Who can refer candidates?

  • Any employee of Equans Belgium, whether you have a fixed-term or indefinite contract.
  • The candidate you refer will be linked to you for one year as your referred candidate.

For which positions can you refer candidates?

  • For a specific vacancy listed on the Equans job site.
  • For a spontaneous application.
  • For an internship that leads to a Permanent contract within a year.

Who can be referred?

  • Anyone interested in working at Equans Belgium and possessing the necessary competencies for our activities.
  • Former Equans employees who have been out of service for more than 1 year (365 calendar days) and who were not dismissed by any of the Equans companies.

Who cannot be referred?

  • Subcontractors active on our projects.
  • Candidates who have worked or are currently working at Equans through temporary employment, consultancy/secondment, internship, etc., in the past year.
  • Candidates who have been involved in a selection process at Equans Belgium in the past year (whether by applying themselves or by contacting a recruiter/sourcer).
  • Former employees who have been dismissed.

Who is eligible for the bonus?

You must have an employment contract, either for a fixed-term or indefinite period, with Equans Belgium. The person you refer must still be employed by Equans at the time of the bonus payment.
The candidate you refer must be hired for an indefinite contract with Equans Belgium, either directly or after a temporary period, internship, or conversion from a fixed-term to indefinite contract.

Who is not eligible for the bonus?

  • Members of AExCom and DIM.
  • HR employees of Recruiting, Sourcing, Publishing, Back Office, Workforce Planning, HRBP, HRD, and direct reports to the CHRO.

What is the reward and when is it paid out?

  • A gross bonus of €1500.
  • The bonus is paid out via the payslip in the month following the start date of the indefinite contract.
  • The bonus is awarded to the first Referrer* who has referred within a year (one bonus per accepted candidate).
  • The bonus is only paid out if the referral process is followed correctly, including filling out the questionnaire (via QR code).

Who is eligible for a double bonus upon reaching the quota for 2024?

  • Only employees who were eligible for a first referral bonus are eligible for a double bonus.
  • The Referrer* must still be employed at Equans Belgium with a fixed-term or indefinite contract at the time of the double bonus payment.
  • The Referral must still be employed at Equans Belgium with an indefinite contract at the time of the double bonus payment.

*Referrer is the Equans Belgium employee who refers a candidate (the “referral”).

*Referral is the candidate referred by the Equans Belgium employee (the “referrer”).
