Electrician

EQUANS are recruiting for an Electrician to be based in Belfast. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and fuel card and benefits package.

General Overview:

A person with a proven track record of Electrical installations, repair and maintenance work. Further specifications below.

  • Understand the aims and objectives of EQUANS and your service area, together with your role in service delivery.
  • Ensure that the services provided are to the highest quality/standard with due recognition of client and customer requirements and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with EQUANS customer care values and Equal Opportunities Policies.
  • Planning and prioritising work within recognised safe systems and in accordance with all aspects of health and safety legislation at all times.
  • Participate in a team working approach to the allocation of duties, supporting and working effectively with colleagues to provide good working relationships within the service.
  • Undertake any training as identified through the performance review process continually seeking improvement and developing best practice.
  • Adhere to and apply legislation and EQUANS procedures as appropriate.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties (with competence and experience) as requested, in accordance with changing organisational directives.

Impact:

  • To carry out efficient and cost-effective installation/repair and maintenance of domestic, commercial electrical installations, annual servicing, minor works schemes, in the EQUANS Building Portfolio.
  • Ability to interpret design drawings, electrical circuit diagrams, manufacturers specifications and instructions.
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification of sub-standard installations in accordance with current regulations i.e. IEE 18th Edition regulations.
  • Ensure all works conform to the requirements of EQUANS Safe Systems of Work for Low Voltage work, and BS 7671:2018 and complete all appropriate documentation and test certificates.
  • Carry out repair/modification/replacement work within contract scope, as instructed by Supervisors/Management.
  • Completion and timely submission of appropriate documentation.
  • Ensure that standards and quality of work produced is in accordance with best practice and fit for purpose.
  • Be actively involved in the development of apprentice training.
  • Participation in the Call Out Rota.

  • AM2.

  • IEE 18th Edition.

Engineering Manager - Planned Maintenance

Equans is looking for an Engineering Manager - Planned Maintenance to join our team at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth, PO6 3LY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £53,000 - £55,000 per annum dependent upon skills and experience. In addition you will receive an excellent benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Maintain and develop Statutory/Mandatory compliant systems to support the delivery of a professional Hard Facilities Management function at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, to ensure compliance with the Contract, relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Coordinate and plan remedial repairs by contractors and site staff which require parts or services with lead times.
  • Give technical support to Control Room staff in the correct allocation of Planned Maintenance Tasks to appropriately qualified engineering staff or sub-contractors.
  • Responsible for ensuring full contractual compliance for availability of assets which will include the development of appropriate maintenance strategies and the undertaking of all planned work, liaise with Technical and Compliance Manager
  • To plan and deliver all statutory, mandatory, and preventative maintenance.
  • Plan annual inspections and audits for statutory compliance, quality assurance, and Joint Trust audits.
  • Develop and maintain the 5-year Asset Life Cycle replacement plan for agreement with THC.
  • The post holder shall perform AP duties for which they are suitably experienced, qualified, or trained and appointed.

  • IOSH Managing Safely and / or NEBOSH Certificate

Decontamination Engineer

EQUANS are recruiting for a Decontamination Engineer to be based at the Queen Alexandria Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.   • Support in the provision of 24 hr maintenance services within the Hospital Estate

  • Carry out weekly process control testing and maintenance of all decontamination plant
  • Ranging for Automated Endoscope Reprocessers , Washer Disinfectors , Porous load Sterilizers , Small Load sterilizers , Ultrasonic Cleaners , Reverse Osmosis Plants & steam generators.
  • Be part of the shift pattern including day shifts, late shifts and 1 weekend in 4

Part Time Afternoon Cleaner

Equans is looking for a Part time Afternoon Cleaner to join our team in Chelmsford County and Family Proceedings Court, CM2 0PP, on a permanent basis working 10 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11.79 per hour and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday 16:00pm - 18:00pm 

What will you deliver?

As the on-site Cleaner, you’ll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public. 

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Static Technical Operative - Mechanical

Equans is looking for a Static Technical Operative (Mechanical) to join our team in Strand, Holborn for our HMCTS contract on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:
To work as a Mechanical engineer with electrical qualification. This Role is to provide both reactive and planned maintenance task as well as replacements though minor works and lifecycle. The role is to maintain the HVAC systems. To manage the sites BMS. And to over see daily operational of cooling towers. 

Qualifications
Desirable to have an NVQ (or similar) in electrical and Mechanical studies.
Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. 
Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding planned and reactive activities and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
To develop a good working relationship with all members of Equans staff, subcontractors and the client representatives.
Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To always include the wearing of uniform and PPE.
Ensure the professional image of Equans is presented to clients at all times
Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of Equans are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site carrying out associated with electrical and all FM related tasks. 
To arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
To undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
Ensure CAFM system, e.g. Maximo, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
To carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
The position will require you to provide support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.

•Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests

•Support the Helpdesk as required when reporting or updating planned and reactive activities
•Be available for out of hours call-out support for the contract if required

Compliance 
•To gain Technical Appointments as required e.g. LVCP and Water Hygiene CP to permit Lamp changing and L8 activities e.g. tap flushing  
•Produce Condition / Dilapidation Reports as required for fabric assets
•Ensure supervisor is informed immediately if dangerous circumstances occur

SHEQ
•Comply with requests for information from SHEQ manager
•Ensure you work to company health and safety policy
•Ensue PPE is safe to use
•Report accident and near misses in a timely manner
•Ensure your test equipment is within calibration 
•Ensure you follow Method Statements & Risk Assessments for all works

Impact: 
Working to high standard of service, we require a fully reliable and competent Handyman/Fabric Tech who can work on own initiative, within a team or oversee subcontractor’s, producing good quality reports on their findings and work. The role will involve being the face of EQUANS so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others including customers is required.

Complexity:  
The successful candidate will have the ability to work unaided and build rapports with end users and customers, promoting EQUANS’ values. 
Have an excellent knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and/or painting/decorating techniques.
Have an eye for detail and be conscious of quality standards.

Qualifications or Required Experience:  
Qualifications and experience 
• Recognized Mechanical qualifications essential. 
• Recognised Electrical engineering qualification essential.
• 18th Edition wiring Regs. essential
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Desirable)
• Obtain AP status within 3 months (EQUANS LV and Mechanical rules)
• First Aid at Work.
• Experienced fault-finding skills in BMS, LTHW systems, CLTHW systems, pumps, motors, HVAC, LV power systems, 
• Experience in working with Cooling towers (Desirable) 
• IPAF Certificated for 3a & 3b machines (Desirable)
• Experience in fault finding of BMS
• An understanding of the L8 ACOP 
• A robust understanding of Health and Safety is required.
• Knowledge of the Permit to Work system & experience issuing PTW (Desirable).
• To maintain effective communication with the customers at site level
• Always ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
• To carry out any other reasonable tasks that may be required to support the account and the business in general.
• Be able to manage and prioritise the workload.
• Ensure compliance with contract KPIs and SLAs with the support of the Engineering Supervisor.
• Participation in the account out of hours call out service on a rota basis.

In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het verrichten van onderhoud, het verhelpen van storingen en het uitvoeren van technische werkzaamheden aan eenvoudige gebouw gebonden installaties. Denk hierbij aan elektrische storingen, spanningsuitvallen defecte verlichting, loodgieterswerkzaamheden etc. Ook voer je inspectierondes uit, waarbij je een grote hoeveelheid gelijksoortige installaties controleert en storingen signaleert.

Jouw werkzaamheden zijn verder:

  • kleinschalige storingen (E/W) signaleren en oplossen aan eenvoudige technische installaties
  • het verrichten van technisch facilitaire werkzaamheden
  • jouw bevindingen en acties noteren en rapporteren in Planon

Application Engineer

De komende vijf jaar, en misschien zelfs tien jaar, werken wij bij Equans aan de onderhoud van vijf bekende Nederlandse tunnels. Te noemen: Leidsche Rijntunnel, Schipholtunnel, Velsertunnel, Wijkertunnel en Zeeburgertunnel. En daarvoor zoeken wij onder andere een application engineer. Je komt te werken in een vast team en een vast project voor langere tijd. Heb jij enig idee hoeveel technische installaties er in een tunnel zitten?

Equans is betrokken van voorontwerp tot aan de realisatie. Wij voeren activiteiten uit ten behoeve van het upgraden van verschillende systemen in meerdere tunnels. Denk aan systemen als CCTV, audio, noodstroomvoorzieningen, tunnelventilatie, etc. Deze systemen zijn inmiddels verouderd en dienen vernieuwd te worden. Alles dient zoveel mogelijk te voldoen aan de laatste normen en richtlijnen, maar moet ook worden ingepast in de bestaande systemen. Om dat passend te maken, werken we het concept uit, samen met de opdrachtgever Rijkswaterstaat in één team. Equans vertaalt met zijn leveranciers de conceptuele vraag naar een technisch uitvoerbaar ontwerp en voert deze vervolgens uit.

Dit ga je doen als Application Engineer
Als application engineer bij Equans kom je aan afwisseling niets tekort. Je komt namelijk terecht in een grootschalig concern met al haar mogelijkheden en bij de specialistische afdeling op engineerings- en automatiseringsgebied.

Met je specialistische kennis van systemen of technieken ben je de ‘technische spil’ binnen het projectteam. Je vertaalt de functionele eisen en wensen van de klant naar een automatiseringsoplossing en maakt een conceptueel, functioneel en technisch ontwerp. Je werkt samen met collega application engineers en programmeert en test de PLC/SCADA en/of DCS-applicaties. Ook de acceptatietesten (FAT/SAT), het functioneel testen op de locatie van onze opdrachtgevers en het verzorgen van de documentatie behoren tot je taken.

Een uitdagende functie waar je de nodige ruimte krijgt om je verder te ontwikkelen in één of meer technologiegebieden binnen de industriële automatisering.

