Mobile Technical Operative - Fabric

EQUANS are looking for a Mobile Technical Operative (Fabric) – this role will be covering Leicester and Northampton areas for our HMCTS contract. There will be 13 courts covered across the area including Magistrates, Combined Courts, Tribunal Buildings etc. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week – overtime is also available. On offer is a competitive salary of £28,500, a company van, additional training/qualifications and benefits package.

General Overview:

The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and Equan processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

•Inspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofs, free standing and fitted furniture, doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.

•Inspect/clear drainage and gully systems, unblock toilets and sinks

•Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices

•Carry out Ad-Hoc activities supporting Equans and client team including moves/changes

•Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.

•Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.

•Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed accurately regarding planned and reactive activities and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator/ Helpdesk.

•Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.

•To develop a good working relationship with all members of Equans staff, subcontractors and the client representatives.

•Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To include the wearing of uniform and PPE at all times.

•Ensure the professional image of Equans is presented to clients at all times

•Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of Equans are kept in a clean and tidy condition.

•Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site carrying out associated Fabric tasks

•To arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.

•To undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training.

•Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate, and an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.

•The position will require you to provide support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.

Client / Customer

•Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests

•Production of information for quotations

Helpdesk - PPM

•Support the Helpdesk as required when reporting or updating planned and reactive activities

•Be available for out of hours call-out support for the contract if required

Compliance

•To gain Technical Appointments as required e.g. LVCP and Water Hygiene CP to permit Lamp changing and L8 activities e.g tap flushing

•Produce Condition / Dilapidation Reports as required for fabric assets

•Ensure supervisor is informed immediately if dangerous circumstances occur

SHEQ

•Comply with requests for information from SHEQ manager

•Ensure you work to company health and safety policy

•Ensue PPE is safe to use

•Report accident and near misses in a timely manner

•Ensure your test equipment is within calibration

•Ensure you follow Method Statements & Risk Assessments for all works

Impact:

Working to high standard of Building Maintenance, we require a fully reliable and competent Fabric Tech who can work on own initiative, within a team or oversee subcontractor’s, producing high quality reports on their findings and work.

Complexity:

The successful candidate will have the ability to work unaided and build rapports with end users and customers, promoting EQUANS’ values.

Have an excellent knowledge of carpentry and/or painting/decorating techniques.

Have an eye for detail and be conscious of quality standards.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

Suitable experience working in a similar high demanding role.

Demonstrable experience in either carpentry, painting or flooring in a construction, repair or maintenance environment. Good knowledge of Fire Door maintenance and inspection techniques.

Understanding of Legionella control techniques e.g. tap flushing

Essential

•Be able to pass and sustain BPSS

•Must hold a full clean UK driver’s license

Desirable

•Holding a NVQ (or equivalent) in a chosen fabric-related field i.e. Joinery, Building Maintenance etc.

Service Co-ordinator - Helpdesk - 12 month FTC

EQUANS is looking for a Service Coordinator - Helpdesk to join our team on our HMCTS contract based in Stoke-on-Trent (ST4) on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day between the hours of 08:00 & 16:30, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break. Project Co-ordinator

EQUANS are recruiting for an Projects Co-Ordinator to be based in Crewe. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview

Equans deliver a comprehensive and quality service to our multi-sector customers across the UK. We provide a 24/7 reactive/planned preventative maintenance service for technical building services and undertake some specialist Project work involving plant replacements and refurbishments of commercial properties.

The role is office/home based with a necessity to attend meetings across different sites as well as our local office in Crewe. This role is fundamental support to a Project Management team within a Facility’s Management account supporting construction and general project management on behalf of Cheshire East Council.

This will require an experienced person with presence, commitment, exceptional management competencies and communication skills to ensure that the contracts financial budgets, quality, health & safety and operational commitments are met and exceeded.

This role will be part of a projects team within a Facilities Management Account who provide service to Cheshire East Council and will be responsible for the back-office co-ordination and administration of a catalogue of minor works and capital works up the value of £250k each totalling circa. £5m per annum and supporting the helpdesk lead with housekeeping of Purchase Orders and the asset management Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM), system.

