Contract Manager
Equans is looking for a Contract Manager to join our team in Oldham on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week.

The role holder is accountable for the delivery of the contract and associated specifications for the Rochdale and Oldham Schools contract. The role is based at Newman RC School.
What will you deliver?
- Manage the delivery of the facilities services for the Oldham and Rochdale Schools account
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed by all personnel involved on contract.
- Work closely with the Client, Authority Representative and Schools to deliver an excellent service in support of their objectives.
- Ensure Equans are meeting SLA’s and KPI’s consistently across all services provided.
- Generate and foster an interdependent Health and Safety culture across all services.
- Manage and understand all aspects of the Oldham and Rochdale profit and loss account and ensure services are delivered as efficiently as possible, taking into account the possibility of Equans group delivery wherever possible and financially viable.
- Ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed using risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and service users.
- Own development of the H&S action plan, sustainability action plan, legal registers and risk registers and complete assigned actions in a timely manner.
- Ensure all accidents and near misses are adequately recorded, investigated and appropriate action taken.
- Produce internal and contractual Monthly and Annual Performance & Lifecycle Reports for review with clients.

- Excellent Customer skills with an ability to manage customer’s expectations within the PFI framework.
- Management experience
- Experience of managing TFM services delivery – both in-house and outsourced.
- Budgetary management and control – management of WIP, Purchase Order management, debt and cash recovery.

Shift Maintenance Assistant

This is a permanent full-time position working an average of 38.5 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 12 hour shifts DAYS and NIGHTS 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00.
The role:
- Reporting to the Shift Lead / M&E Supervisor
- Undertake maintenance technical duties that are within training and competence, both as planned and reactive work.
- To order materials and services as required and update records
- Carry out emergency light testing, replacement of light bulbs and chokes / ballasts unit, maintenance of air conditioning / fan coil units etc.
- To oversee specialist sub-contractors
- To cover for other technicians as necessary in various buildings
- To participate in the on call manager’s rota and work to the demands of the business
- Working an average of 38.5 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 12 hour shifts DAYS and NIGHTS 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00
The person:
- Must have basic maintenance experience
- Must have experience of building services and to have worked in an estates/facilities function ideally in a healthcare setting
- Desirable to have knowledge of Legionella and maintaining Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV’s)
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude
- Good IT skills - Maximo/CAFM experience would be desirable

Mobile Electrician
Equans is looking for a Mobile Electrician to join our team working on our contract with Stoke Schools. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
You will be required to work as part of the in-house Stoke Schools engineering team to deliver all Electrical associated Planned and Reactive works within an Education environment.
What will you deliver?
- Carry out regular planned maintenance on Electrical assets

Electrical Service Maintenance Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Service Maintenance Manager to join our maintenance team working at a prestigious central government building in Westminster. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager - Property Services
- To efficiently manage the provision of Electrical Hard Services according to contractual and commercial requirements.
- To manage all operations to ensure the health and safety of all users of the facilities; to build a relationship of trust with all stakeholders; to build a skilled team that is motivated and engaged.
- Effectively manage processes and develop and implement standards for the site set by the Company and PFI contract.
- To have a good understanding of the PFI contract (PA/CS) – in particular Sch 21
- To build a skilled, collaborative team, that is motivated and engaged to deliver a quality of service that is ”best in class”.
- To manage projects, variations and lifecycle works from inception to completion as required: providing and maintaining all documents, O&M’s/drawing and warranties
- To manage all subcontracted services ensuring subcontractors are able to carry out their duties in a safe and timely manner and that work is contractually compliant.
- To successfully manage all aspects of the PFI contract, in compliance with legislative and contractual requirements, ensuring that all QSE standards are met.
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The person:
- Must have significant experience in a similar role i.e. hard services FM background, ideally in a similar environment
- Relevant industry qualifications ideally to HND level or above in electrical engineering is essential
- Ability to manage workforce teams and strong knowledge in HR managed processes
- Good level of commercial awareness desirable
- Hold a minimum IOSH Health & Safety qualification
- Experience of sub-contractor management

Compliance & Planning Co-ordinator
EQUANS is looking for a Compliance & Planning Coordinator to join our team based at Pinderfields Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £24,297 per annum and benefits package.
Primary function of the role is to support in the scheduling of maintenance tasks delivered by both internal and subcontractor resources across a busy Healthcare facility. This programme of maintenance is primarily delivered and recorded through the sites ‘Computer Aided Facilities Management’ system (Currently Maximo 7.6). the position involves a variety of administration and coordination responsibilities including contractor management, compliance checking to meet the requirements of contractual parameters as well as the collation and submission of maintenance records for audit and assurance purposes.
You will undertake regular checks with the ‘Jeopardy Management’ team to ensure those tasks nearing target rectification have a plan and are being managed accordingly to prevent them missing target completion times as far as practicable. Where required, ensure that local queries are resolved quickly and efficiently or, escalated to the appropriate service supervisors/managers as appropriate.