Je voornaamste verantwoordelijkheden en werkzaamheden bestaan uit:
- het analyseren van functionele en technische eisen van onze opdrachtgever
- het programmeren van de software, op basis van het ontwerp
- het zelfstandig ontwerpen, uitwerken en testen van het systeem
- op projectlocatie samen met de inbedrijfstellers verzorgen van de inbedrijf name
- tijdens het gehele project zorgdragen voor een juiste administratie en documentatie
- het meedenken en uitbrengen van verbetervoorstellen
- het verstrekken van kennis en informatie bij eventuele storingen

Jouw werkomgeving
De business unit Infra is een van de business units van Infra & Energie. Bij Infra & Energie maken wij infrastructuur voor mobiliteit en energie slimmer, veiliger en duurzamer. Deze infrastructuur maken wij niet alleen functioneel, wij voegen ook intelligentie toe en maken netwerken integraal toepasbaar. Dat doen wij onder andere voor zon- en windparken, duurzame mobiliteit, tunnels, bruggen, sluizen, wegen en waterkeringen, bediencentrales en smart corridors. Naast ontwerp en realisatie van projecten, nemen wij ook graag het onderhoud en beheer uit handen.

De business unit Infra bestaat uit vijf verschillende teams, waaronder het team automatisering waarin deze rol valt. De business unit Infra opereert landelijk, met twee grote vestigingen in Dordrecht en Zaandam en twee kleinere vestigingen in Goes en Arnhem. Daarnaast wordt er uiteraard op projectlocaties gewerkt.

Dit breng je mee
Voor deze uitdagende functie zijn wij op zoek naar een kandidaat die:
- tenminste een afgeronde hbo-opleiding heeft (bijvoorbeeld elektrotechniek of industriële automatisering);
- tenminste 2 jaar werkervaring heeft binnen de automatisering
- ruime technische kennis heeft van PLC, SCADA en DCS systemen
- ervaring heeft met een projectenorganisatiestructuur
- kennis van de inframarkt heeft
- bekend is met Systems Engineerings-methodiek

EQUANS Chile (EQCL), se encuentra en búsqueda de SUPERVISORA/OR DE MONTAJE DE ESTRUCTURAS que cumpla con supervisar, controlar y asistir la ejecución de las obras civiles que se ejecutan en terreno para los proyectos de transmisión eléctrica . Es responsable de asegurar el cumplimiento de las actividades de obras civiles junto con los procedimientos de trabajo, instructivos técnicos, normativa vigente y recomendaciones y buenas prácticas sugeridas por la ITO para la ejecución de los trabajos. Debe coordinar la maquinaría y recursos necesarios para que las tareas sean ejecutadas de forma segura, en plazo y calidad según la planificación acordada con el cliente y debidamente autorizada por la ITO. Es responsable de efectuar la identificación de los peligros para las actividades de OOCC, proponer la secuencia y metodología constructiva, verificar la idoneidad del personal a cargo y controlar las condiciones de seguridad y salud del personal que ejecuta las actividades ya sea con personal propio y/o subcontratistas.

 Conocimientos:

  • Interpretación de planos y documentación técnica asociada a proyectos de infraestructura eléctrica y energía.
  • Conocimiento de obras civiles, edificación de salas eléctricas, canalizaciones, excavaciones de gran volumen, fundaciones de equipos eléctricos, montaje de estructuras, trazado y niveles, etc.
  • Elaboración y control de planes de ejecución de obras.
  • Conocimiento de Seguridad y Salud ocupacional, identificación de peligros y análisis de riesgo.
  • Elaboración y completado de protocolos técnicos de OOCC.

 Experiencia:

 

  • Al menos 5 años de experiencia laboral desarrollando obras de infraestructura eléctricas y energías asociadas a la trasmisión eléctrica nacional, de las cuales 5 años participando directamente en terreno.

VOS MISSIONS : 

L'une de nos agences Travaux de Proximité, basée à Bry-sur-Marne, spécialisée en marché à bon de commande, recherche son futur Monteur CVC/PB H-F.

Vos principales missions seront les suivantes :

  1. Réaliser les tracés pour l'emplacement des divers appareils et le passage de la tuyauterie ;
  2. Réaliser le montage de gaines et de matériels aérauliques et hydrauliques ;
  3. Installer, assembler les tuyauteries (Acier – Inox – Cuivre) ;
  4. Choisir et poser les supports ;
  5. Veiller à l’application des procédures internes qualité, hygiène, santé-sécurité et environnement.

VOTRE PROFIL :

Titulaire d'un CAP à BP en installation thermique, sanitaire ou dans un domaine équivalent, vous avez acquis une première expérience réussie en tant que monteur en génie climatique.

Vous disposez de solides connaissances en aéraulique, CVC, hydraulique, fluides et plomberie.

Rigoureux et appliqué, vous respectez scrupuleusement les règles de sécurité lors de chaque intervention.

De plus, vous aurez la possibilité de participer à des astreintes en fonction des besoins de l’activité.

Les interventions se réaliseront principalement dans les départements du 77 et du 94.
