Equans ANZ, a leading provider of technical services across Australia & New Zealand, and globally, is on the lookout for a HVAC Technician to be an important part of a small yet experienced team of multi-skilled technicians that work across a wide variety of sites and industries across the Greater Perth area.

What you will be doing

• Provide both reactive work and preventative maintenance to a range of different clients.
• Effectively diagnose problems and perform work of a technical nature on refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Self-manage workload with the ability to determine job priorities and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Mentor apprentices and provide technical onsite training.
• Establish and maintain relationships with our customers ensuring concerns and complaints are proactively addressed.
• Work closely with other colleagues and managers within the region to foster a strong team environment.
• Maintain a current industry knowledge and keep self-updated with changes and advances in refrigeration, air conditioning systems and technology
• You will be provided with training and development for a variety of different work required across multiple sites.
• You will be working on any one of our client sites that include schools, government, commercial and industrial tenancies.

 About you

• You can be an experienced HVAC technician.
• You can be a residential and small commercial AC technician who is looking for an opportunity to work with central plant.
• You are happy to be trained in all things commercial HVAC.
• Wiling to undergo national police check & full medical including drug and alcohol testing.

 Skills and experience

• Refrigeration and Air-conditioning experience.
• Western Australian Full or Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Applicable Trade Licence.
• Australian National Arctic Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Central plant experience is ideal, however not required.
• We are more than willing to train the right candidate.
