EQUANS is looking for a Project Assistant to to join our highly successful Projects business unit primarily supporting M&E projects fit out projects to be based at our head office in Waterloo. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- To provide support in the planning, execution, monitoring and control of projects within the PMO Portfolio: tracking project progress, assisting in budget preparation, monitoring work plan execution, writing project related reports and other documentation and co-ordinating project meetings.
- Contribute towards the development and scoping of projects.
- Track the progress of projects using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
- Help prepare budget proposals, assist in managing and monitoring budget expenditure/variations and provide interim status reports of all projects.
- Assist in the collection, compilation and analysis of data relative to the programme.
- Provide assistance in the maintenance of financial records on the utilisation of funds under all projects.
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services.
- Provide support in developing monitoring and evaluation reports and studies which will identify very early, slippages and reasons for same.
- Assist in writing reports and other project related documentation.

Who are you?
- Previous experience in delivering high quality administrative or project co-ordination services, ideally within an FM, construction, consultancy or project management environment is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and financial tracking skills
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint
- Familiarity with Maximo and SAP systems is an advantage
- Must be willing to obtain government security clearance
