Equans Data Centers are inviting experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers, with an appetite for career progression and/ or promotion, to join our growing Data Center team as a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring the successful testing and commissioning of Data Center plant and equipment whilst maintaining high standards in quality and health and safety.

What will you deliver?

  • Engineering standards: able to interrogate engineering schedules, verification and validation requirements etc.
  • Support commissioning teams and managers in verifying and operating mechanical systems. This involves collaborating with specialist subcontractors and Equans’ Package Managers through commissioning levels 1 to 5.
  • Ascertaining, compiling and preparing commissioning test documentation.
  • Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality. environmental and safety requirements.
  • Attend site commissioning meetings and provide updates for progress reports.
  • Assist the Package Managers with preparation of inspection and test plans for each element of the works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Reactive Lifecycle submissions and track completed works.

Mechanical Technical Services Manager

Equans is looking for a Mechanical Technical Services Manager to join our team at Worcester Royal Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

 

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, the post holder will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the maintenance services in accordance with the requirements of the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Concession Agreement at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

 

Responsible for the effective management of Assistant Technical Services Managers and trade staff ensuring all maintenance activities comply with the statutory, NHS, Trust and Company guidelines.

The post holder will also collaborate and co-operate with the Service Providers to deliver customer focused, cost effective and efficient maintenance service.

What will you deliver?

  • Manage and co-ordinate directly employed labour and sub-contractors in reacting to breakdowns and implementing the Planned Preventative Maintenance Systems
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory, NHS, Trust and Company guidelines
  • Provide technical assurance advice across the discipline of maintenance services
  • Review and develop the quality of service at an operational level and Control expenditure as delegated by the Contract Manager
  • Ensure all staff are trained and aware of health and safety responsibilities in accordance with statutory, NHS and Trust guidelines and the companies Incident and Behavioural Safety Initiatives
  • Positively manage relationships with stakeholders and Trust representatives to enhance perception of service provision
  • Prepare estimates for new works & lead support as required for projects
  • Responsible for specific elements of budgetary control and give additional support with financial controls with reference to departmental budgetary control, stock, contracts etc
  • Responsible for bringing to the attention of all Senior Management any unsafe working conditions, working practices, unsafe plant or equipment encountered during the execution of duties including reporting on the company AIMS system
  • Responsible for the execution of any other estates and facilities related duties in an emergency/urgent situation, as directed by the Senior Management Team
  • Participate as a member of the Estates Team by achieving Authorised Person (AP) status in a number of disciplines as required and directed by Senior Management Team
  • Responsible for participating in the ‘on call’ rota as and when required, after suitable training and relevant experience is gained as directed by Senior Management
  • Responsible for supervision and participating in a ‘recall to work’ procedure for emergency repairs as required when not on call

Als Allround Beheertechnicus ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en onderhoud aan de technische installaties. Jij bent als een sturende factor richting de servicetechnici, onderaannemers en de klant. Het is jouw taak om gepland onderhoud uit te (laten) voeren of om een storing aan deze installaties op te lossen. Dit ga je doen als Engineer Elektrotechniek
Als Engineer Elektrotechniek bij Equans in Roden ben je verantwoordelijk voor de engineering van diverse elektrotechnische installaties in de industrie en utiliteit. Je werkt aan verschillende multidisciplinaire projecten in de lichte industrie en utiliteit en zorgt dat engineeringsvraagstukken op een gedegen manier worden aangepakt. In de functie van Engineer Elektrotechniek ben je ook verantwoordelijk voor de aansturing van een ontwerpteam bestaande uit onder andere tekenaars, BIM Modelleurs en Junior Engineers. Afhankelijk van de grootte en complexiteit van het project kan dit team qua grootte en samenstelling veranderen. Daarnaast werk je ook samen met collega engineers van andere disciplines.

Binnen de functie van Engineer Elektrotechniek bestaan je taken en verantwoordelijkheden uit het:

  • engineeren van complete licht, kracht- en zwakstroominstallaties. Je bent hierbij verantwoordelijk voor de concepten, de detailuitwerking en adviseert de collega’s van de afdeling uitvoering waar nodig
  • opstellen van vermogenslijsten, grond- en installatieschema’s, kabellijsten e.d.
  • vertalen van de wensen van de (interne) klant naar concrete ontwerpen op het gebied van elektrotechnische installaties
  • zorgdragen dat je samen met jouw ontwerpteam een ontwerp maakt dat voldoet aan de wensen van de klant, kwaliteitsnormen en eisen vanuit wet- en regelgeving. Hierbij heb je een scherp oog voor duurzaamheid, uitvoerbaarheid en onderhoudsvriendelijkheid. Daarnaast houdt je rekening met de project- en onderhoudskosten voor de klant
  • opstellen van vermogenslijsten, grond- en installatieschema’s, kabellijsten e.d.
  • uitvoeren van werkzaamheden op een effectieve en efficiënte wijze

Dit breng je mee

  • een afgeronde HBO opleiding in de richting Elektrotechniek met specialisatie Energietechniek
  • je hebt enkele jaren werkervaring als elektrotechnisch Engineer
  • je hebt kennis van de veelvoorkomende elektrotechnische disciplines en bent in staat verschillende werkzaamheden te coördineren
  • je hebt kennis van elektrotechnische normen (zoals NEN1010), documenten en tekeningen

  • Assurer la maintenance technique préventive et curative de chaudières, installations froid, centrales de traitement d’air et production ECS, dans le respect des règles de sécurité et des exigences contractuelles.
