Maintenance Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team providing maintenance at Barnet General Hospital. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the M&E Supervisor
- Assist electrical, mechanical and fabric technicians as required
- Undertake maintenance technical duties that are within training and competence, both as planned and reactive work.
- To order materials and services as required and update records
- Carry out emergency light testing, replacement of light bulbs and chokes / ballasts unit, maintenance of air conditioning / fan coil units etc.
- To oversee specialist sub-contractors
- To cover for other technicians as necessary in various buildings
- To participate in the on call rota and work to the demands of the business
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Mon to Fri.
The person:
- Must have basic maintenance experience
- Must have experience of building services and to have worked in an estates/facilities function ideally in a healthcare setting
- Desirable to have knowledge of Legionella and maintaining Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV’s)
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude
- Good IT skills - Maximo/CAFM experience would be desirable

Finance Business Partner

What will you deliver?
- Partnering with the contract teams by providing financial information and interpretation, undertaking proactive analytical and other investigations, contributing to developing a better understanding of the business and improving operational performance.
- Provide expert accounting, reporting and all necessary financial expertise for the portfolio.
- Balance sheet and Controllable Working Capital analysis and forecasting.

Associate Project Director
EQUANS is looking for an Associate Project Director to join our team covering North London and Essex region on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, car allowance, and benefits package.
The associate project director has overall responsibility for the successful conclusion of construction projects. You will oversee project managers, who coordinate teams to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget, to a high standard. The associate project director will provide leadership to strategically manage risk, monitor finances and ensure each phase of work is started or completed on time.
This role will be three-fold, firstly overseeing the portfolio of organisational projects, providing expert knowledge and support and monitoring progress and reporting on the portfolio status.
Secondly managing projects directly through the Sector Project Managers and actively coordinate the delivery of new projects through the PMO.
Finally, the development, introduction and on-going iteration of the organisation’s Project Delivery Approach. The role is expected to provide strong leadership in a continuously changing environment to promote best practices in managing interrelated projects and programmes to ensure successful delivery. This role will also ensure project resources have the correct toolsets and processes in place and that all relevant staff are trained and equipped to deliver successfully. Strong project or programme management and excellent organisational skills are fundamental, as is the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organisation.
What will you deliver?
Technical Accountabilities
- To support, create, oversee, and control delivery of the PMO project plans for the business whilst working closely with account leads
- Should have sound technical knowledge and a background in a similar industry to help write scope of works documents for projects that are in line with any best practises, BS standards or HTMs/HBNs and other industry guidance
- Consult with the local site teams to ensure that the correct contractual route is being followed, an example of this being the level of maintenance to justify approval for replacement and then creating the relevant technical justification for a Draw Down Request
- Understand and be able to objectively review Compliance, Legislative and Operational documentation, and manuals
Project Management Delivery Accountabilities
- Develop and manage projects through resource plans, communication, and processes

- Work closely with the Commercial, Legal and Procurement teams on any contracts that need to be created to support our position pre and post any project

Senior SHEQ Manager
EQUANS is looking for a Senior SHEQ Manager to join our team in Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a fulltime role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The main purpose is to ensure, in conjunction with the regional Head of SHEQ and local MD that adequate arrangements are made within each service provision for the effective implementation and operation of ISO standards and systems. The postholder will also ensure that all resources either internal or outsourced are used effectively to support the business. To understand, adhere and implement the company SHEQ policy / strategy, and ensure all those reporting to you do the same.
What will you deliver?
- Ensure equal SHEQ support is provided across all northern service areas inc.
- Delivering on the SHEQ strategy within the north.
- Efficient management of resources allocated to the division.
- Manage and support multi-skilled team effectively across north east and north west
- Ensuring that data with regards to SHEQ performance is effectively captured, at contract and Business Unit level and analysed to enable improvement plans to be developed and implemented
- Ensure SHEQ elements of monthly reporting through the MBR process are consistent at contract level and to consolidate and report at a consolidated Business Unit level
- Work with operational teams across northern region to construct, implement and achieve standardisation
- To ensure that division is kept abreast of changes in H & S legislation.
- Providing support and guidance to the region on technical, legal and other issues as required.
- Proactively working with operational teams during the project lifecycle to ensure that SHEQ is considered at all stages and that relevant control measures are identified
- Assisting the business with the implementation of the ISO standards and systems
- Monitor and manage SHEQ systems relating to the region
- Undertaking ‘active’ monitoring and auditing of the companies sites, providing feedback via the company’s reporting system
- Highlighting areas where poor practice and/or significant risk have occurred.
- Manage incidents and the coordination of detailed factual reports identifying root causes and recommendations for improvement
- Producing management reports detailing levels of SHEQ performance and other such information as required
- Ensuring that any incident that falls within the scope of RIDDOR is reported to the HSE
- Ensuring that any incident that is deemed to have posed a significant risk to the division or is reportable under RIDDOR is fully investigated and reported to Regional Managing Director
- Assisting the individual service Directors with the implementation of the ISO standards and systems
- Dealing with the HSE, the Environment Agency, insurers and other bodies in the event of a major incident or as required.
- Managing responses to insurance claims relating incidents with the region they cover.
- Working with the Individual service Directors on the development and implementation of local strategies for improvement
- Work alongside broader Northern SHEQ team to produce trend analysis with regards to good and bad practice, near misses, dangerous occurrences and incidents.

Customer Service Representative
Working in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council EQUANS is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team based in Winsford on a permanent basis. This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £14,040 per annum and benefits package.
You will work as part of a multi-functional Face to Face team, primarily working at a triage/reception point welcoming visitors and customers to the building. Duties to include: Greeting visitors/customers and creating a positive first impression of the company, directing visitors and answering their questions, notifying other workers of visitor arrival, operating car park barriers, keeping accurate administration records, assisting customers to report issues.
Please note before applying - the hours are 22.5 hours per week 8.30am to 1.00pm or 12.30pm to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.

