What will you deliver?
- Responsible for the management of a team of trade operatives or Sub-Contractors delivering a wide range of responsive and reactive maintenance and void projects.
- Responsible for the efficient use of resources and ensuring that, job planning, appointments, resource allocation, materials, plant and equipment are effectively utilised and continuously improved in accordance with service delivery targets

- The Service Manager fulfils a critical role within the organisation and ensures that the roles and responsibilities or Trade Operatives and Sub-Contractors are adhered to

Mechanical Manager

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the Mechanical Manager is part of a larger site based team and has overall responsibility for leading the mechanical service delivery of Ventilation including Local Exhaust Ventilation, Fire Dampers & Motorised Fire & Smoke Dampers, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Chiller Plant, Water, MTHW, LTHW Boiler and Generator Services, and all associated equipment throughout the site.

M&E Engineer

- Maximise variation and specification change opportunities on live schemes to ensure all opportunities of increased margins are identified and considered
- Ensure all value is captured, inclusive of measuring and valuing all exclusion works using the agreed contract method
- Overseeing and managing the submission of V.O's, quotations and estimates
- Ensure sub-contract buying gains are maximized, working with the Regional director to ensure appropriate SC choices are made at contract set up
- Establish accurate cost delivery data within the region, and work with estimating teams to ensure real delivery costs are incorporated into live tenders, attend financial tender adjudication reviews to discuss potential risk and opportunities at tender stage
- Attend monthly senior commercial team meetings

Shift Electrical Engineer
Equans is looking for a Shift Electrical Engineer to join our team at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) in Smethwick. This is a full-time role working 40.25 hours per week. This is based on a shift rota working 2 days on (7am-7pm) then 2 nights on (7pm-7am) then 4 days off. On offer is a competitive salary, plus a shift allowance and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Undertake a proactive role in responding to reactive jobs to complete diagnostic, fault finding and repair to complex mechanical systems in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance
- Respond to BMS alerts and phone calls during nightshift, acting as the initial point of contact. Assess the nature of the issue, allocate the task to the appropriate team member, and complete the necessary documentation. Ensure all records are handed over to the Helpdesk team at the start of their shift to support effective service continuity
- Obtain Competent Person status following training and instruction for systems such as low voltage electrical systems, access control systems, alarm systems and medical gas installations
- Undertake role of Authorised Person following appropriate training and familiarisation
- Work on the following but not limited to; emergency lighting, nurse calls, general electrics, fire alarms

Strategisch Inkoper E-mobility
Een nieuw werkveld ontginnen én een bijdrage leveren aan de energietransitie: dat is wat jij wil. We zijn de grootste aanbieder van laadpalen op openbare parkeerplaatsen in Nederland en willen ook op bedrijventerreinen de grootste zijn. We brengen elektrisch rijden binnen bereik voor iedereen! Nederland heeft nu al de meeste laadpalen van Europa, maar om emissieloos rijden echt verder te brengen, willen we laden nóg makkelijker maken.
Velian
Wij zijn er vanaf het begin van E-mobility bij. Voorheen onder de vleugels van Engie en Equans, zijn we dit jaar met 90 collega’s een apart bedrijf geworden: Velian. Uniek in onze soort, met enorme (olie) concurrenten, zijn wij een klein bedrijf met een start-up mentaliteit. We hebben steady inkomsten uit onze ‘gegunde’ gemeenten en als het aan jou ligt net zulke steady uitgaven. Het is een relatief nieuwe business en we hopen dat jij de serieuze van de niet-serieuze partijen kunt onderscheiden.
Zoveel facetten, zoveel partijen
Een laadpaal. Zo ingewikkeld klinkt dat niet. In de praktijk komt er meer bij kijken dan (de leveranciers van) die hardware alleen. De laadsessies moeten geregistreerd en betaald worden: elk stukje in die keten heeft zijn eigen software. Daarnaast werken we samen met leveranciers voor installatie, beheer en onderhoud van de laadpunten. Natuurlijk hebben we ook leveranciers voor ondersteunende bedrijfsprocessen, maar daar ligt niet jouw focus. Jij bent van de 3 inkopers verantwoordelijk voor alle leveranciers rondom de laadpaalinfrastructuur.
Vernieuwen en tenders
Dit hierboven klinkt alsof het allemaal al is uitgestippeld. Maar E-mobility is dus een relatief nieuwe business én een business die zich technisch blijft vernieuwen. Dat moet ook wel, als we bijvoorbeeld niet willen dat netcongestie de energietransitie de das om doet. Dat betekent dat we niet 1 vaste leverancier hebben voor onze hardware en software. We onderzoeken altijd andere partijen: binnen én buiten Nederland. Een tender voor een gemeente of regio is voor ons een kans om met hún wensen opnieuw te kijken wat er mogelijk is. Jij als inkoper bent hier nauw bij betrokken. Samen met de adviseurs van Product & Energie verken je de markt en bereid je het contract met een nieuwe leverancier voor.

PLAATS IN DE ORGANISATIE
De Commercieel Directeur West-Nederland maakt onderdeel uit van het directieteam van Equans West-Nederland en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Directeur West-Nederland.
Daarnaast werkt de Commercieel Directeur nauw samen met de Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), de landelijke commerciële organisatie, Business Profit Centers (BPC's) en specialistische business units binnen Equans Nederland.
De Commercieel Directeur geeft hiërarchisch en functioneel leiding aan de commerciële managers, tenderorganisatie en manager Calculatie binnen West-Nederland. Daarnaast worden Procurement, Carbon Shift en Legal functioneel aangestuurd vanuit de regionale commerciële verantwoordelijkheid.
Binnen de regio is de Commercieel Directeur eindverantwoordelijk voor het realiseren van de commerciële groeidoelstellingen en het ontwikkelen van een toekomstbestendige commerciële organisatie.
DE OPDRACHT
Equans West-Nederland heeft de ambitie haar positie als strategische technische dienstverlener verder uit te bouwen en duurzame winstgevende groei te realiseren. De commerciële opgave bestaat uit het versterken van klantrelaties, het vergroten van marktaandeel, het ontwikkelen van onderscheidende proposities en het optimaal benutten van de kansen die voortkomen uit de energie-, digitale en industriële transitie.
Als Commercieel Directeur geef je richting aan deze ambitie en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vertalen van de landelijke commerciële strategie naar een concrete regionale aanpak.
Je identificeert groeikansen in bestaande en nieuwe markten, ontwikkelt commerciële proposities en zorgt ervoor dat Equans haar positie als strategische partner verder versterkt bij zowel bestaande als nieuwe klanten.
