Lead Technician
EQUANS is looking for a Lead Technician to join our team in Ashton-under-Lyne on a permanent basis for our Tameside General Hospital contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
Based at Tameside General Hospital the Lead technician will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standards within the Tameside Hospital contract. They will provide guidance to others on site, showing technical expertise in Facilities Management delivery, to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery.
• Accountable to the Technical Services Manager (TSM) for the day-to-day supervision, monitoring and performance of the contract.
• To be accountable for the workflow throughout the team and to work closely with the helpdesk to provide efficient and effective maintenance delivery
• Support TSM/TSS in the planning and implementation of change to improve service and operational quality and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate co-operation between Technical, Security, Helpdesk and Client staff.
• Balance and allocate as required Planned Works, Reactive Works and Lifecycle works, to ensure contract compliance with Service Level agreement timeframes.
• Install, commission and service plant equipment and industrial furniture.
• Diagnose fault-find, debug and commission systems, monitor and assess ongoing machine/facility performance, through PPM program, identifying any additional works required.
• Assist TSS in pricing of minor works
• Ensure maintenance and other records are maintained to an appropriate standard and in accordance with site policy. Ensure all are up to date and be involved with all technical and non-technical audits
• Requirement to take on Authorised Person, Competent Person or Responsible Person duties once fully trained and site aware for multiple disciplines
• Interface with suppliers and service providers as required to meet the needs of the service Organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
• Lead and organise Team meetings, including delivery of Toolbox talks and other training
• Escalate issues to TSM as appropriate.
• Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems and deal with them to their conclusion.
• Supervise with TSS and participate in the on-call system.
• Assist other Equans Healthcare contacts if required
• CAFM knowledge and experience, running reports, interrogating the system, analysing workload etc.
• Take responsibility for up to multiple AP duties
Impact:
The individual will play a vital role in Equans, working alongside an already established technical team to ensure that the operations are legally and contractually compliant and represent excellence in service delivery.
Complexity:
The primary complexities of the role are around the management of the workflow from Helpdesk/Maximo through to completion and sign off.
Communication with clients and customers is critical to this role. Working in a live hospital, 24/7, requires careful planning of Maintenance works and collaboration with stakeholders is key.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
• Strong customer focus with experience of delivering high standards of Customer Service. Previous FM experience within a hospital and/or PFI environment would be an advantage
• Good knowledge, experience and understanding of HTM`s would be an advantage
• Currently trained and or experienced in RP/ AP duties in at least two of the following: water management (Legionella), ventilation in healthcare premises, medical gases, etc. would be an advantage but not essential.
• Apprentice trained and qualified/experienced within a mechanical/electrical background.
• Basic computer literate.
• Understanding of HR related items.
• Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
• Preferably experienced with HVAC, pump systems, medical gases, steam systems, pressure systems, water systems and legionella.
• Knowledge of Building Management systems.
• Sound knowledge of the practical implementation of Health & Safety.
• Full driving licence required.

To assist the Commercial Manager with effective financial management during pre-commencement stage in order to reduce risk and increase target contribution prior to commencement on site.
To play a fundamental role within the site team to ensure the efficient delivery of each scheme. It is also essential that the SQS undertakes financial management and accurate reportage, in accordance with company procedures.
To assist the CM in financial pre-commencement activities such as pricing of works for submission to client, appointment of consultants, initial subcontract negotiations.

Equans is looking for an HR Advisor to join our team in Central Functions on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensure implementation of all Company Policies and Procedures.
- To keep all Residents fully informed as to the programme of works regarding their particular dwelling.
- Comprehensive induction of all residents in accordance with processes.
- To regularly visit Residents to establish and resolve any problems that may arise or have already arisen.
- To work closely with the Client and their representatives (including Housing Department) in ensuring good relations are maintained with the Tenants and the expeditious execution of the works.
- To immediately inform the Site Manager of any serious problems arising.
- To prepare a report every week for the Site of events occurring / affecting Residents. This report is to include: All complaints or problems encountered and how they have been remedied, confidential notes on problem addresses.
- To be responsible for meter readings at Contract and Decant Houses where appropriate.
- To deal with customer complaints in accordance with the QA Procedure.
- To attend site meetings/team meetings/Client meetings or any meetings relevant to site.
- Community awareness and targeted engagement activities specific to each Client
- To provide Handover Packs and instruct on new installations.
- Assist with training and support for new Team Members
- Respond courteously and promptly to all customer queries and complaints and ensure a copy is recorded in accordance with procedures.
- Accurately record all customer complaints and process as per QA procedure.
- Keep residents informed as to action taken in respect of their complaints.
- Advise Site Manager directly and immediately of any situations that have, or are likely to, cause conflict with Customers
- Be responsible for your safety and others around you, including public protection
- Make every effort to attend all mandatory courses related to your role
- Comply with all the roles and responsibilities as set out within the SHEQ management system

Digital Product Owner E-Mobility Operations
Shape the future of sustainable mobility
De ontwikkelingen bij Equans E-Mobility gaan razendsnel. We beheren momenteel al meer dan 30.000 publieke laadpunten voor elektrische voertuigen, van de in totaal 80.000 in Nederland. En tegen 2030 hebben we naar schatting 400.000 laadpunten nodig om het Nederlandse wagenpark te kunnen verduurzamen als onderdeel van de energietransitie.
Om dit te bereiken, moeten we voortdurend onze manier van werken verbeteren en onze digitale gereedschapskist blijven ontwikkelen. We zijn daarom op zoek naar een product owner.
Dit ga je doen als Digital Product Owner E-Mobility Operations
In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor de visie en doorontwikkeling van onze bestaande en nieuwe digitale oplossingen die voornamelijk gebouwd zijn op het Mendix platform.

Senior Engineer Hoogspanning
Garandeer jij dat alle elektrotechnische werkzaamheden op hoogspanningsgebied volgens plan verlopen en heb je tussen de 5 - 10 jaar ervaring als engineer op zowel het gebied van laag- en hoogspanning? - beoordelen van offertes van leveranciers en vergelijkingsanalyse maken
- opstellen van ombouwplan voor hoogspanning en veldbekabeling

Engineer HVAC
Als Engineer HVAC ben jij samen met collega’s op onze Equans-locatie in Halsteren verantwoordelijk voor de engineering van diverse projecten in de regio Zuidwest. Binnen deze projecten verzorg jij de engineering van diverse HVAC-installaties. Kom jij bijdragen aan de verduurzaming van Nederland?
Ben jij nog te junior als Engineer maar heb jij wel ervaring in het ontwerpen van HVAC-installaties en wil je graag die stap zetten? Ook dan willen wij jou uitnodigen om te solliciteren.
Dit ga je doen als Engineer HVAC
Jij ontwerpt als Engineer reguliere HVAC-installaties maar daarnaast ontwerp je ook klant specifieke installaties die Equans op verzoek van de klant ontwerpt en bouwt. De projecten en installaties die je ontwerpt zijn divers van aard. Het ene moment ben je bezig met verschillende projecten binnen de utiliteit zoals een kantoorgebouw of een logistieke locatie maar op andere momenten ben je bezig met complexe projecten. Jouw werkzaamheden als Engineer HVAC bestaan uit:
- behandelen van vraagstukken van onze vaste opdrachtgevers met mooie en complexe technologieën waar jij je in vast kan bijten. Je hebt daarbij direct contact met de klant, en adviseert deze over de installaties en bij het nemen van beslissingen
