Office Engineer Datacenters
As an Office Engineer, you play a crucial role and act as an ambassador for Equans in the overall service provided to the customer. You develop functional challenges into actionable plans, perform calculations, manage orders, and execute tasks with your teammates. You remain involved in “your” projects from start to finish.
What you will do
As an Office Engineer Datacenters, you are the electrical engineering specialist in the datacenter team, and you are not afraid to take responsibility. You thrive on technical challenges with ambitious deadlines on the one hand, and plenty of freedom on the other.
You will ensure technical solutions that provide the optimal customer experience. This involves scheduling technicians, ordering materials, and aligning the planning with the client. Additionally, you will handle the administration and monitor the quality and costs of the various projects you manage. You will have regular contact with the project managers at Equans on location, and when necessary, you will coordinate matters independently with the client.
In this role, you are the spider in the web, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You communicate easily in English and know how to get stakeholders on board. You will work mainly on-site with the customer.

What you bring
To be eligible for the role of Office Engineer Datacenters, you must meet the following criteria:
- an MBO level 4 diploma in a relevant field
- knowledge and experience in electrical engineering & instrumentation (NEN3840, NEN3140, NEN1010)
- experience in independently creating budgets, quotations, and developing functional challenges
- insight into project risks and the ability to identify and quantify them at different stages of a project
- knowledge of and experience with various software packages (MS Projects, Google Workspace, SAP, etc.)
- willingness to expand your knowledge of data centers through CDCP and CDFOM training
- strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English; Dutch is a plus