Key Accountabilities

Preparation of final accounts for all capital & minor works projects
Creation of labour utilisation reports for all project’s operatives on a weekly basis
Management of POEM across the account in conjunction with the senior project managers and finance business partner
Creation of IOs for all new projects on the account and updating the projects tracker accordingly
Management of all POs across projects & minor works on COUPA including raising and receipting them.
Management of purchase card logs for all project managers and minor works managers.
Appraisal of earnt values via the WIP report and meetings with project managers to allow accurate billing.
Monitor and manage project WIP/Debt to an acceptable level.
Ensure financial policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and monitored
Attend meetings with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and other company members as necessary.
Responsible for the management of the capital projects tracker and ensuring all data it contains is correct to allow for accurate financial forecasts.
Ensuring all timesheets for projects operatives is inputted into SAP in a timely fashion.
Creation of monthly payment applications for capital works on projects
Ensuring that project managers are correctly managing variations.
Holding a minimum of monthly 1-2-1s with all project managers to ensure that the projects tracker is kept up to date as well as any financial forecasts and to allow for POEM dates to be adjusted as required.
Oversee the administration of items relating to the costing of projects.
Achieve financial budget targets set by the Account Manager
Compliance with and record keeping for Company ISO Quality Management Systems.

What will you deliver?

Senior Operations Manager

Equans is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, car allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The purpose of the role is to facilitate the Hard FM activities undertaking the functional, technical and management aspects of the FM contract with respect to planned/ reactive maintenance, minor project work and the Forward Capital Maintenance Programme requirements.

What will you deliver?

To deliver high quality Hard FM services ensuring adding value, increased productivity, and cost efficiencies wherever possible and encourage innovation from staff to provide on-going service improvements
To recruit, select, motivate and manage the Hard FM services teams (where appropriate) and ensure an ongoing development to the highest standards of professionalism and customer service
Responsible for the management of planned maintenance regimes

To formulate suitable strategies, in conjunction the general manager to meet the demands of service provision, ongoing improvement, and adaptation to changing processes and environments

One CAFM Programme Manager

Equans is looking for an experienced Programme Delivery Manager to drive the design and delivery of our One CAFM Business Transformation Programme.

The candidate must have experience of implementing Salesforce ideally across the Field Service solution.

One CAFM is a significant business transformation programme for Equans, aiming to transform our Operational Service Delivery across our Facilities Management and Repairs and Maintenance activity, leveraging the capability of the Salesforce Field Services solution.

The role is an 18 month FTC basis. It is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.

This is a permanent full-time shift based position working an average of 40 hours per week, 12 hour shifts with a one hour unpaid break, 07:00 to 19:00 / 19:00 to 07:00. What will you deliver?

Reports to Facilities & Services Manager
Providing an efficient first point of contact for members of the public
Answer calls promptly and clearly before re-routing callers accordingly
Operate computer systems accurately to record enquires
Receive and administer property
To be responsible for the security, safety and tidiness of the station reception areas
Working an average of 40 hours per week on a 5 on 3 off shift pattern, 10 hour shifts, earlies, lates and nights.
May be required to provide occasional cover at other sites within SE London

Dit ga je doen als Servicetechnicus Werktuigbouwkunde

Als Servicemonteur Werktuigbouwkunde bij Equans op de locatie TATA Steel in Velsen ben je dagelijks bezig met het uitvoeren van onderhouds- en servicewerkzaamheden aan gebouwgebonden installaties binnen een complexe industriële omgeving.

Je lost storingen op, voert gepland onderhoud uit en zorgt ervoor dat installaties blijven voldoen aan de geldende eisen en afspraken. Daarnaast beheer je assets van de klant en denk je actief mee over verbeteringen.

Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s en de klant om werkzaamheden veilig en efficiënt uit te voeren. Door jouw inzet blijven cruciale installaties betrouwbaar functioneren en lever je een directe bijdrage aan het continu draaiende houden van het productieproces

Je houdt je bezig met het:

uitvoeren van gepland onderhoud aan HVAC-installaties
oplossen van storingen aan zowel reguliere als complexe installaties

Dit ga je doen als Werkvoorbereider Werktuigbouwkunde

Voor onze opdrachtgever ASML richten we ons op de uitvoering van de werkzaamheden op de campus in Veldhoven. We brengen dit tot leven met krachtige projectteams, elk met hun eigen unieke expertise. Binnen het team, welke zich richt op uitbreidingen op bestaande bouw, ben jij als Werkvoorbereider samen met een projectleider verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie van het gehele project. Projecten waar je aan moet denken; uitbreiding van luchtbehandelingssystemen, aanpassingen in grote industriële koelingen of uitdagende uitbreidingen in de huidige centrale utiliteitsgebouwen. En dit op een locatie waar je met de nieuwste technieken in aanraking komt want niks is te gek op de Campus van ASML.

Jij houdt je bezig met:

afstemming van de werkzaamheden met de uitvoerende collega’s
verzorgen van juiste materialen en middelen, tijdig en zorgvuldig geleverd
aanvragen en afstemmen van offertes bij en met toeleveranciers
aanvragen van werkvergunningen
opstellen van planningen en ondersteuning bieden in verloop van planning
bewaken van de kwaliteit en de kosten van uiteenlopende en complexe projecten
