We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Administrator to join us on a 12 month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role offers hybrid working and can be based out of any of our offices across the UK.
The role:
- Acting as the first-line contact for any team queries from colleagues across the business. Responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitoring the shared L&D inbox and escalating queries to other team members, as necessary.
- Coordinating courses/events at head office and external locations, ensuring that events run smoothly. Specific focus on printing, AV equipment, catering, room set-up, meeting colleagues and visitors, course administration, etc.
- Administration support for the company training programme; monitoring attendance, booking sessions and trainers, updating Viva Engage and course content.
- Chasing course attendance, maintaining electronic records and supporting with the production of monthly reports and other statistical information.
- Supporting with external course/venue bookings, liaising with suppliers and attendees, raising purchase orders and administering payments.
- Creating, maintaining and updating digital content on the internal Learning Management System (LMS).
- Analysing and manipulating HR data using MS Excel.
- Supporting the L&D team with wider projects e.g. Induction, Mentoring/Coaching, Individual and Team Psychometrics, Diversity, Wellbeing and Cultural Change.
- Carrying out any specific tasks and project work designated by senior members of the Talent and Development team.
- Occasional UK travel to support residential programmes or onsite initiatives will be required. Travel cost will be reimbursed.
The person:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with various stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise work to tight deadlines
- Good IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Great attention to detail and ability to audit data for accuracy
- Able to work effectively in a small team and own initiative
- Able to work flexibly outside core hours when required and set up rooms for training
