Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Facilities Services Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-4 years of experience in facility management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or a similar field. The Facilities Services Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of facility operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. Proficient in Maximo would be beneficial.  Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations of facility services, including maintenance, janitorial, Pest control, and landscaping.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment.
  • Monitor and manage building automation systems to maintain optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors for specialized services and projects.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory management.
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost control for facility operations.
  • Support the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
  • Coordinate space planning and office moves to accommodate organizational changes.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

Requirements

  • Is authorized to work in the US; .
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in facility management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or a similar field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical and the Life science industry (including but not limit to GMP)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Certification in facility management (CFM, FMP, or equivalent) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
