As an Energy Efficiency Engineer, you’ll lead impactful projects, from energy audits to cutting-edge decarbonization initiatives. What will you be doing? Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
- conducting quick scans and energy audits of buildings and HVAC systems
- collaborating with technical teams to propose energy-saving solutions to optimize installations
- monitoring installations, identifying deviations, and creating energy performance reports
- designing energy monitoring systems for precise, real-time insights
- contributing to the development and standardization of metering solutions aligned with best practices and market needs
- ensuring regular communication with clients
- staying informed about trends in decarbonization and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to integrate into energy solutions
- ensuring safety and quality remain at the core of all activities
- participating in technical studies related to energy performance contracts (EPC)
Could this be you? Bring the following:
- a degree in industrial/civil engineering (electromechanical, civil construction, or architecture)
- excellent knowledge of buildings, including construction techniques, envelope systems, and technical installations (renewables, HVAC, electricity)
- the ability to identify building improvements such as insulation, airtightness, and thermal savings
- expertise in building thermics and electricity, with the ability to calculate savings related to improvements
- a strong background in building techniques (architecture, HVAC, monitoring, regulation)
- familiarity with energy performance regulations (EPB) in one or more Belgian regions (is a plus)
- an interest in decarbonization, CSR, and carbon accounting practices (is a plus)
- experience with tools like Excel or Python for data analysis
- strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data
- the ability to write high-quality reports and present findings clearly to clients
- a strong sense of innovation and openness to new ideas
- the ability to listen to clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions
- autonomy combined with a collaborative spirit, ready to share your skills with colleagues
- fluency in Dutch and French
