EQUANS is looking for a Site Manager to be based in Noel Baker Academy, DE24 0BR. This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is salary of £28,600.00 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Times;
Monday to Friday 0800 till 16:00
What will you deliver?
An opportunity has arisen within the Derby Schools BSF contract for a self -motivated, flexible and hardworking individual to operate as a Site Manager. The Site Manager role will be based at Noel Baker Academy & St Martin’s School within Derby. To be responsible for the day to day running and security of the site and lead a team of multi-skilled caretakers to provide an exceptional service to all project stakeholders.
For this role you must undergo and enhanced DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Who are we looking for?
This role reports directly to the Account Manager.
General caretaking experience is advantageous, but not essential. However, the individual must:
- Able to promote good customer relationships
- Have a proven track record of practical maintenance skills
- Have a good understanding of services within a building such as boilers, heating, lighting and water management
- Have good knowledge of Health and Safety
- Have the ability to follow site and company policies and procedures
- Cover lettings to meet business requirements
- Have an affinity with their sites regarding ownership and pride in all they do;
- Have good communication skills being able to converse with people at all levels;
- Have a sound understanding of services and plant to be maintained within the building;
- Have an ability to understand / implement EQUANS policy and procedures
- Live within 30 minutes of site to provide reactive call out cover if required;
- Good IT skills (Desirable);
- Be physically fit.
- A full enhanced DBS clearance will be required before taking up position.