Programme Planner
EQUANS is looking for a Programme Planner to join our team in Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Initially, the post holder will be based at Manchester joint Hospitals.
The role requires effective co-ordination of the various projects programme’s and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising. It also includes the co-ordination of the new capability for the business to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits. The programme manager is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the overarching programme. They will develop and maintain the programme environment to support each individual project within it. To work as part of a team to build on reputation, capability and delivering efficiently to ensure the projects team maintains a strong project pipeline and develop new leads and clients.
What will you deliver?
- Planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action
- Defining the programme's governance arrangements
- Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the programme, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programmes and corporate, technical and specialist standards
- Providing a real time reporting functionality
- Analysing and reporting on the delivery of new products or services from projects with reference to the level of quality, time, and budget constraints, in accordance with the programme plan and programme governance arrangements
- Ensuring there is allocation of common resources and skills within the programme's individual projects by identifying requirements and advising the Senior Management Team
- Managing third party contributions to the programme
- Managing communications with all stakeholders
- Identify and Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
- Identify and Manage risks to the programme's successful outcome
- Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the programme are identified or issues arise

Hard FM Maintenance Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for an M&E Maintenance Team Leader to join our facilities team working on our Greater Manchester Police maintenance contract at Eccles police station and covering various police stations across Greater Manchester as required. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, plus participation in the on call rota.
The role:

Dit ga je doen als HR Adviseur
In deze dynamische rol ben je actief op verschillende locaties en werk je samen met een breed scala aan HR-collega’s. Je begeleidt de business – leidinggevenden en medewerkers – bij uiteenlopende HR-vraagstukken die de HR Adviesdesk niet kan beantwoorden, of waarbij jouw aanwezigheid ter plaatse nodig is. De afdeling HR
De afdeling HR bevindt zich in een transitiefase naar het click-call-face principe. Hierin ben je een ambassadeur en weet je de business goed te begeleiden naar de juiste middelen en kanalen qua informatievoorziening. Het vraagt tevens van je om in een dynamische omgeving te kunnen werken, om te kunnen gaan met verschillende werkwijzen en je moet in staat zijn om collega’s succesvol aan te spreken op hun houding en gedrag.

Lead Engineer E&I
Wij zijn op zoek naar een Lead Engineer E&I om onze afdeling in Tilburg verder vorm te geven. Dit ga je doen als Lead Engineer E&I
Als Lead Engineer E&I ben je verantwoordelijk voor de leiding over de disciplines E&I- en Hardware Engineering, met een team van ongeveer 7 FTE, binnen de afdeling Automation op onze kantoorlocatie in Tilburg. In onze matrixorganisatie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het inzetten van de juiste medewerkers op diverse projecten, inclusief capaciteitsplanning en het waarborgen van de kwaliteit van het geleverde werk.
Je daagt je medewerkers uit om het beste uit zichzelf te halen en zet hen in op hun sterke punten. Door het goede voorbeeld te geven, inspireer je anderen en spring je bij in projecten waar dat nodig is en fungeer je als meewerkend voorman.
Equans voert uiteenlopende multidisciplinaire projecten uit, variërend van kleinschalige klussen tot grote projecten met een looptijd van enkele maanden in complexe utilitaire en licht industriële omgevingen. Denk hierbij aan ziekenhuizen, kantoorpanden, logistieke locaties en hightech bedrijven. Als (lead) engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de engineering van de besturingsinstallaties, van ontwerp tot detailengineering, binnen een multidisciplinair team.
Je rapporteert aan de afdelingsmanager Automation over de capaciteit, kwaliteit en eventuele bijzonderheden.
Jouw werkzaamheden bestaan uit:
- het juist interpreteren van de wensen en eisen van opdrachtgevers, het onderkennen van de technische problemen en daaruit voortvloeiende consequenties en het vertalen van de wensen van de (interne) klant naar concrete ontwerpen
- je draagt er zorg voor dat de ontwerpen die het team maakt voldoen aan de juiste wensen, eisen, normen en voorschriften. Hierbij heb je een scherp oog voor duurzaamheid, kosten, uitvoerbaarheid en onderhoudsvriendelijkheid
- het inzetten en aansturen van een team op een effectieve en efficiënte wijze. Daarnaast bewaak je de engineeringsplanning, signaleer je afwijkingen en stuurt bij waar nodig
- het bewaken en bijsturen op de kwaliteit van de geleverde producten binnen de projecten
- het op peil houden van kennis en bijhouden van ontwikkelingen binnen het vakgebied. Daarnaast motiveer en begeleid je technisch de engineers binnen het team
- het deelnemen aan overleggen tussen de diverse projectteams en businessunits. Daarnaast onderhoud je contacten met externe en interne (potentiële) klanten, leveranciers en engineerings-/architectenbureaus
- je bent continu opzoeken naar verbeteringen binnen de disciplines en denkt in standaarden
- het verder ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van engineeringsprocessen samen met jouw collega’s in Zuid-Nederland

- je hebt HBO kennis- en denkniveau op elektrotechnisch en besturingstechnisch gebied
