EQUANS are looking for a Mobile GMO working on our HMCTS contract at Leeds Combined Court. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
Equans provide technical and soft services to our client HMCTS across a large portfolio of buildings across the UK. As part of the service, we provide low voltage electrical maintenance and installation services, and because of business growth, we are recruiting for additional roles to provide these services for our customer.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and Equans processes and procedures. Activities will include:
•Inspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofs, free standing and fitted furniture, drainage and gully systems, lamps or tubes, doors, windows and associated furniture.
•Legionella duties – tap temperatures and flushing.
•Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signs/notices.
•Plantroom inspections and AHU filter changes.
•Reactive repairs and initial attendance for toilets, leaks and blockages.
•Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required.
•Carry out reactive / Ad-Hoc activities – being the first response on site, and where appropriate taking immediate action to make safe.
•Escorting contractors and monitoring works.
•Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices, including the wearing of uniform and PPE.
•Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate, with an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI’s/SLA’s.
•Ensure CAFM system, e.g. Maximo, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
•To gain Technical Appointments as required e.g. LVCP and Water Hygiene CP to permit Lamp changing and L8 activities e.g. tap flushing.
•Perform ad hoc Cleaning Services as and when needed.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Impact:
Working to high standard of service, we require a fully reliable and competent individual who can work on own initiative, within a team or oversee subcontractor’s, producing good quality reports on their findings and work. The role will involve being the face of Equans so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others including customers is required.
Complexity:
The successful candidate will have the ability to work unaided and build rapports with end users and customers, promoting Equans’ values. Have an excellent knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and/or painting/decorating techniques. Have an eye for detail and be conscious of quality standards.
