Equans is looking for a Joiner to join our team at Torness Power Station in Dunbar on a permanent basis for our EDF contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
As an effective member of the Hard Services Team, you will be focused on customer care with a “can do” attitude with the flexibility and adaptability to work within the team in a changing business environment. Duties include providing a wide variety of skills on site. Work will include the repair of internal and external doors, general joinery work and manufacturing of shelves, doors etc in accordance with Company standards.
Impact:
• To work as part of Hard Services team.
• To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
• To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
Complexity:
• To be always fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs.
• To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management, as necessary.
• To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary/documents / records are maintained accurately.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
• Experience of working on Nuclear sites preferred but not essential
• Previous job-related experience / qualifications
• Level 3 (NVQ/SVQ) Diploma in Wood Occupations
