Premises Officer

Equans is looking for a Premises Officer to join our team in COLAT, Enfield Lower site – 50 London Road, Enfield, London, EN2 6EL, on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £30,000 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday 0630 - 1530 flexible to work evenings where required. 1 hr unpaid break 

Please note an enhanced DBS is required for this position. 

What will you deliver as a Premises officer.

To provide a focal point for the resolution of facilities requests reported either onsite or through the dedicated facilities management helpdesk. To ensure the satisfactory completion of any assigned tasks including installations, repairs, planned maintenance tasks and also general premises checks.

Facilities Manager (Soft FM/Workplace Solutions)

EQUANS is looking for a Facilities Manager (soft services) to join our team in Winsford on a permanent basis. This is a fulltime role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 

EQUANS Services Ltd are recruiting for a Facilities Operational Manager to lead and deliver a Workplace Solutions and Face-to-Face service to Cheshire West and Chester council. This is a permanent full-time role and will report into the Head of Service Delivery. This role requires you to oversee all aspects off Workplace Solutions delivery within the scope of the contract.  The post holder will be required to deal with various challenges that arise as part of the  contract and resolve any challenges as they present. The post holder must be able to provide assurance of service delivery to Senior Management, client and customers.

What will you deliver? 

  • Lead the delivery of Soft FM services, ensuring they meet contractual commitments and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Act as the main point of contact between EQUANS and Cheshire West & Chester Council for Soft FM operations, including major events and business continuity planning.

Semi Skilled Operative M&E

Equans is looking for a Semi Skilled Operative (M&E) to be based at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, based on a shift pattern that includes days, evenings and weekends. On offer is a salary banding of £27,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience, a fixed monthly unsocial allowance and benefits package.
 

What will you deliver?

  • Support the Estates Management in the provision of a 24hr maintenance Service within the Portsmouth Hospital Trust for the service provider
  • Promote a culture of customer service to both internal and external customers and partners and to liaise with other departments regarding maintenance issues if required
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks and duties relevant to the post
  • After suitable training and guidance diagnose faults, repair and maintain complex equipment in accordance with Health Technical Memorandum (HTM’s) and other specialised hospital equipment
  • Carry out the work of other trades where there is an interface to the work in hand with a level of competence that’s outside core trade
  • Carry a radio or pager to facilitate immediate response
  • Work in highly unpleasant working conditions, unblocking drains and sewers, which include biological hazards of body fluids and noxious fumes
  • Carry out replacement of lamps and cleaning of all types of light fittings
  • Carry out  cleaning, labouring and driving tasks associated with Estates maintenance as instructed
  • Observe statutory and other relevant requirements at all times in particular those relating to the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations and Electrical IEE regulations

Finance Business Partner

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our team working flexibly under a hybrid model both in the office and at home. The role can be based in our Welwyn office but we are happy to consider other base locations – London, Cambridge, Kent, Birmingham and Manchester. Key activities

  • Will be responsible for monthly project(s) financial results including the identification and production of variance analysis against the relevant forecasts, via detailed understanding of project expenditure, risks and opportunities
  • Ensure accounting in line with Equans policies and IFRS standards
  • Will be responsible for the production and analysis of key performance indicators based on all business areas
  • Notify managers of trends and work with them on options/ways to achieve company targets
  • Budgetary control. Support project sites (Project Manager, Operational Excellence, Quantity Surveyors, etc) to keep the project cost model and local risk register up to date
  • Review the model (integrity + reconciliation with SAP) and constructively challenge forecast assumptions
  • Key participant in project point reviews
  • Provide forecasting, leading with input from relevant budget holders, the preparation of budgets forecasts, using a clear and driver-based approach
  • Act as a business partner to ensure early identification of risks with successful mitigations
  • Conduct finance reviews at project sites to support adherence to company procedures (i.e., stock, goods receipts) and conduct general and financial audits where relevant
  • Review and drive the contract for general auditing of financial and non-financial obligations as well as for responding to operational queries
  • Produce year end the statutory audit justification as required

Skills & qualification

  • CIMA/ACCA part/fully qualified. Degree in relevant field preferred
  • Construction/infrastructure background
  • Line management experience

  • Financial diligence and attention to detail - Ability to be timely and accurate in the presentation of financial information in a pressured environment

Revenues and Benefits Advisor

EQUANS is looking for a Revenues and Benefits Advisor to join our team based at North Tyneside Council, NE30 on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £24,570 per annum, dependant upon skills and experience as well as benefits package. 

