We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Helpdesk Administrator to join our Facilities Management team at the University of West London in Ealing. This is a permanent part-time role working 20 hours per week from 9am to 2pm, Monday to Thursday only.
The role:
- Reporting to the Helpdesk Supervisor
- To provide a professional Helpdesk service to the UWL site
- To receive calls, log details onto the FM Support System (Maximo), pass jobs through to operational staff and report back to the end user/customers
- To support the planned maintenance programme by printing off job dockets and updating the system when work complete
- To provide administration support by assisting in the preparation of reports, etc., maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Ensure that files and filing systems are kept up to date
- Assist with raising purchase orders for contractors / materials and placing contractor call outs
- Working 20 hours per week from 9am to 2pm, Monday to Thursday.
The person:
- Must have experience of providing excellent customer service on a Helpdesk
- Knowledge of Maximo is highly desirable
- Will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Must have good IT skills (able to use Microsoft Office and management systems)
- Well organised and able to prioritise workload
- Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment
