Coordinate and provide Energy and Sustainability related business support to the various projects and assets to ensure effective management.
  • Work with Lifecycle Manager, Technical team, Regional Management teams to identify and develop energy and sustainability related commercial opportunities.
  • Represent and promote Equans within the wider market by providing representation at various stake holder meetings, trade events etc.

  • Significant experience of Energy Management and managing energy and sustainability KPI risk

Multi-Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

Equans are looking for an experienced Electrically Qualified Multiskilled Maintenance & Service Technician to join their on-site team at the University of Birmingham, Pritchatts Park Village Student Accommodation project. The successful candidate will hold a valid NVQ electrical qualification with 18th Edition training and have experience in a comparable role.

The Maintenance & Service technician will be required to carry out a range of both Reactive Works and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with the PPM schedule, including but not limited to:

  • Provide maintenance at a single site student accommodation complex in Birmingham.
  • Provide initial response to all Reactive Maintenance requests during normal working hours and Out of Hours as part of the On-call Out of Hours Rota.
  • Quarterly shower head & hose cleaning in accordance with L8 requirements (full training will be provided)
  • Monthly temperature monitoring of Hot & Cold water systems
  • Weekly flushing of water outlets in all unoccupied rooms
  • Weekly fire alarm testing on the student accommodation
  • Undertake regular visual inspections of building fabric, furniture, fixtures & fittings
  • Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner.

Equans is recruiting for a Receptionist to be based at Loughborough University London in Stratford, East London. This is a permanent full-time role working 30 hours per week from 1300 to 1900, Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview

To serve as a coordination point between the internal and external clients of the building.

To deliver efficient and effective administrative services which meet the business needs of the client.  The services provided is for reception desk duties and security, meet and greet, to answer all calls in a timely and professional manner, following the general standards and procedures and various admin tasks as required to support the work of the client.

What will you deliver?

  • Answer, screen and direct internal telephone and external calls or forward it as appropriate

Lifecycle Project Manager

Equans is looking for an Lifecycle Project Manager to join our team in Sheffield on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Create all required tender specifications for required refurbishment and defect works at site – encompassing building fabric, fixtures, fittings and furniture.
  • Engage with the supply chain and the University to identify products & finishes that meet both contractual obligations and client expectations.
  • Liaise with the Technical Services Manager to scope & specify all required Mechanical & Electrical lifecycle works across the accommodation units
  • Liaise with the local maintenance teams to identify failure trends and unforeseen lifecycle requirements.
  • Work with the Account Manager to shape and develop the long-term Lifecycle plan (minimum 5 years).
  • Oversee the administration of Lifecycle budgets, forecasts, expenditure and purchasing through the Coupa procurement system.
  • Plan / Schedule all works and requirements, ensuring all scheduled activities are agreed with the University and other stakeholders
  • Continually review all possible routes to delivery of works, ensuring best value and maximum budget reach for EQUANS.
  • Manage and programme all works for the in-house team of lifecycle craftsmen.
  • Manage the in-house team of lifecycle craftsmen.

  • Demonstrable practical knowledge of building fabric / M&E refurbishment works – at a trade supervisory or managerial level
  • SMSTS Accreditation

Dit ga je doen als Fitter

Leidingwerk is één van de kernactiviteiten van Equans op onze locatie in Hoek. Een ervaren fitter hoeven we niet uit te leggen wie of wat we zoeken. Maar we zijn juist ook geïnteresseerd in minder ervaren mensen met de juiste competenties die beschikken over ‘ruimtelijk inzicht’ en ‘gevoel voor techniek en geometrie’. Bijvoorbeeld mensen die voortijdig met hun opleiding zijn gestopt maar passie hebben voor de techniek. Wij leiden je graag op tot de fitter (niveau 4) van de toekomst.

Je takenpakket als fitter is breed:

Je kunt ingezet worden bij onze klant DOW op locatie of je werkt in onze shop gevestigd aan ons kantoor in Hoek maar de werkzaamheden zijn hetzelfde, de werkomstandigheden zijn hierbij wel anders.  Als fitter werk je meestal met grote dikwandige buizen, die volgens werktekeningen met elkaar verbonden dienen te worden tot een installatie. De werktekeningen geven de materiaalspecificaties en afmetingen aan die benodigd zijn. Het is aan de jou om in samenwerking met andere disciplines tot een werkend geheel te komen.

Jouw werkomgeving

Je komt te werken op onze locatie in Hoek. Hier werken diverse teams samen om zo de beste dienstverlening te verzorgen. Op basis van jouw wensen kijken we waar jij het beste past (op locatie bij DOW of in onze shop)

Wie ben jij

  • je hebt mbo werk- en denkniveau en een diploma tot fitter. Heb je nog geen ervaring of diploma als fitter leren wij jou dit graag!
  • je vindt het leuk om jezelf nog verder te ontwikkelen
  • je hebt gevoel voor techniek, ruimtelijk inzicht en je bent creatief.

Security Specialist

Dit ga je doen als Security Specialist.

Samen met collega’s beoordeel en adviseer je onze klanten. Je helpt mee aan de uitbreiding en ontwikkeling van onze IT- en OT-dienstverlening. Je helpt klanten en collega's met security vraagstukken en met het oplossen van concrete beveiligingsproblemen. Je fungeert als 2e lijn voor onze SOC dienstverlening en levert daar waar nodig je input.

Jouw werkomgeving

Jij komt te werken op het kantoor in Beek waar de afdeling CID zich bevindt. CID staat voor: Cybersecurity, infrastructure & Datacenter. Dit team bestaat uit ervaren consultants en gecertificeerde IT-specialisten. Al meer dan 10 jaar zorgen wij ervoor dat o.a. Energieberdrijven, ziekenhuizen, (semi)overheden, industrieën en IT bedrijven beschikken over betrouwbare, veilige en up-to-date IT-infrastructuur en data.

Au sein d'un bureau d'études d'exécution, vous serez en charge de la production des livrables des études électriques sur des sujets de Villes et Territoires connectés. Vous concevrez des solutions de sûreté IP  (vidéoprotection/contrôle d'accès/ anti intrusion / interphonie).

Vos missions :

  • Concevoir des projets d’installations en courants faibles (architectures systèmes, synoptiques réseaux, plan de câblage, plan de baie, bilan de bande passante… )  
  • Faire des visites et relevés de terrain en vue de récolter les données d'entrée nécessaires
  • Réunir les données techniques, photos, éléments juridiques et normatifs pour la réalisation de plans et dossiers d'éxécution 
  • Collecter toutes les informations nécessaires à l’établissement du Dossier des Ouvrages Exécutés, et le mettre en forme suivant le cahier des charges du client
  • Alimenter la base de données du suivi des équipements (GLPI)
  • Collaborer avec les équipes opérationnelles

Votre profil :

De formation Bac+2/3 dans un domaine du génie Electrique / Electrotechnique, vous avec au minimum 2 ans d'expérience réussie sur ce poste.

Vous savez  lire et concevoir des plans d’ensembles et de détails.

Vous avez des compétences techniques suivantes :

  • Autocad,
  • Caneco ou équivalent,
  • Norme NFC 15-100.

Vous êtes rigoureux, vous avez un bon esprit analytique, le sens des responsabilités, un bon relationnel et une bonne communication.

Vous aimez travailler en équipe et vous savez aller chercher l'information technique nécessaire.

Requis : Permis B et Habilitation électrique