 

The position is responsible for undertaking all aspects of administrative processing to deliver the full range of Revenue and Benefit Services. Ensure all work is dealt with in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with all relevant statutory regulations, policies and procedures. The state-of-the-art MITC - consisting of manufacturing, laboratory, plant rooms, clean rooms and offices - is responsible for the development and manufacturing of Moderna’s pharmaceutical products. Equans is looking for a Contract Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

 

The site consists of manufacturing, clean rooms, laboratory, office and plant rooms. The nature of their business requires their Lab and manufacturing areas to meet clean room standards. The maintenance of their HVAC equipment is of the upmost importance to ensure their production and science always remains operational. This is a TFM account and will also incorporate the cleaning of the office, labs and production area as well as catering and grounds maintenance.

 

As an Equans representative and main point of contact with the Client, the importance of this role cannot be overestimated. It is essential that all works are carried in a cost effective, timely manner, maximising revenue, where possible.

What will you deliver?

  • To be accountable for the financial performance of the contracts
  • To ensure personnel manage the contract to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • To ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients
  • To operate a Permit to Work System in accordance with Equans Technical and SHEQ processes and client requirements (or approved client system)
  • To review monthly audit checks demonstrating legislative compliance within scope of service delivery streams and to escalate to the portfolio director as necessary
  • To ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups
  • To ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the CAFM system
  • To ensure cleaning team always meets Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) cleaning standards
  • To be on call as part of the management team
  • To maintain commercial understanding of the client contractual deliverables across all services
  • To work with operational management to develop performance measurement and improvement objectives in line with business plan through positive collaboration
  • To drive successful contract negotiations and business improvement initiatives
  • To attend and deliver monthly contract performance meetings with the customer and demonstrate agreed actions have been undertaken satisfactory
  • To drive profit improvement through both sales generation and cost saving initiatives in a collaborative manner with the operations teams

Who are we looking for?

  • Must have a full clean drivers’ licence
  • Must have a recognised hard services industry qualification
  • Must have experience managing TFM within Pharmaceutical or process-controlled environments
  • Experience of using a CAFM system to manage engineering team
  • Computer literate using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Able to build on client relationship
  • Must be available to participate in an out of hour’s on call rota. The role may require the individual to work late from time to time

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.

Als Engineer HVAC bij Equans in Roden ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor de engineering van uiteenlopende projecten in de regio Noord. Je ontwerpt niet alleen reguliere HVAC-installaties, maar ook klant-specifieke oplossingen. Of je nu aan de slag gaat voor een kantoorpand, een zorginstelling of een lichte industriële locatie: geen project is hetzelfde. Hierdoor kun je je vastbijten in mooie en complexe vraagstukken én blijf je jezelf ontwikkelen. Je taken bestaan onder andere uit:

  • behandelen van vraagstukken van vaste opdrachtgevers met geavanceerde technologieën. Je adviseert de klant direct over installaties en denkt mee bij de besluitvorming

Als Tekenaar Utiliteit ben jij een belangrijke schakel in ons engineering- en projectteam. Je zorgt ervoor dat de technische ontwerpen nauwkeurig en volgens afspraak op papier (of digitaal) komen te staan. Of het nu gaat om de verbouwing van een kantoorgebouw of de nieuwbouw van een ziekenhuis – dankzij jouw tekeningen kan de uitvoering vlekkeloos aan de slag.

Je kunt hierbij denken aan de volgende resultaatgebieden:

  • systematisch ordenen van projectdocumenten en tekeningen in een (elektronisch) archief, zodat deze voor iedereen toegankelijk zijn
  • vervaardigen van (bestek)tekeningen, ontwerptekeningen, principeschema’s en detailtekeningen op basis van specificaties, ontwerpen en overige informatie (in overleg met je leidinggevende en/of projectleider)

Dit ga je doen als (jr) projectleider building automation
Als (jr) projectleider building automation ben je verantwoordelijk voor het eindresultaat van ieder project. Je begeleidt de realisatie van de gebouwautomatisering- en meet & regelsystemen voor zowel utilitaire projecten als projecten in de high end industrie.

Daarnaast onderhoudt je contacten met opdrachtgevers, leveranciers, onderaannemers, evt. collega-aannemers en derden.
