IGA Engineer​ (F/M)

Summary of the role

As an IGA Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of a global identity ecosystem managing over 95,000 identities, 2,300 applications, and hybrid environments (Active Directory & Entra ID). Your mission: automate identity lifecycle processes, enhance security, and optimize access governance across all business units and countries.

This is a hands-on engineering role with real impact; perfect for someone who enjoys scripting, solving complex problems, and building scalable identity solutions.

  • Develop and maintain IGA solutions: Integrate identity governance policies into IAM infrastructure.​
  • Create automation scripts: Support user provisioning, role management, and access certifications.​
  • Collaborate with teams: Ensure IGA solutions meet business and security goals.​
  • Technical support: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve IGA system issues.​
  • Assist with upgrades and optimizations: Improve IGA technologies.​

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain IGA solutions: User provisioning, role management, access certifications, entitlement reviews.​
  • Automation and scripting: Improve IGA processes like user lifecycle management and policy enforcement.​
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Resolve user access, workflow, and integration problems.​
  • RBAC & SoD Implementation: Design and enforce access policies aligned with compliance standards.
  • System Integration: Automate access management with other enterprise systems.​
  • Performance Monitoring: Ensure performance and stability: Regular testing, upgrades, and optimizations.​ Recommend improvements for efficiency, scalability, and security.​
  • Technical documentation: Maintain clarity for configurations, workflows, and integrations.​
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share best practices for IGA processes and tools.​
  • Audit & Compliance: Ensure IGA solutions meet regulatory requirements.

PROFILE

Academic background & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), with hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and maintaining IGA tools and solutions.​
  • Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, including user provisioning, role management, access certifications, and entitlement reviews.​
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Java, Python) to automate IGA processes and integrate systems.​
  • Familiarity with role-based access control (RBAC) and segregation of duties (SoD).​

Skills

  • Proficiency in IGA tools, such as Saviynt, Okta, Azure AD, or other IGA platforms.​
  • Strong programming and scripting skills, particularly in languages like PowerShell, Java, Python for automating IGA processes and developing integrations.​
  • Understanding of identity lifecycle management processes, such as user provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, and access certifications.​
  • Familiarity with role-based access control (RBAC), entitlement management, and segregation of duties (SoD).​
  • Experience with API integrations for connecting IGA solutions to other enterprise systems (e.g., HR systems, ITSM tools, etc.).​
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST as they pertain to IGA.​
  • Experience in SQL and database management for handling IGA data, as well as proficiency in working with LDAP and other directory services.
