As a Support & Maintenance Technician based in Brucargo, you’ll be the hero who ensures everything runs smoothly on-site and remotely while working with cutting-edge systems. Are you ready to take on the challenge?
- provide operational support to clients in case of incidents (on-call system)
- handle incoming calls about operational issues
- solve first-level issues remotely through analysis, corrections, and tests
- analyze second-level problems via trace files and share detailed reports with the development team
- collaborate with developers to address site issues
- track incidents until resolution and client acceptance
- keep clients updated with regular progress reports
- maintain systems across various sites by:
- staying informed about specific setups and updating related documentation
- performing preventive maintenance, both remotely and on-site
- managing test environments (virtual machines) to replicate or solve site issues
- ensuring cybersecurity requirements (patching, lifecycle management, and bug fixes)
- contributing to operational projects like monitoring tools and system configurations
Ready to bring your expertise to the table and thrive in this role?
- technical qualification in IT or related field
- minimum 3 years of experience in IT support (hardware and software)
- expertise in cloud systems and information systems management
- strong experience with Microsoft OS, IIS, SQL Server, and other market-leading databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- knowledge of NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch
- familiarity with Unix/Linux systems
- experience with ActiveMQ, microservices, and enterprise integration tools like Apache Camel is a bonus
- hands-on experience in industrial IT and system communications
- programming skills in JavaScript, Python, C#, or .NET
- proficiency with Jira/Confluence
- effective communicator, independent, and resourceful
- curious, team-oriented, and detail-focused
- client-oriented with a proactive mindset to deliver results
- willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20% of the time)
- availability for on-call duties (one week/month)
- fluent in English and French; Dutch is a plus. Ability to draft clear, precise technical documentation in English and French
