.NET Developer
Requisition ID: 67057
Domain: Digital and IT/Developer
Contract type: Permanent
Schedule: Full-Time
What if you could program the digital logistics processes of tomorrow?
At LMS, a department of Equans, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in the industry.
With 25 years of experience offering smart logistics solutions for the industry, no challenge is too small or too big for us. For example, did you know that the sugar in your coffee or cola likely reached you through our solution? Yes, LMS provides a solution that helps 45% of the sugar market, from the field to the factory—pretty cool, right! And it doesn’t stop there, do you enjoy a Stella or Jupiler? Then we’ve ensured the truck was properly guided to the factory site.
Still with us? Awesome! Because you might be the developer we’re looking for to help develop and deploy our solutions.
As our Software Developer, you get energized by:
- brainstorming the right solution for the challenges our client brings to us
- implementing this solution based on our own LMS framework
- the variety between analysis, programming, deployment, and aftercare support
- sharing your knowledge within the team to help everyone grow
- working with various technologies like C# .NET, ASP MVC, Blazor, WPF, SQL
- the possibility to combine software with hardware, such as writing code for Mifare badge readers, weight bridge indicators, barcode scanners, PLC connections, and other applications
What will your day look like with us?
Instead of telling you exactly how your day will go, we’d like to put the challenge in your hands to shape it. What you do will depend on the type of role you take on and where your strengths lie. For example, we have analysts, mobile developers, web developers, WPF developers, and DB experts. Each with their own tasks, and quite a bit of overlap. Think of:
Detail engineering and analysis, testing, front-end, back-end development, UI development, installation & commissioning, service & support, training, DB warehousing, etc.
What do you bring?
- a bachelor’s or master’s degree in ICT, computer science, Software Engineering, or Electronics-ICT
- experience with object-oriented programming in C# .NET and knowledge of .Net Core, ASP MVC, Blazor, SQL and/or WPF
- a solution-oriented mindset and persistence. You think in solutions, not problems, and you take on every challenge with enthusiasm
- a structured work style, with knowledge of Agile as a plus
- flexibility and not a 9-to-5 mentality
- willingness to travel to our office in Genk and to clients
- fluent knowledge of Dutch and English (French and/or German is a plus)
Ready to contribute to tomorrow’s multitechnical challenges (along with a challenging job and a fun team)?
Yes? Then you’ll join a fast-growing team that is part of one of the largest multi-technical service providers in the country, Equans. Not only does this offer opportunities, but also plenty of security.
You will be exposed to the latest technologies and help our clients with the three major transitions of today: the energy transition, the industrial transition, and the digital transition.
We believe that the basics should be right from the start. So, a job at Equans means:
- a competitive salary aligned with your education and experience
- we focus not only on developing our software but also on developing ourselves, with a strong emphasis on training and learning
- group, hospitalization insurance
- eco & meal vouchers, 13th month
- company car (with fuel card/charging card)
- smartphone with subscription
- and a focus on the right work-life balance, with options like a homeworking day and flexible hours
We look forward to meeting you!
