Equans is looking for an Electrician to join our team in Central London on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary plus company benefits package. 

Working as part of the shift operations team, reporting operationally to the Site Operations Risk Controller, you will be expected to take a proactive role in the maintenance of the building electrical assets across the Commerzbank campus, both through planned maintenance and reactive “help desk” requests.

As the Multiskilled Shift Technician you will be key to the effective and continuous availability of the Electrical/Mechanical Services associated with the Commerzbank London Campus. You will provide electrical/mechanical support to the shift Operational Risk Controller in maintaining and fault finding of the Electrical/Mechanical assets.

What will you deliver? 

  • To ensure site Electrical & Mechanical systems are operated and maintained to the required codes of practice and industry guidelines
  • Ensure the PPM’s for the as built equipment is fully maintained and carried out in a high calibre and on time
  • To carry out day today maintenance and reactive issues relating to all the electrical equipment and assets
  • Carry out fault identification/rectification and escalation when required on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning issues
  • Installation and modification of site electrical/mechanical services
  • Support Shift Operational Risk Controller with LV/HV Switching requirements
  • Maintain effective communication to the site operations risk controller, including plant status, plant isolations, issues arising, ongoing works and standards of housekeeping
  • Ensure any parts required are clearly and accurately stated and any difficulties encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Shift Operational Risk Controller
  • Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping

Who are we looking for? 

 

  • C&G Level 3 qualified or equivalent in an electrical services/maintenance
  • HV Authorised Person Certificate and experience (desirable)
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation competent
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff
  • Experience in a Building Services industry is preferable