Sustainability Manager
EQUANS is looking for a Sustainability Manager to join our team in Wath upon Dearne, South Yorkshire on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
The main purpose of the role is to raise regional profile of green solutions within the region, identifying and working up proposals for clients and consultants with a view to securing profitable offerings. This will include extensive working with different departments and teams, providing support and guidance on retrofit and sustainability issues. What will you deliver?
- Work closely with the Regional Senior Management Team and Business Development Team to identify opportunities for EQUANS around Sustainability, leading and supporting on client needs around Energy Efficiency Works
- Lead on the development of Retrofit Schemes including assessment of stock, development of viable technical solutions in line with required outputs, and development of funding solutions.
- Providing guidance and support to operational teams ensuring all Retrofit/Sustainability schemes are delivered in line with funding and technical compliance i.e. PAS 2030:2019, PAS 2035:2019, MCS etc, working closely with Central Sustainability Team to ensure compliance.
- Be the ‘regional expert’ on Energy Efficiency and Retrofit, ensuring the Senior Leadership Teams are kept up to date on market opportunities to drive the Business Plan
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities on order to deliver in line with Regional Business Plan Targets.

Dit ga je doen als Beheertechnicus
Als Beheertechnicus in de dagdienst ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en de bedrijfsbeschikbaarheid van de gebouw gebonden installaties en procesinstallaties van onze klant ASML in Veldhoven. Dit doe je op een dusdanige manier dat kwaliteit & veiligheid van installaties en personen gewaarborgd blijft. De installaties waar je onder andere mee te maken krijgt zijn; (behandeld) water, perslucht, vacuüm, koeling, verwarming, stoom, (proces)gas en gebouw gebonden installaties en de bijbehorende gebouwbeheersystemen.
Bij (ver-)storingen ben jij dé specialist die het probleem aanpakt. Je bekijkt in samenspraak met je collega’s van de ploegendienst hoe en waar de storing ontstaan is en gaat ter plekke onderzoeken wat er nodig is om de storing op te lossen. Voor het oplossen van repeterende en complexere (ver)storingen is kennis/ervaring in meet en regeltechniek, PLC en software een pré. Daarnaast zijn er een aantal vaste nevenactiviteiten die door het dagdienst team worden opgepakt:
- als kennisdrager kun je gekoppeld worden aan (complexe) projecten om een bijdrage te leveren aan het op een correcte manier tot stand komen van veiligstelplannen zodat productievoortgang en veiligheid gegarandeerd zijn
- als er zich een calamiteit voordoet op de campus (technisch, gas, chemie, brand, ehbo) ben je onderdeel van het technical response team dat samen met de BHV organisatie van ASML het incident aan gaat pakken
- invallen in de 5-ploegendienst in geval van vakantie en ziekte. Deze invalmomenten worden altijd in overleg met jou afgestemd en van tevoren besproken wanneer mogelijk
- je fungeert als sparringpartner voor diverse collega’s uit verschillende afdelingen over technisch inhoudelijke zaken
Dit breng je mee
- je hebt een afgeronde opleiding op MBO-niveau 4 in de richting Elektrotechniek, Werktuigbouwkunde of Installatietechniek
- je hebt kennis van gebouw gebonden en industriële installaties
- het is een pré als je ervaring meeneemt in het werken met gebouwbeheersystemen en PLC software
- je bent in het bezit van een VCA-VOL en NEN3140 certificaat
- je bent accuraat ingesteld en werkt oplossingsgericht

Dit ga je doen
Als senior inspecteur ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van inspecties bij verschillende opdrachtgevers. Daarnaast heb je een adviserende rol richting de opdrachtgever om hen te helpen bij de elektrotechnische veilige bedrijfsvoering. Je rapporteert je activiteiten aan je leidinggevende en geeft advies voor het oplossen van geconstateerde afwijkingen, en wat er nodig is om wel aan de normeringen te voldoen. Verder organiseer je de uitvoering van inspecties op klantlocaties en stuur je eventueel enkele inspecteurs aan. In overleg kun je ook taken krijgen op het gebied van aarding en bliksem, noodverlichting, netanalyse, geven van opleiding, ATEX, of thermografie. Je werkzaamheden bestaan verder onder ander uit het
- beoordelen van de risico’s voordat er met de bedrijfsvoering van en werkzaamheden aan elektrotechnische installaties wordt begonnen
- schriftelijk vastleggen van procedures voor elektrotechnische werkzaamheden en verleent toestemming om met werkzaamheden te beginnen
- regulier voeren van overleg met de opdrachtgever waarbij je technisch adviserend optreedt
- schrijven van elektrotechnische veiligheidsplannen, toetsen van de inspectie plannen van de installatie en je bent in staat om complexe schakelhandelingen te verrichten
- uitvoeren van inspecties (NEN3140, thermografie, netanalyses) bij opdrachtgevers waar je niet als installatieverantwoordelijke bent aangesteld
- verzamelen en beheren van de volledige keuringregistratie en je ondersteunt monteurs op het gebied van (internationaal) geldende kwaliteits- en veiligheidsnormen

Je bent uitstekend op de hoogte van de geldende regels en normen en je wordt regelmatig om een elektrotechnisch advies gevraagd, waar je niet alleen deskundig, maar ook klantgericht mee omgaat. Je bent een graag geziene gast, jij kunt immers menigeen voorzien van onderbouwde, (elektro)technische adviezen.

- beschik je over minimaal een afgeronde MBO4 of HBO opleiding in de richting van elektrotechniek
