Project Manager Datacenters

As a Project Manager, you play a key role as an ambassador for Equans, taking responsibility for the overall service delivery, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), and commercial aspects of multidisciplinary projects. You will report to the Senior Project Manager (Team Leader) and be responsible for your project team in terms of service delivery, compliance, client relationships, and life cycle management.

What you will do

As a Project Manager, you are a natural leader who takes responsibility. You will lead and coordinate your own multidisciplinary projects from the client’s location. In this dynamic role, where no day is the same, you will manage a varying number of internal employees, contractors, and subcontractors. You will oversee and optimize the entire process of our projects, from tender to delivery.

Your tasks will include:

• communicating with the client about ongoing projects, identifying opportunities for follow-up projects, and initiating actions
• preparing and working out tasks within the set budgets and timelines.
• setting up and monitoring a work schedule, taking into account relevant constraints (capacity, cost, safety, etc.)
• ensuring the timely availability of necessary materials, personnel, and resources, and ensuring correct administrative handling
• evaluating completed projects and processes and proposing improvements
• coaching, motivating, and directing your colleagues within the project team

What you bring

To be eligible for the role of Project Manager, you must meet the following criteria:

• hbo (Higher Professional Education) level in a technical field
• experience in managing multidisciplinary projects in mission-critical environments such as data centers
• good knowledge of various software packages (MS Projects, Google Workspace, SAP, etc.)
• willingness to expand your knowledge through training such as CDCP and CDFOM
• strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• an extensive screening process is part of the selection procedure
