Equans is looking for a Performance & Support Services Manager to join the team at Manchester Joint Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

EQUANS is recruiting a Performance & Support Services Manager to be based at the Manchester Joint Hospital account. The candidate will be responsible for performance management and reporting for all aspects of the MJH Lifecycle Account, including PMO, Health & Safety, Sustainability, Technical Compliance, Finance, HR and Procurement, to produce measurable, continuous improvement to the performance of the account. A key responsibility will also be to develop and implement transformation programmes to deliver business improvements.
What will you deliver?
- Form part of the on-site senior management team, delivering to agreed service levels within agreed budgets
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team to increase performance thorough consistency and innovation
- Responsible for day-to-day monitoring of performance and operational reporting to understand and analyse contract performance. Co-ordinating with the site based PMO and technical resources
- Support the Account Direct/Site Leadership team by producing service reports, daily/weekly updates, and other reports as required
- Be the Site Leadership team lead for sustainability, engaging with central sustainability support functions and delivering tangible and measurable sustainability benefits
- Monitor performance of the account daily to identify trends and minimise failures by providing advice, feedback, and updates to the team in the promotion of best practice
- Develop, agree, and review processes necessary to deliver the account more effectively
- Provide and deliver monthly performance reports
- Identify issues and pro-actively offer solutions to improve performance, to include implementation of action/improvement plans where required
- Undertake root-cause and trend analysis of performance data, ascertaining trends & documenting improvement actions developed with service managers to address challenges, variances, or risk
- Develop working relationships & improve communication with the team and all other members of staff
- Initiate & manage roll out of companywide initiatives to site based staff; encourage & maximise team participation
- Interact with Senior Managers and Directors within Equans and Client and attend meetings as required
- Be point of contact and provide advice on day-to-day account performance queries
- Liaise with the team to communicate key areas of focus daily/ weekly
- Always promote the delivery of excellent customer service
- Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure that key topics are discussed, and potential problems are highlighted to minimise service failures
- Maintain all records, files and evidence that support contract reporting & compliance
- Set and contribute to overall team objectives
- Establish and maintain good team morale and drive performance
- Adhere to the company code of values and manage any non-conformance through agreed processes
- Take ownership of client complaints and queries and follow through to resolution
- Hold and contribute to team meetings, exchanging ideas and putting forward suggestions to improve team performance and service delivery
- Clear communication of the company vision and objectives ensuring the implementation of new procedures
- Promote and drive the company values
- Keep up to date with industry developments, driving innovation and effective change

Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrable practical knowledge of facilities management operations and transformational programme management
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Conversant with Microsoft applications (Office, Excel, Project, etc)
- Demonstrable experience of budget & expenditure management
This role includes a DBS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
