EQUANS are recruiting for a Compliance Officer to be based in Belfast. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience and benefits package.
General Overview
To ensure compliance is adhered to and maintained across the business and support each contract in the maintenance of this.
Key Accountabilities
To organise and ensure all inspections and maintenance, in relation to both NI Office and Store are compliant and deal with remedials such as;
- PAT
- LOLER & Lift Maintenance
- Fire Risk Assessment/Extinguishers
- Air Conditioning
- Electrical Rests
- Emergency Lighting
To be responsible for quality inspections, equipment registers and ensure records are collated in line with SHEQ requirements. To understand, implement and adhere to the company SHEQ policy/strategy.
Assets Registers
- Tools and Equipment Register
- Records of General Inspections
Quality Inspections such as;
- Harness Inspections
- Ladder Checks
- Tool and Equipment Checks
- Fire Extinguishers
Fleet
- Management of all fleet; ensuring fleet allocation is tracked and kept up to date
- Tracking of maintenance issues and ensuring MOT/Services etc. are maintained by operatives
- Vehicle spot inspections
- Van stocks
Mics
- PAT Testing
- Face Fitting
- Waste
- COSHH
To attend all relevant training courses, including all health and safety in line with job role.

Who are we looking for?
Essential
- Level 3 Qualified In-Service Inspections and Testing of Electrical Equipment (2377)
- Confident in the use of Office 365 packages; Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time in order to meet deadlines
- Professional attitude and approach to work
- Current and valid UK driving licence
Desirable
- Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
- Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- PUWER 1998
- MHSWR 1999
