Equans is a renowned energies & services contractor and a proud member of the Bouygues global industrial group. Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.

We have a great opportunity for a Document Controller to join our highly successful Energy business; primarily supporting our renewable energy projects. 

Key Activities

  • Receipt and issue of project documentation within the CDE
  • Check incoming documentation for correct numbering, naming, revision & status details
  • Process documents through project review workflows
  • Create and maintain CDE folder structures and workflows
  • Ensure sharing/transmittal of documents to clients and subcontractors
  • Training of internal and external CDE users
  • Liaising with handover team and other project personnel to assist with project information flow
  • Reporting of document lists, review statuses
  • Potential opportunities to work on other aspects of project information management, such as creating information delivery plans and expediting document submissions against planned dates.
  • Provide assistance with setting up new employees with the correct equipment and systems: laptops, mobiles, user profiles

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Document control experience within an engineering or construction industry sector
  • Experienced in use of Autodesk Construction Cloud software
  • Understanding of document, data & information management practices and procedures
  • Collaborative skills and experience in multi-disciplinary teams

Software Skills

  • Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Microsoft 365
  • Power BI (desirable)
  • BIM tools
