Equans is looking for a Shift Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Media City in Greater Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 4 on, 4 off (2x 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am) per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package
Requirements
A Sound mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems is essential.
Experience of working on Commercial Hot and Cold-water Systems is essential.
Approved and formal apprenticeship served in Plumbing/Mechanical skill area required or relevant and practical experience within a similar industry
Sound awareness of risk assessment & working safely with equipment
Complete all statutory and non-statutory maintenance in accordance with set maintenance schedules and contract SLA’s
Complete reactive works in line with contract SLA’s
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety including ISO 9001 & 14,001
Ability to measure, work to plans ( method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/ skill
Impact:
Working to a high standard of Building Maintenance for various FM Companies, we require a fully reliable Mechanical Engineer who can work on their own initiative or within a team environment. Produce high quality reports of their findings along with estimates, for producing quotations. The role will involve being the face of EQUANS on site so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others is required.

Demonstrate competences with all relevant qualifications
Been in the FM Industry for a minimum of 5 years
Carry out Maintenance and Reactive Calls
You will be required to undertake general plumbing tasks as part of the role and general mechanical tasks
