As a group we have defined a number of Shared Line of IT Services which will deliver services globally across all business units (24/7). 

We are looking for an M&C service manager to join our SLS DWP team.

As part of EQUANS’ initiative to become an autonomous organization, a new IT Operating Model has been established to deliver core IT components globally to various business units. This includes the definition of Shared Line of Services (SLS), which provides 24/7 services across the organization. One of these SLS is the Digital Workplace (DWP), which covers IT Service Management & Tooling, Identity and Access Management, Endpoint Management, and Messaging & Collaboration.

The Service Manager for Messaging & Collaboration, with a focus on Microsoft 365 (M365), plays a crucial role that combines technical expertise, managerial skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication. This position is essential for ensuring that messaging and collaboration tools are aligned with the organization’s goals and adapt to evolving needs and technologies.

As our Messaging & Collaboration service manager, you will:

  • Team leadership: manage an international team of M&C experts; provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
  • M&C roadmap development & implementation
  • Partner Management: manage the relationship with third party vendors & service provider for L3 support
  • Tenant administration: manage the M365 tenant (up to potentially 100K employees), ensure compliance with established policies and governance framework
  • Mergers & acquisitions: lead M365 integration planning for newly acquired companies & carve out’s; collaborate with stakeholders to align strategies during transitions
  • Budget responsibility: oversee the overall budget and define a cost/financing model with the group IT performance team, enabling cross-charging and delivering value-for-money services

Your profile:

  • Proven experience in managing service teams and/or complex program
  • Strong and proven technical knowledge in mentioned domains (O365, …)
  • Proven experience in working with outsourcing partners, ideally offshore
  • You communicate in a concise but kind way and have good social skills.
  • You are pro-active and you have a problem solving mindset.
  • You are able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • You have a hands-on attitude and are open to tasks outside of the classic task description
  • You are customer-oriented and you have a learning mentality.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in complex IT organization(s).
  • You have experience in Agile ways of working.
  • You are flexible and not resilient to change.

Further requirements:

  • You are open for travelling to other regions (once per Q)
  • Languages: full professional proficiency in English
